So I met Avi Roque (voice of Raine Whispers from Owl House) today at a small park pride that I went to with my wife

We were walking around looking at all the booths and we walked up to one and my ADHD ass saw art of Raine Whispers on the table and nothing else so I was like, "RAINE!" and then Avi Roque looked up at me and I realized I was looking at the voice actor for Raine Whispers and they were so nice! They complemented my wife's and my pride outfits and were excited that I knew about the show and they were selling these super cool stickers

And they asked what my wife's and my names were and it was loud because we were right next to the stage so they misheard my name at first but then I showed them my bracelet with my name on it and they said it in the deepest voice they could and I was just like

And then they asked if they could give us hugs and my brain short-circuited because cool trans voice actor wants to give me a hug? but then I was like, "Yeah" and as my wife (who opted for no hug) and I were walking away from the booth I was doing some major happy flappy hands

Rewatching “Centaurworld” and I can’t help but read Horse as (allegorically) a Small Town Butch Girl who finds herself initially baffled but then welcomed and comforted by the more ‘frivolous’ and extravagant gay culture of the big city (with the “Becky Apples” song being her worrying that her childhood crush has left her behind in favour of a more Conventionally Attractive/Traditionally Feminine girlfriend) while the Nowhere King’s story is allegorically about a member of a marginalised group trying to cut away the minority part of himself in order to be accepted by the dominant culture only for that to backfire and ultimately destroy him and everything that he tried to build in his new life.

I agree except I’m not comfy with the idea of Rider being referred to as Horse’s childhood crush because they’re family, I think that Horse’s insecurity over presentation and gender expectations could be explained in the situation with Becky Apples without it being romantic

Someone directed me to your blog as I was posting about how hard it is to find Yasammy clips to use for make AMVs and noticed you have a scene pack for CC, do you have any plans to do the Chaos Theory scene packs as well?

I do indeed! I have just been insanely busy (got engaged 🏳️‍🌈, bought a house, still unpacking said house, got married 🏳️‍🌈, and currently have end-of-the-year teacher prep looming over my head) but I'm hoping that by summer I can do it. I still need to finish watching Chaos Theory season 2. 💀
