This is my Damian

People who have an odd fixation on Damian being pale and blue eyed weird me out.

1. While I've seen people say things like "Damian is a Bruce clone" no comic has ever stated that Damian is a literal clone of Bruce, he's 50% Talia and no comic has ever stated otherwise

2. Yes, he got introduced as white with blue eyes...during an era in which Talia's darker "ethnic" features got dialed up because "she was exotic and EVIL!". We have comics with a very white Damian talking with a very brown Talia, it does not matter if Talia was often drawn whiter before DC decided to butcher her.

3. Funny how Damian also got drawn with darker skin when DC planned to turn him into a villain a few years later.

And even if we ignore all the debates around DC and racism, do we seriously need a 4th pale boy with blue eyes as Robin? It's already hard enough to tell them apart when they are out of costume and once they reach a certain age telling them apart only by height becomes very stupid.

I think he was conceived out of love. But my headcanon is Talia almost suffered a miscarriage or was at risk for one. And in the league, having magic and infinite resources, scientists and doctors, she took the decision to complete Damian’s development in an artificial uterus, to ensure his survival and for her own health.

Talia Al Ghul loves her son. She wants him to be happy, she wants him to survive!

For him to do that, she makes hard decisions. She allows him to train under her father. She pushes him like she was pushed.

So he is strong enough to live.

Talia also makes mistakes. She can be cold, she can be cruel. She is a traumatised woman who breaks some cycles but perpetuates others.

She loves her son, and sometimes she does not do it well.

But her darling son, who is a hero, who is so much like her sometimes she can't bear it. Who loves the world and decides it deserves saving. He forgives her and loves her anyway.

Please don’t kill me, because I’m just trying to educate myself. And I will commit to it. But I don’t know a lot about ChatGPT. It is really bad? And why? I’ll admit I use it for study. I started using it this year. I don’t use it to do my research papers, or any essays. I used mostly to asked me questions in the format of an exam when I’m close to my exams, after I studied the classes. I’m a med student (in my country) and we are graded from 0-100. I used to get 80 marks but now, thanks to it, I get 95 because getting questions helps me increase my knowledge and understanding of the topics. So, it is bad? Should I stop?
