WIP! The process of Intaglio. First, draw the thing. Second, trace the thing on tracing paper. Third, trace the thing again onto the copper ro transfer it. Fourth, scratch into the copper with your tool to indicate where is going to be etched. Finally, etch the copper in an acid solution. This picture is just the first two steps. New t project.... INTAGLIO!!! This is the one I've been waiting for. If you don't know what it is, it is basically drawing into this wax coating on a copper plate and then using acid to etch the design you create. When you print this, you don't have to worry about your print being the negative, because whatever you draw will be the colored lines!
