Red Thread Games Shares Gameplay Footage of Dreamfall Chapters
Fans were left with a cliff hanger at the end of Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, years went by without a sequel and it seemed like the franchise had met the same fate as Shenmue. Crowd funding came to its rescue as a successful Kickstarter campaign would revive the series and allow for the next game to materialize, Dreamfall Chapters.

And, for one final Dino Run 2 crossover image, before our own campaign is extinct in 51 minutes, we bring you WindForge! in Dino Run 2 style.
What can I say, WindForge looks super-awesome, and it makes no sense why it hasn’t reached its goal already. We backed it and and needs your help right now too, with only 27 hours remaining. It’s close enough that it really can succeed!
They say it’s Contra Meets Minecraft in a Building Block RPG. It’s steampunk in style, everything is destructible and it even has cool airships and… flying whales!! (Hence this flying Plesiosaur in DR2 fashion..)
Check it out! It really deserves a look before time runs out.

Okay guys so this is Festival of Magic and it is a Kickstarter game for the Mac, Windows, Linux and the Wii U and it is a game I think just looks gorgeous; it is a sort of love story to the old RPGs of old (with obvious differences too). It’s even got an interesting battle system to boot and I just think this is BEAUTIFUL.
Anyway, it’s got 15 days left to fund but it has a REALLY LONG way to go. So if you like traditional RPGs, please please PLEASE fund it or just spread the news because I first heard of this game MONTHS ago and then I heard nothing else of it until just now and I feel it’s not getting enough exposure. So please please PLEASE spread the word!!

Okay guys, please listen up! Some independent game developers (including an acquaintance of mine) called Left Handed Games Studios are trying to put together a game called Lobodestroyo. Check out their Kickstarter page here! It’s a 3D action platformer in the style of old Rare classics like Banjo-Kazooie, currently for PC, Mac, Linux, and Ouya, BUT possibly for all current gen consoles too (Wii U, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One) if the stretch goals are met.
Left Handed Games needs $3500 to get this thing made; currently, they only have $7376. So as you can see, things aren’t looking so good.
Again, here’s the link to their Kickstarter. You can check out their amazing trailer (they really nailed that old-school, Rare-style humor) and donate a couple of bucks. Games like these just don’t get made anymore, so please chip in as much as you can. We may have another A Hat in Time on our hands!
Oh, and if any of this looks good to you, please like and reblog! Give these creative folks a hand.

The Dino Run Indie Collection revealed!
Yes, it’s true! So many of our favorite indie game characters are now about to make their dinosaur cameos in the upcoming Dino Run for Steam (March 2014), Dino Run iOS, (Unknown Release) and Dino Run 2 (2015, via our kickstarter).
That’s right, you will be able to play in the Dino Run universe alone or with friends & strangers wearing all of these (and more) hats and masks.
We’ve been thoroughly enjoying working with all of the indie developers who’s characters are represented here to bring you this bizarre and unique collection. Thank you to everyone who is participating! This is very exciting.
We look forward to increasing the collection in the coming months with even more great indie characters.
And of course, please feel free to share this and our Dino Run 2 Kickstarter with.. everyone!!

HELP US FUND OUR GAME ON KICKSTARTER!
One of the unique aspects of THE DIVINER is the ability to choose from a variety of political and religions factions to join and support in-game. Your alliances will have an immediate and dynamic impact on the world depending on who you team up with and how you choose to help them. The Revolutionary is one of these faction leaders that you will get to support — she will take advantage of a crippled monarchy in bringing about her own political reform.
THE DIVINER is a fantasy RPG in the style of Choose-Your-Own-Adventure style stories and text adventures. The Kickstarter ends on December 21st! Enter the giveaway for a chance to win a digital copy of the game! We can only complete this project (and you can meet this rad lady!) with your help!

The Walking Dead Meets Lord of the Files in the Survival Game “Dyscourse”
Every action has a reaction and consequence. The latest game from Owlchemy (clever) Labsseems to have taken this saying literally when they developed Dyscourse, and I am excited! Most games are like mathematical equations; they may have a few ways of completing the problem, but ultimately there is only one conclusion. Dycourse, on the other hand, is different. While one player could be the reason for why he and the other survivors have all died, another player could end up surviving long enough to be rescued. Everything depends on you, your memory, your survival skills, your choices, and more. If ten different people play this game, there’s a good chance they won’t all get the same ending. That is the beauty of this idea, and it’s not just your ordinary choice game either, it goes much further than that. Read more
