I'm in a real Virion mood today. Do you have any headcannons for how he'd act with Morgan as his son? Maybe Morgan speaks a little French or has a jabot? At the same time it would be funny if Morgan is genuinely surprised to find out who his dad is. Poor Morgan is immediately whisked away to be taught the rules of etiquette.

This is a really interesting request because I don't think too much about the child characters in Awakening (even though I probably should, most of them are pretty great afaik). Still, thanks for your submission! Let's see... - I can imagine that the two have spent quite a lot of time bonding over chess when Morgan was younger. It's one of their favorite father-son activities. - Another thing I can totally see them doing is speak French to confuse Robin. Virion would make sure to include the language in his etiquette training, so they work a lot on pronunciation and word choice. Whenever they speak French in Robin's presence, whether it be for practice or to say things Robin shouldn't hear, it's always a blast for Morgan to see his mom's confused face. Related to this: Robin does understand a little bit of French due to being exposed to it quite often, but speaking it herself is quite the challenge. Virion and Morgan have tried to teach her, but she struggles immensely. The two try a lot less nowadays, but Robin is secretly practicing. - Because you mentioned Morgan finding out who his dad is: I like to think that Virion either knows he's Morgan's dad and teaches him etiquette quite often while Morgan is unaware he's his father until he finds out and finally has an explanation for Virion's insistence on teaching him, OR they are both unaware, get into arguments due to their different thoughts about etiquette (Virion valueing it immensely while Morgan doesn't really care), then later find out they are father and son and have an "Oh fuck" moment. I think that'd be really funny, maybe even oneshot-worthy. I love family fluff like this. ...I'm really getting into a fluff mood just thinking about this. I hope these are alright though! Male Sun Haven residents with a s/o who has anxiety

Hi everyone, I'm back! My apologies for the lack of posts recently, I have been a bit busy with things. But now I'm back to continue the "s/o with anxiety" series! This time with the male Sun Haven residents. I hope you enjoy!

Jun

- Oh, this man knows anxiety in and out. He's a counselor after all.

- So he would do lots of breathing exercises with his partner or set up an easel and a canvas to let them paint their feelings out.

- He's very gentle about it too. If Jun finds out about the anxiety before a big attack happens, he will ask what he can do to help and build a little "support box" with his partner, so they have tools to help themselves if Jun isn't around.

Nathaniel

- Nathaniel might seem like he's clueless about mental health things, but he has supported the new recruits before and given them advice, so he's not entirely in the dark - but not an expert either.

- So when it comes to his partner, he notices the signs quite early and gets them out of the situation immediately. In Nathaniel's mind, a change of scenery is always a good thing when it comes to this stuff. He would take them to the forest or a nearby waterfall, sit down somewhere and try to talk about it.

- He is also very open to cuddling in those situations. Even if his armor isn't the most comfortable...

Wornhardt

- Wornhardt is no stranger to anxiety - he probably suffers from it himself. Even though he does a lot to prevent his own anxiety, mainly through a healthy diet, it still catches up to him sometimes. Therefore he already has a toolkit for himself, which he doesn't mind sharing with his partner.

- This toolkit is very big - from scented candles and herbs to stress toys and candy, Wornhardt has it all. If he's at home, he'll let his partner play with Charlie while he makes some nice herbal tea for the both of them.

- Then, once the tea is done, it's time for cuddling. Lots and lots of gentle touch and comforting words. Wornhardt can be incredibly gentle and soft, but it's a side he only really shows in private. On top of this, he only really allows himself to be silly with his partner - tickling and pillow fights are rare occasions, but they do happen.

Liam

- Liam suffers with his partner, period. Having to run the bakery and take care of his sisters at the same time is a lot of stress, so he's glad to have his partner around - even if they get overwhelmed sometimes too.

- When both of them are feeling under the weather, Liam will invite his s/o to bake with him. Not for the bakery per se, but just for themselves. He'll close the bakery for the day and spend the morning baking with them and goofing around a little bit.

- Then, in the afternoon or evening, Liam will take his partner and his sisters out to a field for a picnic with the baked goods. He loves seeing his sisters run around the field and enjoys spending time with his partner in this relaxing environment.

Claude

- Claude is mostly alone and completely fine with that, but it would be a lie to say that he never feels unwell mentally. Though, with anxiety in particular, his experience is very limited.

- So when he notices his partner feeling under the weather, he will invite them to listen to him play some music or put on one of his favorite records.

- He will even go down to Liam's bakery and buy some sweets for his partner. Yes, he would willingly go out and talk to people. As long as it isn't too far away from his mansion of course...

RF5 girls with a S/O who has anxiety

Hi there! I am back with another RF5 post, this time with the bachelorettes! I hope you like it!

Priscilla

- Oh, she knows the feeling all too well...so she would try to help her partner with the things she usually does: breathing exercises and calming herbal tea

- She would give them a blanket, but only cuddle with them if requested

- All in all, she'd really pamper them and answer any request they might have

Lucy

- Lucy believes more in prevention measures, so it doesn't even come to an anxiety attack

- This means she'd encourage her partner to regularly exercise, eat well and try to shift their mindset to a more positive one; if they take medication, she will make sure they take them, even if it means getting up at 2am and bothering her partner until they get up and take it

- Still, these prevention measures don't always work because anxiety is just like that, so if it comes down to her s/o getting anxious at some point, she would instruct them on breathing exercises she picked up from Priscilla or try to distract them somehow; whether that means sitting at a pond and fishing or going for a walk/run

Beatrice

- She probably has experience with anxiety, being a princess on a secret mission and all, so she would try to calm her s/o with very gentle measures

- First of all, she'd tell them comforting things, rub their back, make sure they're alright and get them into a comfortable position

- Then she would light scented candles (or if the flame makes her partner anxious, just give an unlighted one to smell), if this isn't the first time, she probably stocked up on candles in her partner's favorite scent: lavender, vanilla, a mix of different citrus fruits, you name it; she'll get whatever scent they prefer, no matter how obscure it is (if they have no idea what they would like, she does a smell test with them to find out which ones they'd prefer), if it's a really specific thing they like, she might try to make it herself

- Then she would put on some relaxing music, probably classical, and either start to dance and offer her partner to join, or sit down with them and press some flowers/fill a scrapbook together; she has lots of different scrapbook materials from her travels with Reinhard, so she wants to put them to good use - making her partner happy

Scarlett

- When it comes to her partner, Scarlett can be very gentle and caring - even if she might not know how to show it

- So when she notices her partner's anxiety, she would not take control of the situation; she'd offer things to do about it and give them a choice (so *they* have the control), but she wouldn't force them to do anything in fear of doing something that might worsen it - something that has happened to her before while she was dealing with her own anxiety (she probably takes medication for it now)

- Things she would offer would be: braiding or playing with her hair (she has a secret box of hair accessories), her s/o writing down their thoughts in a calming journaling session (maybe while they sit on her lap and she plays with their hair) or going cloudwatching/stargazing

Fuuka

- Fuuka can sense incoming anxiety pretty early, so she would try to cuddle with her partner before it can get any worse

- She's very physical about it and would try to crawl on their lap to give them some weight on their body to ground with; she'd let them touch her behind her ears and play with her hair and tail

- If it does get worse however and the anxiety fully sets in, she would caress their cheeks, give them forehead and cheek kisses, hold their hands and so on; Fuuka is very forward with these things, but she would get her partner to a safe and more quiet space first if they need it - PDA might not be the best in that kind of situation after all

Ludmila

- She knows all about it - breathing exercises, physical sensations, distractions - so she would do whatever they need to calm down; if she learns about the anxiety beforehand, she will ask about every little thing she can and can't do if the situation arises; she wants to make sure they know she's a safe person and can help them deal with it

- If her partner is up for it, she would take them to a flower field and relax there; touching all the flowers and their leaves, feeling the wind run through their fingers, embrace Ludmila in the middle of this natural beauty while she says comforting things...it would truly feel like paradise to them

- Ludmila doesn't mind how much time they spend there; as long as her s/o can relax and breathe freely again, that's all that matters to her

I wrote these today as comfort thoughts because I have a few big things coming up soon,, I hope you enjoy!

Ryker

- He knows that mental health just sucks sometimes; therefore he takes good care of his partner and tries to make them feel as secure as possible with him

- Maybe he built some fidget toys for his s/o, just because he wants to help them manage their symptoms

- He cares so much and will remind them of that fact frequently

Martin

- He doesn't quite know how to handle anxiety attacks, but he tries his best

- Instead of saying comforting things, he offers warmth through cuddles and maybe making funny faces

- He wants to distract them as much as possible

Cecil

- Again, no idea about anxiety, but he will try his best

- He'll ask what to do because he genuinely has no clue, he always has pen and paper on him if his partner goes non-verbal so they can still communicate

- No matter what his partner asks for, he will (try to) do it, no exceptions

Murakumo

- He offers to give his partner a massage or takes their hand to lead them to the spa/hot springs to take a dip, he's surprisingly gentle about it

- Probably gives them a handmade fidget toy to focus on

- Generally very focused on senses and physical sensations to help them ground

Lucas

- First thing he does when he notices their anxiety: he will gently tell his partner comforting things and make sure they know he's there for them

- Dude probably has tarot cards on him all the time, so he takes them out and asks his partner to describe them with him, pointing out every little detail

- If requested, he'll hold them and let them touch his hair

Reinhard

- He'll try to hold them first thing, thinking that this was caused by someone else

- When he finds out it's anxiety, he'll comfort his partner to the best of his ability, mainly by cuddling up in bed with a cup of tea and a storybook he reads to them

- While he does worry about Beatrice, he knows that she would understand; his partner is a big priority of his after all

No problem! Truthfully, I have limited knowledge on these two characters, but I will try my best to answer anyway!

Darius

- He seems like the kind of guy to have a really cute hobby that he hides from everyone. Maybe baking?

- Another thing I can totally see him doing is collect comics and figurines of his favorite characters from said comics. He is very passionate about his collection and only lets his partner see it.

- On top of this, he would be really dramatic about it too because he's worried it might be a deal breaker for his partner. He'd be like "Before we get married, there's something you need to know about me..."

- And when his partner finds out, they find it super endearing and it makes them love him even more.

- Can you tell I like thinking of characters like him with a soft core?

Donovan

- He may be a Wolf Amari, but he totally gives me excited puppy vibes

- I like to think he occasionally leaves flowers or other cool stuff he found in the wild on people's doorsteps. Mainly the farmer's though, simply because they can keep up with his shenanigans and energy.

- The stuff he leaves there ranges from flowers and pebbles to random junk or defeated monsters. He just finds it all so interesting!!!

- He can ramble for hours on end about his adventures and the stuff he saw out there.

- Oh, and he could sometimes help Jun with the counseling session for the younger kids. They are far more excited when Donovan is there. They would also learn consent because Jun would tell them to ask before they touch his tail and ears. We love consent in this household!

I hope these are good enough! Again, I have limited knowledge on these characters because I never went for them in my Sun Haven playthrough, but I do hope that these are in-character!

(VNC) Beach Headcanons

Here we are! I got caught up on the new VNC chapters and I am SO glad we are back in the present time. As much as I like lore and flashback chapters, I wanted to see Vanitas and Noé again. Either way, I hope you enjoy this set of headcanons. Also, spoilers for everyone who hasn't caught up with the manga yet! ~~~ Vanitas With all the scars on his body, Vanitas is highly uncomfortable with regular swimwear. Instead, he pulls up to the beach in shorts and a basic t-shirt or button-up shirt. The guy doesn't like the heat at all, so he spends most of his time in the shade or at the cocktail bar, complaining about the hot weather. Maybe he collects a few shells or goes knee-deep into the water (after some convincing from Jeanne), but other than that, he spends his time in a more relaxed way. ...unless someone brings water guns with them, in which case, there's a war and no one can stop him. Noé

Noé probably got dragged to the beach by Domi. Now that they're there though, he's really enjoying it. Splashing around in the water, taking a few breaks here and there to check on the others and drink something...maybe he lets Luca bury him in the sand. Noé is just like an excited puppy: he runs around, swims really far away, then comes back and shows the others the cool stuff he found in the sea or at the beach. Domi finds it adorable. He would have so much fun with a water gun. The first use of it would be to annoy Vanitas and get him out of the shade. Domi She is rocking some really fancy swimwear. Even though she mostly sits at the bar, she will stand up and check out the cool crab Noé found on the other side of the beach, or go and collect some shells with Jeanne. Maybe she tries to build sandcastles with Luca, but fails miserably. She'd definitely help him with burying Noé in the sand though. Most people at the beach are amazed at her outfit, so they offer to buy her drinks. Vanitas, who sits right next to her at the bar, takes advantage of that. The two end up talking and bonding over some nice cocktails. If there were water guns present at the scene, she would be the one bringing them there or be the one who gets surprise-attacked and is out for revenge. Jeanne Similar to Noé, Jeanne gets super excited and rushes around the whole place. Domi went swimsuit shopping with her before this, so she wears a really cute one. She helps Luca with sandcastles and burying Noé, always keeping an eye on him to make sure he's fine. But that doesn't stop her from having fun too! She might go into the water with Domi and splash it on her. After some convincing, Vanitas joins them. DO NOT give her a water gun. She will take it way too seriously. ~~~ This was fun to write!
