May I request a scan of any content of Rafiel from the artbook? He is undoubtedly my favorite character from Radiant Dawn. He just "radiates" warmth. Thank you in advance.
ooh you are in luck. His wings are too big to fit onto one page, so here's Nailah as well!

Chapter 2.1, finally! For the folks still reading despite there only being one chapter a year, sincerest thank yous, and I hope you enjoy this little interactions I've looked forward to drawing for a long, long time.
Earlier installments are here on Tumblr under this tag but the easiest way to read would be on AO3.
As always, thoughts and comments appreciated!

A gentle reminder to everyone on this fandom. Plagiarism is an offence against the author and there are strict rules against it. This includes all forms of replication of another blog's work without properly acknowledging the original source.
Being inspired is a beautiful thing, and should be acknowledged and discussed freely and without judgement or shame. No one needs to be banned or bullied for not understanding how crediting works, and new blogs should not feel like the moment they set out to the social media, nothing they create is their own. Art may take hours even days planning and creating.
Credit people, lovelies. And have an awesome time in the fandom!

Here's the Deal –
If you are a creator who posts original content on Tumblr (which is the place to “follow the world’s creators,” after all), you probably need to be aware of the following fantastic shit:
People will steal your shit. Whether you think it’s worth being stolen or not, keep posting original work and sooner or later people will steal it. The only 100% fool-proof way to prevent plagiarism is not to post your work in the first place – much like the only 100% fool-proof way to prevent pregnancy is to abstain from sex. Deal with it and move on.
People will ask you if everything you post is your creation (or, accuse you of not creating the content you post). If your work actually is yours, say so and move on. The onus is on them to prove otherwise. Deal with it and move on.
People will say your work sucks. Thank them for taking the time to look at your blog and tell them you appreciate their opinion. Nothing you create will be loved by every person in the world. Deal with it and move on.
People will say your work is the greatest they’ve ever seen and OMG they can’t believe you’re not famous yet and WTF is wrong with people your shit is the greatest stuff ever. Thank them for taking the time to look at your blog and tell them you appreciate their opinion. Deal with it and move on.
People will attack you personally or attack your character because of something you’ve posted. Thank them for taking the time to look at your blog and tell them to eat a bag of dicks you appreciate their opinion. Deal with it and move on.
People will tell you how to run your blog, or imply that you’re fucking up their dash in some way. Politely point out that their dash is a social construct, the parameters of which they themselves define and therefore control. Remind them their dash doesn’t exist beyond their own account. Advise they check their privilege but add that you appreciate their opinion. Deal with it and move on.
I wanted to have seven items on this list. Deal with it and move on.

Hey, how do you deal with plagiarism? I’ve seen a lot of creators leave bcz of this. I’m a new creator and I wanted to your advice.
Plagiarism is the worst. It's frustrating to find, frustrating to deal with and ultimately inhibits free sharing of thought. What I've found though, is plagiarism tends to be (unfortunately) inevitable. I've dealt with a lot of situations during my time on Tumblr (people reposting without permission, people posting my stories and claiming to have written them, people stealing my stories and changing the main character/a few words...), and each instance has been draining and discouraging.
The good news (!) is the readers on this site tend to look out for the writers. Most of the incidents I've uncovered have come from my readers letting me know. With that said, there are a few things to be aware of re: plagiarism and writing on any site.
Most, if not all, platforms have strict rules against plagiarism. I.e., whatever site the plagiarizer posts on (Tumblr, Wattpad, etc.), there should be a way to report the plagiarizing content to the platform itself. (Examples: Tumblr and Wattpad).
Any post you make on Tumblr has a time stamp associated with it. This makes plagiarism fairly easy to report because, when you submit your claim (above), whoever reviews can easily see your piece was written first.
On Tumblr, you can edit the code on your page to disable copying/pasting anything more than one paragraph at a time. This makes it much more tedious for plagiarizers to steal your writing.
Some writers choose to cross-post to different sites (as I do with Wattpad and Tumblr) in order to discourage reposting of your work.
If you post on AO3, be aware readers can download your work to read offline, which makes it easier to steal and repurpose. AO3 has tons of other benefits, so I don't want to discourage anyone's use of the site, but it is important to be aware of.
If you are posting on Wattpad, be sure to read through the definitions in the “Copyright” section before posting. If you select something like “Creative Commons,” you’re essentially allowing reposting/utilization of your work in other mediums.
You can add a copyright disclaimer to your post on Tumblr if you wish (I do to discourage reposters), but it isn’t necessary. You have full rights to your work as soon as you write it, regardless of whether you add a disclaimer.
I hope something in the above helped! Best of luck in your writing, anon!

Homeland liberated. Before they put you back to jail for what happened in U'ldah and Baelsar's wall, it'd be fun to do some agriculture.

This is like the third or fourth time now that it's been suggested (in canon) that Raha happily indulges in recreational drugs...
The chemists in Spagyrics suggest it, there's a misc. quest in Labyrinthos that suggests it, he talks about "Hannish remedies" and now this Levequest.

Ilberd has two modes in Stormblood, "I can't believe they let me out of jail" and "I can't believe I survived, and now I'll have to awkwardly liberate Ala Mhigo with these people"

I'm like a week behind on MiqoMarch2025 cos of the patch update, and I've only just got the Brio update today so I have a lot of catching up to do... in the meantime my friend has been covering my ass and helped me out with two pieces that they created themselves... non-related to MiqoMarch but they gave me permission to use them - a tiny burden has been lifted, lol. Yes. It makes far more sense for him to sleep in the heart of the tower. As in, he is the blood of allag, the heart of the tower. The umbilicus is more like a study, right next to the eyes; the ocular. It has nothing resembling a sleeping pod or a vessel where he would be hibernating in.
He was there for 200 years, and in order to stay young and physically functional all that time, there is no doubt he was in the Twinning where his body was preserved in perfect condition.
G'raha Tia's Slumber Party.
Due to a few headcanon self-shipping YouTube videos being passed off as lore as to where G'raha Tia was found in the Crystal Tower; I feel I have to address this.
No, he wasn't found sleeping in "The Umbilicus" commanding hub room of "The Ocular" - He was found incredibly deep down within the depths and at the centre of The Crystal Tower (The Twinning).
There's basically a "basement" to The Crystal Tower and he was found there, somewhere at the centre of it.

Sometimes I like to do a bit of writing, I've been working on a fanfic about the friendship between my WoL and Raha for quite some time, but I have so many projects going on at the moment that it's taking me a while to fully invest myself in it.
Here's a little snippet anyhow... I'm quite shy with sharing my creative works but I plucked up enough courage to share a piece of it at least.
