A funny thing happened on the way to the theater! 😂👏💁 First to come down, last to roll out. I'm coming home. The last 2 years have been really rough... the last 2 months have been really hectic... the last 2 weeks have been really emotional... But it all culminated til 2day. I am an Equity actor! TLDR: I signed up to be a marrow donor and you should do it (or other services) too, if you haven't! 😝 So last year, I made a New Year's resolution to be somehow/someway involved in a Shakespeare play that year. I had never done one before then, so I was willing to take any role or any part (even a non-speaking one) just to check that bucket list item... And then the Universe deemed it funny to give me way more than I planned I'd get with a whole year of Shakespeare! Working first early that summer at the Shakespeare Theater of NJ in 'Taming of The Shrew' and then being accepted in August (and moving to Alabama) to work at the fifth largest Shakespeare Festival (ASF) in the world, cast in 'Much Ado About Nothing' and now '12th Night'! Talk about #gobigorgohome Leading up to this year, 2018, I wanted a New Year's resolution of doing some kind of volunteer work. Again, anything. I was going to do something small like donate to a walk or throw money at some charity but again...the Universe, lol... and I stumbled upon some things that led me to signing up online to be a bone marrow donor! Why? Why not, lol! I couldn't go home (since I was in Alabama), sooo I figured I had no choice but to go big 😅😁 And to make a long post even longer, I finally got the kit sent down to me from home and finally did it today!! Just mailed it off! Two for two, universe! 😎 Who knows, maybe one day I can help save a life and give someone else a chance of doing another year's resolution of their own. . . .
