A Pictorial Analogy

The photo is me just doing weird things with twigs. I am sure everything in the world is wrong with the 'treatment' I have given it, but it is a great pictorial analogy for how it is feeling inside my head right now. All white light and spikes. Yikes.

But knowing me it will be all calm and tranquility again by morning, as was the water behind these twigs in actuality!

TIME

Whilst we all(?) love our jobs, 3pm on the last day of term is a very significant and celebratory time for we teachers. There was a small gathering in the staffroom after the close of school - Linda's last day before she pops, so a few cups of tea (literally) and some pie of some sort being shared.

Then it struck me - the clock was stuck on 3 past 3. The little second hand was having quiet little spazzes on the 8. I had to immortalise the time that had stood still, just, it appeared, for us to breathe a little sigh of appreciation of the upcoming holiday break.

THE BUTTERFLY

I found this brand new butterfly (I think it was pretty new) strengthening its wings on the brickwork outside my window. It's not exactly my butterfly, the one I have been waiting to see emerge from it's chrysalis for aaaaaaaages now.  I am actually wondering if it is ever going to happen. But I can't help thinking I must have grown this one too, and that it built its chrysalis away from my wee swan plant, hidden somewhere? It seemed to know me...

Once I remembered Cuphead, then Mugman, and then Halloween. So it turned out that I had to draw a picture for the holiday :_)

Nevertheless, I think there may be further drawings based on them.

WHO ARE THE AVENGERS IN MARVEL COMICS ?

The Avengers are an all star ensemble cast of established superhero character from the Marvel Comics portfolio. Earth mightiest heroes must come together and learn to fight as a team if they are going to stop the mischievous loki and his alien army feom enslaving humanity.

These movies deliver the most consistent and well-thought-out fight scenes of the past decade, including the notorious airport fight scene from Captain America: Civil War and the renowned Battle of Wakanda from Avengers: Infinity War. All the action scenes are engaging without being overabundant.

That said, Tony Stark is alluring not just because he possesses admirable qualities, but also because he possesses less-than-stellar qualities that make him seem fully human.

THE AVENGERS IS SO GOOD .

The Avengers movies are so good because it gels really together. Whether they are uniting for the first time on screen , fighting against each other or introducing a new character like Vision or Spider-man. They all have strengths and weaknesses like real people and that's what gets people connected , i think.
