Vividness of Visual Imagery

This might be a misconception: from listening to people talking on the topic, it seems like people with NeSi generally experience less vivid visual imagery in their mind's eye than those with SiNe. People with SeNi and NiSe in their top four functions generally seem to experience a good degree of vivid visual imagery.

Also, here is an interesting conversation on aphantasia and how it applies to chess players. The world's #1 chess player (ESTJ) has also discussed how he visualizes the board.

* I got phantasia as a result. If I visualize a chess board, I see it and the pieces in 3D and in colour. The vividness of the detail in the imagery is probably a bit less than what it might be in real life. This is generally the case and why I did not select the answers in the questionnaire that related to hyperphantasia.
