pov: Ichigo comes home from another exhausting day of defeating hollows, as a loving girlfriend, you help him out with a nice warm bath!~

The scent of the strong spices of the japanese curry you’re currently cooking up lingers through the kitchen. Enjoying your time to meticulously prepare a delicous meal for Ichigo once he comes back home after a tiresome day fighting hollows and reaping souls.

However, just as you’re about to finish up plating up two bowls and add some final garnishes, a loud noise comes from the door. A familiar figure with bright orange hair slumps over the doorframe, he softly pants, his body had wounds all over and his uniform had patchy holes.

“Ichigo…?!” quickly waddling out of the kitchen, your eyes widen once you see Ichigo’s clearly distressed expression and tired body. “What happened…?!” your hands cup his cheeks, flickering your gaze at his gold, amber colored like eyes. He leans into your touch, yearning for some warmth after a long day.

“Hollows…soul reaping. All that shit.” He mumbles, Ichigo leans his head into your neck, burying his face hoping all the pain would disappear. At last, he’s at peace, spending time with his precious girlfriend, that’s all he solely cares about.

“Ichigo…I told you, be careful next time! being reckless won’t take you far y’know…” You huff as your fingers trail across his wounds marked all over his arms, but with a soft look on his face, you can’t even get mad at Ichigo.

“Alright well…I’ll go run the bath, okay? wash up quickly because I cooked some curry.” peeling your hand away from him, he suddenly stops you from doing so, clinging onto your wrist.

“Baby please, take a bath with me…I don’t wanna be alone.” Ichigo softly pleads, pressing gentle kisses against your palm trailing to your knuckles.

You chuckle, a small smile tugs at the corner of your lips, seeing him so delicate and gentle with you definitely makes your heart clench, how could you ever refuse?!

“Of course, darling…” You nod eagerly, giving him one last kiss on his lips before trailing to the bathroom to turn the tap, making sure the warm water runs.

Ichigo leans against the doorframe after some time. He slowly walks over as he wraps his arms around your waist from behind, leaning onto your shoulder. “Your wounds are still fresh…I’ll treat them after we bath, okay?” you glance over at him, before turning the tap off since the tub is now filled. Ichigo soflty hums a nod.

After both stripping your clothes off, Ichigo steps in first and lends out a hand to make sure you carefully get in. You smile at him warmly as you both submerge your bodies into the warm water. He pulls you in as your back leans against his chest, wrapping his toned arms around your waist again, making sure you’re close enough to feel his warmth.

A moment of silence passes by with occasional kisses against your neck every now and then. The sound of the water rippling adds peace to the quiet ambiance.

“Thank you…” Ichigo whispers into your ear gently, breaking the silence between you. You give him a small kiss as a gesture in reciprocation.

You both soak up in each other’s embrace, soft and gentle kisses pressed against your supple and delicate skin by Ichigo, it’s clear he missed you so much!~

“you’re so perfect for me, baby…” Ichigo inhales your scent, the sweet lingering smell of vanilla and strawberries from your shampoo you use often. You giggle, your eyes flutter at Ichigo as you turn around, now sitting in his lap, leaning into a kiss…

He leans in as well, his hot breath fanning against you, Ichigo flickers his gaze down onto your soft, coral colored lips, his thumbs circling your cherub, flushed cheeks. “I love you….” you softly whisper before pressing your lips against his. Savory but yet so passionate about the kiss you shared, it feels so warm and fuzzy inside, your heart skips a beat.

You both dry off after a while, your cheeks still red from earlier as the heat of intimacy rises, it feels like a haze of fog. You put on your simple and skimpy nightdress with a pair of fuzzy slippers, a cute and perfect combo that your beloved boyfriend never gets tired of seeing.

“okay Ichigo! sit on the couch lemme treat your wounds…” grabbing the medical kit from the bathroom, you see Ichigo already lounging around, leaning his head back against the wall. He softly hums a nod of agreement, patting the spot next to him, gesturing you to sit down beside him. You scooch closer to him as you open the medical kit with gauges and bandaids you keep in handy because well; your boyfriend is pretty reckless and often gets injured…ヽ(；▽；)

Some time passes by, tenderly and gently wrapping the bandages around his arms, torso and even the side of his leg. Finishing up with a kiss on his lips as a treat!~

“Thank you, princess…I promise to marry you and one day…you’ll be my wife.” He presses a soft kiss on your forehead, whispering into your ear as his arm rests on the side of your hip as you lean into his chest, he rubs slow circles with his thumb, soothing you to sleep.
