a/n: let’s all ignore my sporadic nonexistent updates and revel that I actually got one finished! it’s a smidge angsty, but I hope you enjoy :)

Todoroki Shoto:

oh boy

what does he do?

he had noticed that you were always working when he walked by, but he didn’t think much of it because that’s just how you normally were

and he admired that side of you a lot

but when he found you slumped in the floor of the common room, a glass of water spilled beside you, his brain went into overdrive, heart slamming in his chest

honestly, he thought the worst

once he checked and found you still breathing, though, he sagged in relief

picked you up and almost sprinted to the nurse’s office

when she told him that you would be fine and that it was just due to exhaustion, he dropped into the chair beside you, taking your hand in his

how had he not noticed you were not feeling well?

the guilt ate at him for a while, but he vowed to be more observant to your health, so he did his best to brush it off

when you finally woke up, he was gazing out the window, hand still clasped tightly around yours

“todo?”

his eyes snapped to yours, surprised, and relieved

“you’re finally awake.”

looking confused, you nodded

“you’ve been asleep for five hours.”

“what?!”

he nodded solemnly, pausing

“please tell me when you’re not feeling well. you really scared me when I found you.”

he stuck by your side like glue for the rest of the day, only leaving to grab snacks

frequently checks in on you to make sure you’re still feeling okay

best boy

Bakugou Katsuki:

the most worried he’s ever felt probably

he definitely noticed something up when he saw the almost black dark circles under your eyes at lunch that day

but when you crashed into mina because you couldn’t physically hold yourself up anymore, he decided something needed to be done

wrapped an arm around you to support you before immediately taking you to the nurse’s office

hardly said anything the entire time she was doing her examination

when she confirmed his suspicions, he just closed his eyes and lowered his head

“bakugou?”

“don’t do shit like this again.”

you were surprised

“what?”

his eyes were fierce when he looked back at you

“I understand the need to push yourself, but if you’re not healthy, how are you going to fight properly?”

he paused as he looked away

“I can’t see you get hurt.”

oh, oh

that’s why he was so quiet

he was scared about something happening to you

vowing to pay more attention to yourself, he helped you back to the dorms

went back to classes so he could take notes for you

made you a healthy dinner, telling you to stay in bed so you could rest

hovered near you for a few days afterwards to make sure you didn’t almost pass out again

would also help you out if he ever saw you get swamped with work

he grumbled about it, but you knew better

Uraraka Ochako:

so so worried

she recognized you were tired, and asked you about it

but when you told her you were okay, she reluctantly believed you

she realized that wasn’t the case when you and some of your friends were out shopping

you slumped against jirou when you were sitting outside of a shop, seemingly asleep

both girls panicked when they couldn’t wake you up, though

after explaining to the others what was happening, they opted to take you to the hospital, just in case

there weren’t any villains around as far as anybody could see, but one could never be too sure

she only let go to let the doctor check you, hovering nearby to keep watch

after finding out what the problem was, she sat by your bed and waited for you to wake up

the others waited for a while before deciding to go back to the dorm, saying they were going to cozy it up and get food so when you got back, you could all relax together

when you do wake up, she softly lectures you on taking care of yourself; or at least to be more aware of how you’re feeling

she hated to see you so tired, and just wants you to be healthy

“I love you, so much. I hate seeing you in pain, so please be more aware, if not for me, for yourself, so that you can be healthy.”

helps you home, being careful not to touch you completely so she didn’t set off her quirk

you look ill enough as it is

when you got back, there was food waiting, as well as your favorite movie on in the common room

everybody spent the rest of the night crowded together on the couches and floor, making sure you got your rest

she sat pressed against you, head on your shoulder and pinkies linked together as you both dozed off on the floor

Izuku Midoriya:

panicked™

you were in the middle of a fight

it was probably the worst moment to realize that you had made some poor life choices 

he freaked out when he saw you collapse 

he was too far away to get to you, and was involved in his own fight

thankfully todoroki also saw, and was by you in a second, finishing the fight you were in with the villain

as soon as he could, he sprinted over to you, eyes blurry with tears

if something serious had happened to you...

he doesn’t know what he would do

he crouched next to you, assessing you enough to know that you still had a pulse

other than a few minor scratches and bruises, you didn’t seem to have anything visible physically that would’ve caused you to collapse so suddenly

he made sure you got to an ambulance that had arrived on the scene

held your hand the entire time they checked you over

you had woken up from all the poking and prodding, asking what was going on

“y/n! you scared me so bad. are you okay?”

“I think so?”

when you were told that it was due to exhaustion, he looked at you with worry

he felt guilty that he hadn’t noticed anything wrong with you, but was also a little upset that you weren’t taking care of yourself

“please please please be more careful. come to me if you have too much on your plate. I’ll help you, okay?”

when you get somewhere safe and cleaned up, he cuddles up to you, insisting that you get some well deserved sleep

trusts you, but still keeps an extra eye on you during fights after this

hot days ~ hcs

a/n: I'm alive!! I have been sooo bad at keeping a writing schedule 

∫ summary: how you and the boys spend a hot, sunny day

∫ pairings: todoroki x reader, bakugou x reader, kirishima x reader, midoriya x reader

∫ warnings: none

Shoto Todoroki:

you both love to take walks when the weather is nice out

as you’re walking, you gravitate closer towards his right side, because if you got close to his left side in the summer, it would mean a heat stroke

thankfully he keeps the heat to a minimum

once he notices you shuffling closer, he realizes that you’re sweating, obviously very warm

his arm cautiously wraps around your waist and he cools down his body a little more so you’ll cool down as well

your sigh of relief makes him smile a little

occasionally he would glance down at you to admire your features

 when he saw you looking at a flower he steered you in that direction, picking it gently, and then placing it behind your ear

were you blushing or was it just the heat?

as you resumed your walk, you guys talk about different things

though sometimes it was not the most relevant things

“todo, why do penguins have knees?”

“...they have knees?”

yeah...like I said, not always relevant; however, these are important questions to address

especially on a date

Bakugou Katsuki:

angry boy is dangerous in the heat

so you both tend to stay inside a well air conditioned place so there is less likely of a chance of something blowing up

sometimes, usually early morning or late afternoon when it isn’t so hot, you guys would go for a hike

this usually ended up with bakugou way ahead of you while you stopped every other minute to admire the scenery

he wants to be mad, really

but your excited face as you admire a flower or the view around you is the cutest, so how could he be too mad?

he does have to backtrack and pull you along sometimes though

“hey! we’re not even five minutes in! stop stopping!”

“c’mon! these plants are really cute!”

“no, let’s go.”

so impatient

you guys help each other out on any tricky parts of the trail

it’s more like you cling onto him in fear of falling off the side of the mountain

but you would like to keep some dignity so we’ll just say it’s a team effort

once you get to the end of the trail, you both will just sit down and eat some food in silence, observing the things around you

bakugou won’t admit it, but these are some of his favorite days

Kirishima Eijiro:

hot day? water time

you guys end up any where with water when it’s hot out

today was a beach day

kiri pulled you along as you checked out the different food and drink stalls down the beach

he even rented two boogie boards

and then proceeded to demonstrate the wrong way to use them

trying to stand up on it like it was a surfboard and then wiping out 

you tried your best to help him through the tears you were crying from laughing so hard

“kiri! that is not how that works!”

“what do you mean babe? it’ll work eventually!”

“kiri no!”

injuries aside, he loves to hold your hand, swinging it back and forth as you walk down the beach together

usually you’re out until late at night because you didn’t want the day to end

summer days are always the best with kiri

Midoriya Izuku:

it’s always something different with midoriya

sometimes you’ll go for a swim

sometimes you just chill at home and watch a movie

today was a day where you guys were out shopping for clothes since midoriya had torn through five of his shirts in the past two months due to his intensive workouts and random villain attacks 

since it was so hot out, you decided to get shaved iced to cool down a little

walking to the food court, you and midoriya were laughing at some silly advertisement that you had read at one of the stores

your hands were intertwined as you walked, bags in your free hands

once you were sitting down on a bench with your ice, you immediately dug in

it was a few seconds later that you noticed midoriya looking at you with a smile

“what?”

“nothing. i just love you.”

queue you almost spitting out your ice

what happened to shy midoriya 

smiling slightly, you glanced away

“i love you too.”

This is such a coincidence, but I’ve been looking for the scene of yona of the dawn in your header for a while now lol! Do you happen to know what episode it is where shinah beats up those warriors? I remember it was a flashforward scene from one of the first episodes...

I can’t remember exactly what episode it was but I know it was one of the last episodes, if not the last one. It’s been almost a year since I’ve watched it so my memory is a little fuzzy :’) I hope this helps though!

tears ~ hcs

a/n: you know when you read a really angsty and sad scenario? yeah, that stuff hurts

∫ summary: they find you crying over a book/scenario that you read

∫ pairings: bakugou x reader, todoroki x reader, kirishima x reader

∫ warnings: sad tears, cussing, fluff

Bakugou Katsuki

what the-

finds you laying in the common room, curled up in a ball, crying like you’ve lost everything and then some

sees red but is also a little confused

because you seemed normal earlier

torn between wanting to punch the shit out of whoever hurt you or actually trying to talk to you so he knows who to punch

ends up stomping up to where you were currently sitting, crying your eyes out, and attempts to ask you why you're upset as gently as he can but ends up being his usual, albeit a little more worried, self

“what the fuck happened?!”

checks you for injuries with his eyes before his gaze locks with yours

when you show him your phone and are able to choke out the reason you’re so upset, he questions everything about your relationship for a few seconds

you were crying...because of a story you read online??

he’s no novice when it comes to books and mangas

but he didn’t expect you to be so torn up over a short story of all things

huffs out a sigh, feeling the anger drain away

“what am I going to do with you, eh?”

tugs you to his room and sits by you as you talk to him about the story

doesn’t completely understand how this stuff can make you so upset but he doesn’t judge too harshly

he just never wants to see you crying like that again

Shoto Todoroki

doesn’t know what to think at first

he walked into your room, only to find you crying at your desk, head stuffed against a pillow to muffle your sobs

his mind goes blank for a moment before he feels anger well up inside of him

who would even try to hurt you?

whoever it was, he would make them regret it

another sob from you pulls him out of his thoughts and he decides he needs to comfort you first before making any rash decisions

makes his way to your chair with brisk strides

you jolt when he places a hand on your head, gently stroking your hair

the look in your eyes makes his heart clench

“what’s wrong? did someone hurt you?”

nodding, you sniffled

“yeah, this stupid author! they really know how to write the sad stuff”

his hand pauses it’s movements, confusion written all over his face

you notice and therefore explain to him why you were upset, knowing he wasn’t familiar with this kind of thing

“ah, I see. so she died?”

this brought forth more tears since the pain was still fresh

which in turn causing Todoroki to panic because he did not want to be the one to make you cry

his internet searches are going to be full of how to properly console someone when they are crying for the next couple of days lol

Kirishima Eijiro

when you showed up at his dorm room crying, he knew he needed to comfort you

the only one of the three whose first thoughts aren’t violent 

he just knows that he hates to see you cry, and you crying makes him cry too

so he let you inside his room without a second thought 

pulls you into his arms and starts rocking you back and forth

your sobs cause his own tears to fall from his eyes

will wait until you’ve calmed down before asking if you want to talk about whatever it is that’s making you so sad

once you explain to him why you’re crying he just smiles sadly and pulls you into another hug

he may not be a bookish person

but he knows what it’s like to care about people

and he’s not going to judge that the people you care about aren’t always real

lets you stay in his room for the night so he can comfort you more

he doesn’t want you to be alone when you’re sad like this

as you lay beside him, he rubs your back gently, whispering how much he loves you

he adores the fact that despite the rigorous training to be a hero, you still manage to have such a soft and caring side that is capable of so much feeling

a/n: deep down, once you get past the overwhelming anxiety involving affection, all I really want to do is hug people 

∫ summary: you love hugging. a lot. how would the bakusquad react?

∫ warnings: none, fluffy fluff

Bakugou Katsuki:

Sitting in the common room with the others Bakugou was grumpy

All he wanted to do was go to his room and not talk to anybody for the rest of the day; well, the only exception being you

But he couldn’t just single you out from the rest of the losers he hangs out with

That would make it too obvious that he feels a little different towards you than he does them

It’s definitely not a crush though

Yeah sure whatever you say

So he just is forced to sit through another insufferable game that the others are playing because he’s hoping to at least see you before he high tails it to his room for the rest of the day

They forced him to play a round of Mario Kart but after he almost breaks the tv they decide it’s best to let him just spectate

Except he’s on his phone so he’s not paying attention

Which is precisely why he didn’t see you enter the room until he heard Mina squeal as you plopped down on her lap

“Hey! you know I love your hugs but I’m on my last lap. Go sit on Bakugou! He won’t mind”

“Like hell I won’t!”

He wouldn’t

But he had to keep up the facade

That didn’t last for long though

You shuffled your way over to him, standing and pouting slightly waiting for him to consent

Good god that cute face is going to be the death of him

Sighing, he just uncrossed his arms and opened them slightly

You brightened up at the invitation, not actually have expected for him to do it

Without waiting for him to take the offer back you climbed into his lap, wrapping your legs and arms around him

Stiffly put his arms around you

After a minute he relaxes a little, running his hand down your back once before securing it around your waist

You sigh into his neck

“Thank you”

He just grunts in return

Doesn’t want to admit it but he likes it more than he thought he would

Won’t want you to do it in public again though

He never heard the end of the squad’s teasing

Kirishima Eijiro:

Loves it

Though it does catch him off guard

Especially when you do it in public

So he was out with you and his friends

And they were currently getting food and left you two alone together

Definitely on purpose on Mina’s part

You were playing on your phone next to him while he was just admiring you with a big smile on his face

How were you so cute??

He felt so lucky to be able to know you, even if you weren’t dating yet

Totally didn’t notice that you noticed that he was staring at you

You took the opportunity to put your phone aside and turn to him

Blushes when he realized he was caught

“Can I hug you?”

The questions takes him off guard for a moment

“Hug me?”

You nod enthusiastically

His heart melts at your smile

Once he shakes out of his stupor, he grins brightly

“Of course!”

Within a second you were hugging

It was a little awkward with you both sitting but you made it work

His arms loosely wrapped around your waist as your arms did the same

His head rested on top of yours

It was a sweet hug

Not too tight or too loose

You were both so caught up in your own little blissful worlds that you didn’t even realize when the others showed back up

“AWWW! Man, they’re so cute!”

You both sprang apart, cheeks hot with embarrassment 

“Kaminari! You scared them!” 

“Sorry dude”

Kiri sighs before smiling softly at you

Maybe next time he can hold you for a little longer

Kaminari Denki:

You were worried about a test that was due to take place the following day

Mina assured you that you would do fine but you were still worried

Kaminari jumped in to support, telling you that as long as you did better than him, you would be fine

This caused you to uno reverse and start saying supportive things back to him

It became a competition on who could be more enthusiastic about the test

You both did a review together that night, seeing as you convinced him to do a last minute study session in preparation

Later on the next day you were waiting for the results from the test that you took, head swimming with anticipation

When you finally got your grade back your eyes widened and you looked at Kaminari, who was already looking at you with the same expression

“We passed!!!”

Next thing he knew, a weight slammed into him

kaminari.exe has stopped functioning

Did his crush, whom he is always trying to get attention from, just hug him???

Is this real??

All thoughts of the test flew out of his mind as he blanked 

It took him almost a solid minute to realize that his arms had wrapped around you subconsciously and that you were rambling about how well he did

He snapped out of his stupor and squeezed you tightly

“You did really well too! Don’t give me all the credit.”

Tries to act nonchalant but fails miserably

His face is red but he's smiling goofily

When you pull away he already is counting down the minutes until you hug him again

Mina Ashido: 

Yes yes yes

She loves affection, so when you are even slightly affectionate she wants to combust

You both were in her room doing your homework together so you could watch a movie after you were finished

She was already itching to wrap you in a hug but she wanted to at least finish some of her homework beforehand

Since you told her that she couldn’t hug you until she did

Pouting but trying her best

Once she got five questions right without a mistake you pulled her into a quick hug

Now she was really craving a cuddle

It felt like she had a mountain of work left but she pushed on as best as she could, thoughts of cuddling for the rest of the night kept her energized

Finally, finally she finished her work and was practically dragging you to her bed for snuggles

You barely got the movie turned on before she wrapped every possible limb around you, head buried in your chest

Can’t believe that she was able to make it that long without affection tbh

So dramatic

Granted, you were also surprised you could suppress it too

Considering Mina is great at hugs

They’re quite addicting

Alas, I digress

Seeing as you couldn’t move very well, you couldn’t return the love that you were receiving

“Uhh Mina?”

She hummed happily against your chest

“I want to cuddle you too”

“Huh?”

She realized the position that you were in

“Oh! Whoops”

Releasing her hold on you slightly, she moved a little to the side to make it more comfortable for you to wrap your arms around her, burying your face in her hair

She couldn’t be any more happy than this

Well, she would be if she could give you kisses too

But she’ll have to save that for later ;)

Sero Hanta: 

Happy baby

But also a little shy (just a little tho)

It was break time between classes and he was standing in the hallway next to the vending machine, talking to his friends

There was only a couple minutes left before he had to get back to class but he was making the most of it

It had been a pretty chill week for everyone, all things considering

No villains, no tests

Just normal school stuff plus hero training

Everyone was quite relieved about that

The only thing is Sero hasn’t seen you in a while

Usually you hang out with Mina so, in extension, the rest of the squad as well

But you’ve been gone the last week on a trip with your relatives 

You got back two days before but he only saw you in class since you had to do extra stuff to make up work

It seems that you finally got a break, though

He felt arms wind around his waist, a body pressing close to his side

Startled, he looks at the person only to recognize them immediately 

You tucked yourself against him, face pressed into his neck

He could physically feel the tension leaving your body as you relaxed against him

Smiling, he wound an arm around your waist, pulling you a little in front of him before wrapping his other arm around you

“How was your week?”

You groaned

“Don’t get me started”

He chuckled lightly before going back to the conversation he was having, rubbing your back softly

Kirishima didn’t say anything, just smiled and continued talking to Sero

Kaminari wiggled his eyebrows at his friend, who, if you squinted close enough, had a faint blush on his cheeks

So maybe he was a little flustered at the sudden PDA

But he cherished every moment with you

So he didn’t mind 

He only hoped he could work up the courage to properly ask you out sometime in the future

phonophobia ~ scenario

a/n: this phobia sucks. so I naturally thought to make a scenario for it lol

∫ pairing: bakugou x reader

∫ warnings: triggered by loud sound, crying, fluff 

∫ word count: 1k+

Was this a stupid idea? Yeah. Did you regret it? Nope Yes. Currently you were sitting on the sofa in the common room after having agreed with Mina that everyone should get together to watch a horror movie since it was spooky month. It wasn’t even halfway through the movie and you were already resisting the urge to tug your blanket over your head so you didn’t have to watch the ensuing jump scares that were bound to happen.  

Did you forget to mention that you were terrified of scary movies? Well, terrified may be a little too dramatic. But you hate loud noise, so pop out parts always threw you for a loop. Do you cry? Do you vault over the couch and run away? Maybe throw your blanket over the TV? The possibilities were endless; though, you kind of hoped not to do the first option, since you were sitting right next to Bakugou, and you definitely did not want to subject him to the horror that is your crying face.  

Surprisingly everyone turned up to Mina’s little impromptu Halloween movie night. You were sure at least Iida would have skipped out but he’s as dutiful as ever, claiming that it was his job as class president to attend all class get togethers. At least that’s what you thought he said. You stopped listening half-way through his enthusiastic speech. Even more surprisingly is that Bakugou agreed to join in. You had a sneaking suspicion he was just here to enjoy the fear in his classmates and the gore of the movie but what did you care? Other than the fact that you like him but we don’t need to talk about that.

The couch was full as well as the floor. You were sat between Kaminari and Bakugou, who was at the end of the couch. Since the start of the movie, everyone has been inching closer together in fear. You included, though you didn’t notice it was Bakugou that you were scooting closer to. That was until a jump scare came up and you jerked, accidentally bumping his shoulder. Quickly looking at him you hastened out an apology before scooting away as best you could. He just grunted in reply before turning back to the movie.  

Your face heated up in embarrassment before the movie drew you back in until the next jump scare. How in the hell can people watch this without getting scared? Well, Todoroki seemed to be managing just fine, you thought dryly. His eyes were watching the screen but his facial expression never changed from his normal one that he always had on. He must be superhuman. Even though technically he is. Actually, you all were. So, you couldn’t really use that as an excuse now that you think about it.  

Shaking your head to rid your thoughts you glanced at some of the others in the room to see how they were faring. Mina and Kiri were squished together, the latter's face hiding slightly behind Mina’s head. An amused grin danced across your lips at the couple. Your grin dropped when you spotted Mineta trying to press up against Asui, though it quickly returned when she shoved him away, right into Shoji, who proceeded to pick him up and toss him out of the room. Iida, Midoriya, and Uraraka were also sitting close together. Iida tried to keep a straight face but you could see the fear hidden behind his façade. Sero and Kaminari were holding onto each other for dear life. You snorted softly at the spectacle. Finally, you worked up the courage to look to your side at resident boom boy. As you turned your head you almost immediately whipped it back around, wide eyes returning to the movie. Bakugou had been looking right at you when you made eye contact. Dear lord, why? Why must you keep embarrassing yourself like this? Oh boy if only you knew.

As you let yourself relax after your ridiculous reaction you stayed attentive to the movie from then on, not noticing the red eyes that would occasionally glance your way. As the story got more intense you found yourself completely immersed. So immersed, in fact, that you didn’t see the next jump scare coming, and when it did ~whew~ it reminded you of why you didn’t do this type of thing in the first place.  

Screams burst out from various classmates, some pouncing onto the people next to them. This particular scene was paired with an extremely loud and sudden BANG sound. Said sound causes you to leap back into your seat, curling up slightly as tears formed unwillingly in your eyes. The noise was prolonged, so you covered your ears as tears started trailing down your face. It felt like your heart was trying to beat right out of your body. This is such an annoying fear, you thought angrily as tears still continued to pour from your eyes. 

Not even a second later you felt muscular arms wrap around you, pulling you into a lap. Your eyes popped open in shock, jerking your head up to meet a pair of red eyes. Bakugou was looking at you with concern, though he also looked kind of angry so you may be wrong. Wait, what are you even thinking right now? He just pulled you onto his lap!

He reached up and wiped your tears, albeit a little aggressively, before tugging your head and smushing it against his chest. Honestly, you’re okay with not receiving oxygen. Who needs it anyways? You finally registered that you were still crying. It usually takes a couple of minutes for the effects of the fear to wear off enough for you to stop so you decided to just roll with it. In a moment of bravery, you curled up in Bakugou’s lap, wrapping your arms tightly around the arm that was previously used to smash your face against his rock-hard chest. What was this guy's routine? He tensed beneath you but relaxed after a couple of seconds, bringing his other hand up to awkwardly pat your head. You would have laughed if you still weren’t feeling the adrenaline.  

After your tears subsided and you fully relaxed against Bakugou, you pulled away to look at him.  

“Thank you.”  

Your voice was no more than a whisper, so only he would hear it. Surprisingly, you didn’t seem to disturb anybody with your crying. Well, the movie was up pretty loud.  

His eyes searched yours before looking away, what looked like a blush darkening his cheeks.  

“Don’t worry about it.”

You felt a tap on your leg. Turning, you saw that it was Mina that had tapped you. Kiri was also watching the exchange. Tilting your head, you gave her a questioning stare.  

She looked guilty as she whispered, “I’m sorry! I forgot to warn you about this part.”

Huffing out a quiet laugh you turn back to Bakugou, making a move to get off of his lap. You didn’t want to overstay your welcome.

“I’m sorry, I’ll just move.”

Before you could move any further, Bakugou’s arms wrapped around you again, this time keeping you in his lap.  

“S’fine.”

You looked up at him in surprise. This time he met your stare without turning away, though he was still blushing.

He just raised an eyebrow at you, his look saying everything.

“Right, yeah, you’re sure.”

Without another word you curled up in his lap again, his arms staying wrapped around you. This time he was less tense about the affection. He even went so far as to start rubbing your back softly every once and awhile. 

You decided that despite what just happened, you would still watch the movie since the plot was actually interesting. This time you just used Bakugou as a personal shield when the pop out parts showed up, peeking out from behind his arm that you brought up to cover your face. Being with Bakugou had its ups and downs. Most of the time he was kind to you in his own way; pressing a chaste kiss to your head before class in the morning as he walked by your desk or shoving a drink in your hand when he sat with you at lunch. 

Occasionally he would say things that others would see as mean to say, especially involving you and your fighting. Nothing bad necessarily, just criticizing your form. You knew he meant well with his slightly harsh remarks but sometimes he would say or do something that would hit you deep. Even if you knew what he said wasn’t intended to be offensive, it still could affect you. This has only happened once in your relationship so far, and today was that day, unfortunately.  

You were sitting in the classroom, waiting for the next class to start. Today had been pretty bad so far. There wasn’t much reason for why you felt so upset but you guessed it was all of the all nighters you’ve been pulling to finish a project that you didn’t even want to do to begin with. The other people who were supposed to help you ditched so you were stuck with doing all of the work. Figures.  

The stress had been weighing on you for a while, causing you to be pushed to a limit you didn’t know you had. 

Of course, this was also a day when Bakugou wasn’t feeling too nifty either. I mean, he normally didn’t look like he was happy but today he was even grumpier than normal. When you went to greet him, he only grunted in response, which in hindsight you should have picked up on right away that he didn’t want to be bothered. Due to your inability to pay attention when you’re stressed, however, it slipped your attention.  

It only got worse as the day progressed. You would try to ask him something and he would still only grunt at you, not bothering to look up from what he was doing. This was causing you to become a little more upset than you already were. Was he mad at you? Did you do something wrong? Did something happen that he wasn’t telling you?

All of the negative thoughts were causing your head to spin so you decided to do the only rational thing (at least it seemed rational at the time) and confront him about it.  

The bell had just wrung to signal class switch. You had around five minutes to ask Bakugou what was wrong.  

You slowly approached his desk, taking a deep breath to steel your nerves.

“Katsuki...”  

“...” No response.

“Is something wrong?”

“...”

Biting your lip, you toy with your uniform slightly, trying to push down the tears that are starting to form in your eyes.

“Did I say something yesterday to make you mad?”

“...”

“I’m sorry but please, talk to me!”

He finally snapped; his voice sharp.

“SHUT UP! Holy shit you’re annoying sometimes...”  

It felt like a weight fell on your shoulders, causing them to sag slightly as the tears you were holding back began to fall. His words finally pushed you to your limit.

“Oh...okay...”, you cough slightly to cover up a soft sob, “I-I’ll just go then.”  

And with that, you ran out of the classroom, avoiding the calls of your worried classmates. You ran until you reached the bathroom at the end of the hallway a couple halls down. After running inside, you slammed the stall door shut, collapsing in the tiny space, finally breaking down into sobs.

Mina turned to Bakugou, glaring at him.

“Bakugou what the hell man?”

She, along with the other girls of the class, ran out to follow you.

Bakugou slammed his palm on the desk, before sighing heavily, dragging his hand through his hair. He could feel the glares of some of his classmates burning through his back.

“Fuck.”

A couple of minutes later Jiro came through the door, worry displayed on her face. Her expression caused the others to tense slightly. Kirishima was the first to speak up.

“Is she alright? Where is she?”

“She’s in the bathroom. She won’t answer us. I can tell she’s crying though.”

Bakugou’s heart drops into his stomach when he hears that, his face faltering slightly. Jiro turns to him, giving him a pointed look.

“Bakugou, I think it would be best if you talked to her instead. You know she’s been having a hard week, right?”

Of course, he had noticed you were stressed but you tend to clam up so as to not bother him when you feel this way. Usually you come around and tell him what wrong but you didn’t this time. He felt stupid for not trying to talk to you sooner.

“I knew it had been shitty but not this shitty.”

“Well, right now she needs some comfort and you need to apologize.”

He was already going out of the door before she could finish her sentence.  

“I know.”

The bell wrung as soon as Bakugou located where the other girls were at. They all turned to face him with varying expressions. None of them were happy, though they all looked a little relieved that he showed up.

Not saying a word, he brushed past them but paused when he heard Momo speak.

“Don’t hurt her again.”

He replied instantly, his voice firm.

“I won’t.”

And with that, he let the door close behind him.

It was silent for a couple of seconds until Bakugou heard a soft sob.  

“Y/N?”

You fell silent, not wanting him to see or hear you when you were an absolute mess.

“Leave me alone.”

His heart cracked a little hearing the tears in your voice.

“I’ll leave you alone if you listen.”

“...”  

“I-”  

He sighed heavily. You could tell he was trying to figure out what to say.

“Fuck. I’m sorry.”

When you didn’t speak, he continued.

“I’m sorry for saying what I did. You’re not annoying. You never are. I was just frustrated about some shitty stuff that happened this morning and it had been bothering me to the point that it made me angry. I didn’t want to upset you which is why I wasn’t respondi-”

“You’ll miss class.”

He stared incredulously at the stall door that you were in. You really thought that was important at the moment?

“You think I care about some shitty class when you, the girl I love, are crying in the fucking bathroom because of me? Are you kidding? You’re more important to me than that.”  

His words made you tear up more but this time for a different reason. Slowly opening up the stall you look at him with eyes wide with surprise.

“You love me?”

Not moving, he stared back at you, defiant.  

“Yes, I love you. I know this isn’t the best way to say it,” he gestured with his hand at the fact that you were in a bathroom, “but you need to hear it. I want you to hear it. It doesn’t take back what I said, and that’s not what I’m trying to do but I mean it. I love you so fucking much it scares me sometimes. I thought the only thing I would ever care about is becoming the best pro-hero but then you walked through the door the first day of class.”  

He paused, closing his eyes and taking a breath to try to reign in his emotions a little. You just stood watching him, eyes still wide.

Opening his eyes, he continued.

“I wouldn’t say it was love at first sight because that would be a damn lie. But every day a little more of me seemed to become attracted to you until one day I realized that you were just as important to me as becoming a pro-hero. It scared me, feeling like this. When you ran out today, after I realized what I had said, I knew that I couldn’t avoid this anymore. I was scared that I was going to lose you. I still am. All because I can’t keep my shitty mouth shut.”  

His face was blushing slightly as he looked off to the side to avoid your gaze.  

“Katsu...”

Not even a second later a weight hit him.

“Wha-”

Your arms encircled his waist as you buried your face in his chest. Once he realized you were hugging him, he relaxed slightly, wrapping his arms around you as well.

It was silent for a second before you mumbled against him.

“I’m sorry for being overdramatic.”

He scoffed.

“Don’t apologize, you aren’t being dramatic. I’m the only one who needs to apologize. I should have been a better boyfriend and talked with you instead of fucking snapping your head off.”

Pulling away from him slightly you gave him a soft smile.

“Let’s work harder to talk about our problems then, yeah?”

Chuckling, he ruffled your hair before pulling away completely.

“Yeah.”

After a couple of seconds of looking at each other you had a realization.

“Wait a minute...You followed me into the girls’ bathroom?!”

He deadpanned. 

“Really? Again, you think I care?”

“Well no but...won’t you get in trouble?”

“We’re both going to get in trouble for being late to class so I don’t think it matters much.”

You nodded at his reasoning, ignoring his amused stare.

“I guess we should get back to class then. Everyone’s probably worried...”

You walked to the bathroom door, opening it as you talked to Bakugou, who was close beside you.

“I wonder if they-” you paused, seeing that most of the girls were still outside of the bathroom, “uhhh guys? Why are you not in class?”

Uraraka smiled sheepishly while Mina eyed you both with a smirk on her face.

“We wanted to make sure you were alright...”

“Mic said he wouldn’t start until you guys were back. Jiro explained what was happening. We’ll probably get detention though.” Mina grinned. “It was so worth it.”

“EH?! What are you talking about raccoon eyes?”

Mina snorted before turning around waving slightly.

“Let’s go!”

The others followed while you hung back with Bakugou. He was grumbling under his breath about what Mina had said, causing you to grin slightly.

he already is pissed at Kaminari because he walked into his room while you were napping and started making fun of Bakugo for being soft

when you wake up he will press a(nother) kiss to your head before pushing you gently off of him so you can go be productive as well

Kirishima Eijiro:

found you napping on the common room couch and covered you with a blanket he grabbed from his room

sits next to you to make sure anybody who comes through is quiet so you can sleep

admires you with a sweet smile on his face

can’t believe how lucky he is to have someone like you

ignores any teasing remarks from his friends

holds your hand and leans his head back after a while

ends up falling asleep too lol

you wake up to find your boyfriend passed tf out sitting on the floor

biting your lip you grin at him like how is he so cute

gently shake him awake so he can move next to you to nap properly

his sleepy grin is the cutest omg

“hey baby. you’re awake?”

sleepy voice!!!

“yeah. come lay with me so we can nap for a bit longer”

“m’kay”

wraps you in his arms as soon as he’s comfortable

you’re laying with your head pressed against his chest, crammed between his body and the back of the couch 

eventually had to ditch the blanket because it was way too hot

rotated at some point, so now it was Kiri that was crammed against the couch

unconsciously rubs your back in his sleep how sweet

you both were woken up by Mina, who was taking pictures and squealing happily at the cuteness

laughs as he pecks your lips before maneuvering you so he could stand up

he holds his hand out to you

“let’s go grab something to eat. all that sleeping made me hungry.”

you laugh as he pulls you out the door

Todoroki Shoto:

you were both on a bus, on your way to your house for the weekend

he sat in the window seat, as you weren’t feeling well and he didn’t want you to get nauseous from the movement

quietly was on his phone, looking up different things to do for you for when you got to your house

he felt you shift beside him

his head turned to look at you to make sure you were okay

your eyes were closed but he could tell that you were trying to stay awake

he gently moved your head so it was placed on his shoulder

“are you feeling okay? are you nauseous?”

his voice was quiet so as to not disturb the other passengers

“i’m okay. just a little dizzy.”

eyes softening in concern he gently rubbed your head before placing his hand on your thigh

“get some rest. i’ll wake you up when we get to our stop.”

you managed a weak nod

“okay”

he squeezed your thigh gently before returning his attention to his phone, looking up some articles on how to deal with dizziness

the bus was still crowded since you were in the center of the city, so he was also paying attention to the people around you

making sure nobody bumped into you or got too close

if someone did he would glare at them causing them to automatically back off

wasn’t trying to be mean, but he was more concerned for you than what others thought of his actions

thankfully people seemed to get the idea

sadly he didn’t get to nap with you

he was too worried about you

you both did get good sleep when you got home though 

after he fussed over you for an hour lol
