(ooc; sorry for the inactivity! not had such a muse for Sans these past few days; not for any other reason except I’ve kinda been focused on other RP blogs. Heh.)
(Send me an IM or ask if you’d like to RP with him at some point, though! I’m always up for new interactions even if I take a while to get back to ‘em!)

... How could he say no to that face? The answer is, he couldn’t! If Sans had a heart in that empty ribcage of his, Frisk’s obvious disappointment would have been pulling at its strings.
“... it’s somethin’ special to ya, huh? ... well... as long as you give me a... sweet new look, i guess i got nothin’ to lose.”
Ba-dum-tshh.
ACT: EXPLAIN
“Special,” because it occurred only once a year. Frisk thought it was worth the effort and time but maybe Papyrus would be more open to having them paint their face. It’d come off anyway. Or at least Frisk hoped it would. Frisk wasn’t too sure about monsters and if their fur could be dyed and bones painted.

“i need to take a break from taking a break.” Sans said, simply, as if this form of logic made any sort of sense. Typical lazybones...
“alright then. let’s go.” He put his hands in his pockets and started in the direction of the center of the village, slippered feet making footprints in the deep snow. “uh... you got any cash on ya, by any chance?”
[*Doggo flickers his ears as he looks over towards Sans direction. When Doggo caught the skeleton’s movements, his eyes locks in and focuses onto sans.]
*psh Hell yea! I’m freakin’ starvin’ man..I could eat anythin’ right about now!
*Say…Did ya already take yer break though? Could of sworn ya did awhile ago.

“oh...i... thanks kid, but...” Sans tried to sound grateful, but the truth was... he wasn’t too sure about how he felt about allowing a fifth grader to draw on his face, to be perfectly honest.
He would feel bad saying no, though, and he knew that. “you... sure you’d want to go to all that trouble? i mean... it’s only one day in the whole year after all...”
ACT: ASK
“Help,” their small hands are lifted as they create the simple sign. Something tells Frisk that Sans wouldn’t bother to do it. However, being able to help him out sounds like it’d be fun! They could probably look up some designs and patterns to put on his face. Humans do face paintings, why not skeletons?

“sugar... skull?” Sans had to take a moment; that is what they had signed, right? It was an odd formation of words to him, one that left him temporarily confused.
“sugar... sk-- oh!” He gave a nod, remembering about The Day Of The Dead and Mexican human traditions. “when they decorate the skulls with pretty patterns, right? hm... i’m not much of an artist though...”
ACT: THINK ABOUT HALLOWEEN
Frisk studied Sans curiously as a pointer finger tapped rhythmically against their olive toned chin. Frisk chewed thoughtfully on their lower lip but snapped their eager fingers. “Sugar skull,” the fifth grader signed eagerly at him.
