Making sure all the ingredients and their workers are under a safe and good work ethic environment. 

The whole purpose for Dari Rumah is to share the awareness of paying more attention into making better decisions into what they're buying while they're still living in the world we all live in. Becoming more aware of the source of products and where it might lead to after using them (The ocean and landfill). Whether it affects the environment6 or damages it, Dari Rumah prioritizes their brand to ensure them (their target market) that their products won't harm the earth. Because what we choose to take or give out to the world, starts from each and everyone4 of us, as humans.

Enya Blanco on dry skin type and make up removal

Enya Blanco is an influencer based in Bali Indonesia with a large number of followers’ of 149K. She is known for her bakery Cloud Cakes as well as her beauty and high-quality photos. She endorses goods and services from online shops and other businesses every day and her content is very aesthetic.

InnBeau was fortunate enough to interview Enya Blanco with her skin care tips on makeup removal and her everyday cleansing products.

What is your type of facial skin?

“My skin is super dry, super sensitive, I have atopic dermatitis and perioral dermatitis”. What is your recommended face wash for your specific skin type?

“I use the Avene Xeracalm AD lipid replenishing cleansing oil”

What is your method of removing makeup after a long day? And what products do you use to remove makeup?

- I clean my makeup with any makeup removal. - Then I wash my face with a cleansing gel from Corine de farme - then I wash my face with Avene Xeracalm AD Lipid replenishing cleansing oil - Then I use a toner ( Somebymi AHABHA toner ) to prep my face before other serums

The products Enya uses for cleansing her face is the Avenue Xeracalm AD Lipid replenishing cleansing oil which is a highly recommended products to remove any waterproof makeup and leaves the skin feeling moist. The cleansing oil can be found at any pharmacy like Priceline or Chemist Warehouse. The product costs about $35 AUD and it is totally worth it!

The cleansing gel Corine de farme is a product popular within Asian skin types. The product is a Micellar based product and it can be purchased online since it is exclusive to limited countries since they are based in France.

Hopefully, if you have the same skin condition (dry skin) as she does, especially in this dry season in Australia. These products will help you achieve that soft skin results.

Sun damage to the skin Just a quick science lesson to avoid skin damage caused by the sun. Feeling under the warmth of the sun can feel nice but did you know how damaging it can be to our skin without understanding how the little bit of care with some protection will save you from premature wrinkles? Obviously, that would be a nightmare and it isn’t easy to recover from. SPF is always essential for our skin which why we should always wear the sun protection factor of 30 or above to protect the skin from harsh sun rays. It’s always a good idea to be prepared and keep a mini SPF in our make up bag just in case we need it. The damages of the sun can include dry skin, sunburn, actinic keratosis and long-term changes to the skin’s collagen. The dry skin will result in a loss of moisture and natural essential oils from the body. This will make the skin appear flaky, premature wrinkles which is common amongst young people. Yikes! Sunburn is the most common injury for the skin which can appear instantly after being exposed to the sun without a layer of protection. It’s very painful and will turn the skin into a reddish shade. Actinic Keratosis may sound unfamiliar to you, but actually, it’s also a common sun-damaged skin that can appear as small bumps and possibly lead to skin peeling. Long-term changes in the skin’s collagen include fine lines, wrinkles, thickened skin texture and bruising on the areas which are exposed to the skin. Some of these symptoms can result in a permanent change in our skin. All of these damages are a concern in our skin which is why it is always reminded that we should all keep an SPF in our routine!
