Me looking longingly at my basket of unfinished crochet projects computer full of steam games and shelves full of books unmotivated to touch anything
You ever have that "hungry but nauseous" feeling about activities? Like you really really want to do something and you've got plenty of fun hobbies and things you could pick from but all of the options turn your stomach so you're just laying there bored and angry about it.

Inktober Day #3 - [Lazy Morning] Zim has a habit of stealing Dib’s socks, which is pointless because they don’t even fit him but he still does it anyway simply because they belong to the Dib.

Book quote
(Ruby's) mom said once that education was a privilege not afforded to everyone, but she was wrong—it wasn’t a privilege. It was our right. We had the right to a future.
if the home in my heart was supposed to be the place where’d I’d been born, or if it was the place that was raising me. If I got to choose it, or if it had somehow already claimed me.
That girl was gone forever, and all that was left was a product of the place that had taught her to fear the bright things inside of her heart.
My thoughts and a brief summary
This was a really cool book about kids who are being born with a mutation that either calls them to die when they were 10 to 15 or give them extra abilities these extra abilities arranged from five categories blues who could move things with their mind greens who were incredibly smart yellows who controlled electricity reds who controlled fire and finally oranges who had the ability to manipulate people's brains these kids were immediately deemed too dangerous for society and sent to a camp a lot of us on Tumblr know that camp is a magic word for bad place this book follows Ruby a 16 year old girl on her breakout out of this camp it is a fantastic book and I cannot recommend it enough
I did find myself experiencing regular existential crisis wondering if perhaps life the gift of existing was worth the price we would pay if knowing we would one day die that part was not my favorite but the book was still good and I would still recommend it to anybody who can handle it
