The only Dex redemption I'll accept is Dex teaming up with the fbi agents who took the fall instead of Fisk and saving Foggy to bring down the criminal empire in a huge epic sting revenge operation

And Matt tearfully says "wow, thanks Dex" as he hugs a still alive Foggy

...and then Matt throws Dex's ass back into prison for the murders of Ray Nadeem, Father Paul Lantom, and 10 people at Josie's bar.

yknow, the reason foggy doesnt want matt to be daredevil is less that he disagrees with vigilantes, and more because its dangerous.

its not just that he thinks the law is generally a better way helping people than daredevil (and whether or not thats actually true is largely irrelevant here- its still what foggy thinks). even when he starts seeing the good that vigilantism can do, he still wants matt to give is up, because he doesnt want him to die!

maybe thats selfish of him, but considering that he learned matts identity in the worst possible way by finding him half dead? its also an extremely justified fear. yes, he was angry and hurtful during the nelson v murdock fight, and neither of them were really listening to each other. neither foggy (or matt) were completely "right" there. but foggy was motivated by worry for matt more than anything else.

matt may be willing to give his life for his city, but its another thing to ask foggy to be okay with sacrificing his best friend to something hes not even convinced will help. its not that he hates vigilantes, its that he loves matt.

"Nice characters are boring" to YOU. I love characters who no matter what, will always have genuine love for humanity in their heart. Characters who dance and laugh and sing with sincerity. Characters who believe in others, and are willing to extend a helping hand to people when no one gave them the same luxury. Characters who have gone through so much but believe, no matter what, that humanity and life is something beautiful and worth protecting

one of my favorite things about matt and foggy is that you dont even need to view them in a romantic manner to know that they love each other. whether you view their relationship as strictly platonic or not you can still agree that theyre soulmates and they were made for each other and they care about each other in the deepest way possible. and i think thats so beautiful

the biggest piece of propaganda i'm not falling for in 2025 is that Foggy Nelson is dead

So Foggy's scenes are: he's not sitting with his friends at the bar and they make fun of his flirting attempts, Matt gets mad at him for hiding something, he says something else that Matt gets upset by and walks off in a huff, and then he dies without even getting to see Matt one more time.

The audience then has to relive that dying moment with Matt episode after episode via picture totem and flashback, while Matt won't even say Foggy's name. And at one point it's implied Matt hears his voice, yet the show never addresses or portrays that at any point afterwards. And then when Matt finally gives in to his own temptations he simply says "Fuck it" and abandons the picture on the table

and we never see it again

not even when Matt goes hunting for answers about a case that apparently no one, neither Matt nor Karen, decided to dig even a little bit further into, they just took the police detectives word for it. They didn't even review or resolve the Benny case that got left behind in the aftermath.

But don't worry, they figure it all out after seeing one piece of paper and then bond over a Foggy-related item we the audience have never even seen before!

And then finally Karen reassures Matt that yes, Foggy loved all of him, and not even a single visual or auditory reference is given as a signal of closure. Not for Matt, not for the audience. Just dangling threads that are dropped the second they aren't relevant anymore and that I'm told over and over don't mean anything.

For the curious (based on the number Daniel gave Fisk) Angela lost at least half of the blood in her body, and Matt was still able to revive her and get her to a hospital. That is something that fully happened in the show. It is a situation the world of the show has presented as a thing that can happen.

Just something to know. Y'know, just in case there was another person in the show who also lost a ton of blood and their heart stopped and they had actual medical professionals and emergency transport at their side within minutes.

I read the Reddit thread and I'm glad to know that most fans, initially, aren't happy about the "Foggy is no more" and care about him enough to realize that "Born Again" did Foggy so dirty, as if he wasn't part of the main cast. They made him bleed like a dog and his little scenes didn't do him justice.

And I am with them when they say there's no Murdock without Nelson. The show is dead without Foggy.

Even if they try to give other characters Foggy's lines, quirks, and backstory.

If Foggy really is dead, I can't see a future for Daredevil. Which is a shame, but at least it shows that some fans know more about Daredevil than the new creative team do.

I hope Foggy is just alive.

you know what angers me more than killing foggy to move the plot forward is that they mention him literally in every episode thinking that this will be enough for us, that this will smooth things over. disgusting move
