"Sounds perfect," Cissie replies. "I can turn my back while you change." She's not going to try anything. Afterall, she respects Tim too much for that. "I think I still have a change of civvies for you in there too." After gesturing toward the closet, she pulls Tim in for a quick hug before turning away to give him some privacy.

"I know a little pizza shop here with the best plain pizza which means all the topped pizzas taste awesome too. Does that sound good?" She hasn't missed that Tim didn't pick up on her flirting earlier. Or maybe he did and just isn't interested. Either way, she's not going to bring it up. She's just happy to have her friend around again.

"You sound exhausted." Blunt as ever though to his credit, he did wince to himself as soon as the words left his mouth. "Are you doing okay?"

She sounded... rough. His guess was either sickness or she'd been crying recently. Whatever the case, this was his friend and he was ready to help.

"Tim, last time I was just so blinded by rage and vengeance that I lost sight of me and what we all were trying to do. I don't want to find myself like that again." She sighs and closes her eyes to collect her thoughts.

"You're probably right. More thinking on it. Tim? Thanks. I knew you were the right person to talk to about this." She smiles a little shyly and places a hand on Tim's arm. "Now, no more gloomy talk. Wanna grab some pizza?"

"Well, part of it is that I think I've grown. I can't say that I'd never be tempted to go dark like that again, but now I know what I'm capable of. I know the warning signs. And so do you. Not just you though. All of you." She sighs softly. "I know it would be a lot to ask you to look out for the signs and stop me if I step too close to that line." She trails off and swallows.

"It might also have to do with the fact that I stopped a near kidnapping the other day and that rush... I didn't realize how much I'd been missing it until then." A short laugh escapes her. "I sound like an addict."

Tim's arm around her is comforting and it brings a smile to her lips. "Might be a bit tired, but I don't wanna fall asleep when I finally feel comfortable again. Whole even." Her voice is barely a whisper, this conversation is just for the two of them.

Her admission that she feels something has been missing in her life since she left the superhero life behind is not something she'd tell just anyone. It goes to how much she trusts Tim and values his presence in her life. She rests one of her hands on his around her waist. "It's been hard being away from all of you."

Cissie knows it's a big decision. She knows it's not something she can just decide on a whim, but she has been thinking about it for a while now. There's another sigh from her. "You're going to think it's dumb. Heck, I even think it's dumb." She pauses.

"Alright. I'm sick of watching others walk into danger and that meaning that maybe my friends don't come back. What if I could do something to prevent that? What if I could do something good? What if I could make a difference, and I didn't?" She knows that's not a good enough reason, but she wants it to be. "I could, no, should be helping any way I can and I'm not. I'm sat here like a lump letting my friends take the risks."

Cissie sighs and nuzzles his shoulder. "I think we all understand, Tim," Her voice is equally soft so as not to annoy the others. "You went through a big loss. It's okay to take time to grieve and get things in order." As much as she argues with her mom, she doesn't know what she'd do without her. The thought has her worrying her bottom lip. It's a nervous habit she has and hasn't ever really gotten rid of.

"I... I guess I am." She sighs soflty and Tim can probably hear her open a water bottle and take a sip. "Just another fight with Mom," She explains and then takes a shaky breath. "I'm... I've been thinking about maybe picking up the bow again... in a vigilante way." It's hard for her to admit. She knows she's at risk of going dark, but she's so tired of watching her friends risk their lives, knowing she can help.

Tim's phone rings. The name that appears on the screen is Cissie.

Oh hey! Cissie's calling! He hasn't heard from her in a while! "Hey Cissie, how's everything? You doing okay? You need something?"

“No no, I meant a roll in addition to the Nigiri. I know they’re different. Just didn’t know what it was called.” She smiles at him as she moves with him as they head out the door. “How far is this place?” She has no problem walking, but she’s curious. 

Date Night

She can’t stop the sweet smile that pulls the corners of her lips up. “One roll and a small variety sushi order shared. The kind with the fish or whatever on top of the rice.” She’s still gonna take home a lot of leftovers, but she’s okay with that. Sharing food seems right. It’s a true part of a date in her mind. “And I like the idea of sharing the Hibachi orders.” She leans over and gives him a quick kiss on the cheek. “Good idea.”

“Well, the Nigiri variety of sushi doesn’t really come as a roll per se, but we’ll get an order… Come on, enough talking about food, I’m starving.” Tim tugs at the blonde’s hand starting to head for the door. “You’ve got everything you need, right?”

But she’d either go home with a ton of leftovers, or they can be cute while out on their date and share a plate.

She doesn’t want to pick anything that could leave either of them with bad breath just in case they end up kissing. “Um,” She clearly looks a bit panicked now. “Maybe you should pick. I’m okay with anything really.”

“Might sound kinda gross, but if there was such a concept as sushi pizza, life would be made… How about he go to one of those hibachi grill places? Dinner and a show, we can start things off with the sushi?” She said that she didn’t want to pick, but he still wanted to see how she felt about it.
