Something about the Batch stripping their armor of all it's paint. We've seen the wear on the colors, but to have it all gone is something completely new. To be stripped of individuality, to have that act of defiance taken from them. They're all losing themselves.

It's hilarious how Mace Windu is a character that's on the movies just existing, doing his own thing, minding his business but for some reason people talk about him as if he's 24/7 giving a shit about Anakin. People will go "he's jealous of Anakin" or "he hates Anakin" or "he's mean to Anakin" and then you watch the movies and the guy barely interacts with Anakin, he is just there dealing with Qui-Gon's superstitious ass, annoying politicians making his life harder, a looming war, his ex-friend turning Sith/leader of a separatist movement, a mysterious Sith ruining everyone's life. Like, that man has way too much on his plate to be on some dark evil mission of ruining Anakin's life, you guys can rest assured.

Mostly just junk collecting since he can't be on the books and showing his face is dangerous. He's doing some scrap salvage in the desert one day and his metal detector goes off.

He takes out his shovel and digs and finds a box with two lightsabers.
