WIP: Galactic Boom!

As we started to develop a long term project with Citizen, we also need to give you some good fun until we’re done, right?

We started wondering about what kind of game we could develop and we came to only conclusion possible: We miss Galaga!

So, coming soon, we gonna release a good ol’ space arcade shooter with all the elements that made them fun. #Nostalgia

WIP: Citizen

Here we go my friend, we started our first long term project: Citizen.

But to sum up a little:

Expected features:

Needs system: Your character gonna have needs you gonna need to fulfill. Hunger, Thirst, Hygiene, Sleep, Fun and distraction, Social interaction, Intimacy are some of those.

Living character: Your avatar gonna be a fully living character. Health is not the only parameter you gonna have to keep in mind. You gonna have Endurance, Moral and overhaul wellness to take into account.

Living NPC’s: NPC’s are not just gonna be props moving around. They gonna have feelings, needs, emotions etc … Not one npc gonna react the same way as the other to a same event, or your behavior. You gonna have to get to know the people around you.

Customizable character: You avatar gonna be fully customizable and your gonna be free to install and use your own content such as clothes or accessories. The character creation also gonna include character background and constitution values such as Strengh, Endurance, Intellect etc …

Find a home: Multiple houses and appartements are gonna be available for your character to rent or buy, and call it home. Each coming with customization option to make the ambiance fit your desire.

Have a family: Yes, your character gonna be able to get married, have childrens. Once your main character die, you gonna be able to choose to continue the game, selecting one of your children to become your new main character.

Fame system: You gonna able to manage your fame using in world social networks and/or all the other tools at your disposal.

Politic, communities, associations and religions: The game also gonna include all the social aspect of the human being. Decide how much you wanna influence what is happening in the city and use the tools you desire. It can be politic, volunteering in an association or preach at your local church.

Econnomical system: A city can’t live without an econnomy. You gonna have to earn money to pay your bills, taxes, buy food or go in vacations.

Health system: The universe gonna included a full health system, including diseases, conditions, injuries and much more.

Career system: No one ever live without earning his pay. You gonna have bills to pay, so you gonna need a job. Various jobs can go from pizza delivery, doctor, waitress etc … You gonna be able to decide to open your own business or become an independant. Even running for the mayor office, why not?

Public services: The town gonna include full public services such as a police dept, fire dept, a clinic, a city hall, courthouse, jail etc … All of those coming with available careers such as cop, fireman, attorney etc …

Change the city: If you choose to run for the mayor office and find yourself duly elected. A new features gonna allow you to choose and change the various public services present in the city, change the businesses present in the city, decide about the application of the laws etc …

Criminal and juridic system: You can choose a more dark life style, becoming a drug dealer, robber, using racket, create your own gang or join one etc … But if you do, expect consequences. Cops are not gonna forget you anytime soon if you break the law. If they caught you, you gonna be incarcerated and duly prossecuted. You’re a cop? You gonna have to fight and work hard to bring security to the city.

Season system: The environement gonna be fully following seasons, you gonna need to keep your character fresh during summer, warm and cozy during winter.

Full mod support: Every aspect of the game gonna be fully cutomizable via a dedicated menu ingame, giving you full control over our roleplay framework.
