“And the award goes to… Y/N! Congratulations! Get up here!”
As cliche as it sounds, it all still felt like a dream. Like an out of body experience, one that you watched from your television screen. You had just written a few songs, you hadn’t thought that much about it. But, before you could blink, the songs were picked up by huge companies: JYP, YG, SM, BigHit. Then, suddenly, you were accepting an award for “Best Rising Lyricist” at one of the largest award ceremonies in the country.
.
A week.
A week since the ceremony, and your phone had not stopped ringing. Every company wanted you to join their team, and you appreciate them all, but it was all so exhausting. You had jumped at the first phone call, but suddenly you dreaded the idea of your phone ever ringing again. You sat in a cafe, your laptop and a thousand different contracts in a manila folder placed neatly in front of you. The barista brought your latte over and sat it on the table beside you. You mumbled a quick “thank you” as you rummaged through the different contracts. As you read the fine print of a contract, you attempted to reach for your coffee, instead knocking it onto the ground clumsily. You gasped and stood up, taking a moment to quietly curse yourself for being so absent-minded.
“Oh my God…” You breathed and turned to reach for the napkins on your table when a stranger came to the rescue, hands full of napkins as he kneeled down to assist with the mess. You joined him, both of you doing your best to mop up the mess of coffee, milk, and sugar from the tile floor.
“Thank you, so much. I’m a mess, this is…” you sighed. “A mess.”
He chuckled, almost mischievously, and looked up to smile at you—as cheesy as it may be, your heart skipped a beat. Is that… Jungkook? You wondered to yourself, but forced an awkward smile back as you continued to clean the floor. Once the two of you had gotten most of the coffee, a barista came over to mop up the rest. You turned back to the stranger, meeting eyes with him.
“Uh, thank you. Thank you, again. For that.” You stated awkwardly, losing the ability to hold eye contact.
That is definitely Jeon Jungkook. That is most definitely one of the members of the BTS. You thought to yourself in a moment of panic.
“Anytime.” He spoke smoothly, his voice reverberating in your chest and you did your best not to swoon. He was about to turn away when he spoke. “Do you think you could do me a favor in return?”
You looked up in shock and confusion. What favor could he want from me?
“Sure, anything. What is it?” You responded, almost immediately regretting your choice of words.
“You’re Y/N, right?” He waited for your confirmation and continued to speak with a nod of your head., “Come to the company with me. Listen to some of my ideas. I can see you have a lot of contract options over there and…Well, don’t think of it as a business thing, think of it as an artist thing. We’re both songwriters, so, maybe we could mess around with some lyrics for a bit and even get your mind off of all that for now. How does that sound?” He immediately looked as though he made a mistake, fearful of your response. “Or is that too forward?” He continued.
You stared at him in awe. One, Jeon Jungkook knows you by name. Of course, you had written a song or two for BTS, but…he knew you by face—and name. He knew who you were. Two, he wanted you to come to BigHit with him—casually. Did that make it a date?
You finally mustered up the courage to speak after staring at him like an idiot for far too long. “Okay…yeah. I mean, how can I refuse? I offered a favor.” You giggled.
Jungkook beamed at your response and almost hopped in excitement. “Alright, perfect. Let’s get you another coffee and head over there, yeah?” He asked.
You smiled back and nodded in acceptance, doing your best to act natural.
.
Half an hour later, Jungkook led you into his studio and you followed, the latte that he bought you in hand. He opened the door for you, urging you in.
“So, this is my studio.” He stated awkwardly running past you to pull out a chair for you. “Here, please have a seat.”
You followed in and sat your things down on a desk at the entrance. Once you were in, you walked past the chair he offered you, over to a beautiful, fittingly named, grand piano. Jungkook stood up straight and fixed his shirt, doing his best not to take the rejection personally.
“Incredible…” You muttered to yourself and ran your fingers over the fall board before gently lifting it to brush your fingertips over the ivory keys. You quickly withdrew your hands and looked up at Jungkook. “I’m so sorry, I didn’t ask. May I?”
“Absolutely—please do.” Jungkook sat in the chair that he had pulled out for you, just as you found yourself seated on the piano bench.
You placed a finger down on the keys and you were instantly taken away, forgetting that anyone else was in the room. You readjusted, getting yourself comfortable before you began to play the first thing that came to mind. You began to play “All of Me” by John Legend, immersed in the music as your fingers graced the keys.
Jungkook watched as you began to play the familiar tune, his eyes joining yours as they shut, not needing sight to take in the beauty of the moment.
It started as a hum, quietly to yourself, then a burst of song. “My head's underwater but I’m breathing fine. You’re crazy and I’m out of my mind…” You sang like there was no one else in the room, no one else in the world.
Jungkook’s eyes shot open just as you opened your mouth, shocked at the melodious sound of your voice. She can sing? He thought to himself. A million thoughts made themselves known in his mind, but the loudest was the returning thought of how beautiful you sounded—and looked. Your lips shined in the dim light of the studio, wet with chapstick and saliva, as you sang. Your fingers were soft and delicate, nails painted a pale pink to match the cotton sweater that hung loosely around your shoulders. Your ripped jeans clung to your skin, so tight that they could be painted on if not for the fabric that stuck out from the tears at the knees. And your voice—God, your voice— it sounded like everything good in the world. It sounded like warm coffee on a cold day, like a cold shower in the middle of July, like an embrace when you need it most.
Jungkook lost himself in the thoughts of you—your voice, your body, you. He barely knew you, but he knew that he wanted to keep learning more.
You continued to sing, unaware of the world around you, when you were struck with a reminder as Jungkook joined you. He began to sing with you, perfectly harmonizing at just the right moment.
“I can’t stop singing, it’s ringing in my head for you…”
You didn’t lose focus, despite the immediate urge to stop everything you were doing and glue your eyes and ears to him. You instead tried to embrace the situation and continued to sing, taking in the beauty in this chance of a lifetime.
Jungkook sat himself next to you on the piano bench as you both finished the song together, a beautiful duet. As soon as the song ended, you were thrown back into reality, totally unsure of what to do. The two of you were close—shoulder to shoulder. Your knees touched and your heart raged inside of your chest. You coughed awkwardly and Jungkook broke the silence.
“So…why didn’t I know you sang? I mean, we did just meet, but I mean, why doesn’t the world know you can sing? You have a beautiful voice…no, more than beautiful, but I don’t know that there’s a word for it…” Jungkook stumbled over his words as he spoke to you, eyes transfixed on your hands as they fumbled with the torn fabric of your jeans.
“Oh, I—I don’t know, I’ve just always been a behind-the-scenes kind of person, I guess. I’m really not all that good. Have you heard yourself?” You fumbled with your words, both flattered and embarrassed.
“Not that good? You really aren’t giving yourself enough credit. And yes, I’ve heard myself—but I’ve almost never heard anyone sing like that. You were completely in the song. It was like you had gone somewhere else for a bit, somewhere only music exists.” Jungkook sighed, unable to fully express himself with words. “It was incredible to watch. You should try being the scene instead of being behind it some time. I think the world deserves to witness your talent.”
You cheeks lit up like Christmas lights—all in red. They tingled with heat as you continued to pick at your jeans, nearly ripping them even more than they already were.
Jungkook took notice of the awkward air that filled the room, as well as your fingers waging a war on your jeans, and he bravely reached over to grab your hand. “Don’t do that, you'll ruin them…” His words fell short as soon as he touched your hand, a rush of heat washing over your body. His hand lingered on yours a little too long for two people that had just met, but neither of you seemed to mind much.
Jungkook slid his hand from yours and placed it back on his thigh. Despite the compelling urge to tell him not to let go, you decided to keep your mouth shut and squirm awkwardly in your seat instead.
The two of you sat in silence for what felt like a century when your phone suddenly began to buzz from across the room. Along with the buzzing came your best friend’s ringtone and your entire body radiated embarrassment.
“Take it off now girl…”
Namjoon’s husky voice flooded the room, your phone’s ringtone on full volume.
“Fuck me.” You practically leaped out of your seat, scrambling across the room to grab your phone and turn off the volume as quickly as humanly possible.
Jungkook sat beyond you, shocked by your sudden reaction, but was soon giggling at your ringtone. You managed to pull your phone from your bag and turn the sound off, but not before the embarrassment could reach full capacity. Your entire body was flushed, your breath erratic. Your best friend was an asshole, always had been— but this was too much. She always changed her ringtone to something ridiculous— but this? Now? You cursed her under your breath. You couldn't manage to make eye contact at this point, especially not after that charade.
“I’ve heard a lot of funny ringtones, but I think that one takes the cake. Namjoon is gonna lose it when I tell him.” Jungkook laughed.
You struggled to respond, your pride fighting “I—It was—My best friend did it as a stupid joke, but now, here, with you, it’s just really embarrass—” You awkwardly leaned onto the counter when you suddenly knocked your coffee onto the floor in front of you. If there was an award for the biggest fucking mess of the year, you would have won it with flying colors. Jungkook jumped up from the bench and came to the rescue once again. He seemed to be good at that— coming to the rescue.
You were almost in tears from embarrassment at this point but you bit your lip and got down on the floor to help clean another mess that you had made. Despite what a mess you were, and had been all day, Jungkook didn’t seem frustrated or annoyed at all. He was actually smiling—no, beaming.
“Here we are again.” He stated, almost excited.
You didn’t share the excitement, finding it almost impossible to hold back the intense embarrassment you felt. “I’m sorry, I really am. I know I’m a big mess, I’m so sorry.” You finished cleaning the coffee and stood up. “Maybe I should just go. I seem to make a mess of things wherever I go.”
“No, don’t do that. Please. It’s not that big of a deal, really. I know you’re embarrassed, but you don’t need to be. You’ve been great. Stay. Just a little longer.” Jungkook looked desperate, almost begging you to stay.
You looked up at him— in the eyes this time. They said everything. He liked you. In what way, you weren’t sure yet, and maybe he wasn’t either. You sighed and set your bag back onto the desk. “Okay. I’m sorry again.”
Jungkook smiled at you, “Don’t be sorry. Please.”
You nodded and walked over to the chair he had originally pulled out for you. “So…” You giggled awkwardly.
“So…” Jungkook giggled along with you.
.
Next thing you knew, it was nearly midnight and you had been there for hours. The two of of you had spent it talking, laughing, and you even wrote a song together. You had finally finished the song when you turned to check your phone and saw the time.
“Oh, gosh, it’s almost midnight already.” You stated, sitting up in your chair.
Jungkook looked at his own watch, “Oh, I guess it is.”
You looked up at him, “I suppose I should go.” You said hesitantly.
Jungkook almost pouted as you spoke, but he straightened himself out and nodded in agreement. “Yeah, I suppose I shouldn’t keep you out too late.” He stood up with you and led you out of the studio. You were headed for the door when you realized it was raining.
“Shit, I didn’t bring my umbrella.” You cursed.
“Stay right here.” Jungkook said and ran down the hall. He returned a few moments later with a large black umbrella in hand.
“Here, I can walk you back home.” Jungkook said, unwrapping the umbrella.
“No, that’s okay. I’m just gonna walk to the bus stop. You don’t have to walk me.” You smiled up at him.
He pouted slightly, but placed the umbrella in your hands. “At least take this, then.” He said. “Now I have another excuse to see you again.”
A rosy blush painted your cheeks and you giggled. “Thank you.”
The two of you walked to the door and stood in front of it in silence before Jungkook finally spoke up. “Oh, let me get your number. We’ll need to work on the song again sometime if that’s okay with you.”
“Oh, of course.” You pulled your phone from your pocket and exchanged phone numbers. “Well, I suppose I should really go this time. This has been wonderful, thank you again.” You grinned and opened the umbrella.
“The pleasure is all mine,” Jungkook smiled as he grabbed your hand before leaning down to kiss your hand.
You giggled and blushed furiously, “Oh, that was cheesy. But very, very cute. Oh my.” You continued to giggle out of nervousness and placed a hand on your cheek.
“It worked though, didn’t it?” Jungkook grinned, proud of the effect he seemed to have on you.
You nodded in response, unable to speak due to your uncontrollable giggling.
“Okay, for real this time. I’ll see you soon, yeah?” Jungkook asked eagerly.
“Absolutely. I’ll, uh, I’ll call you…” You trailed off as you walked out into the rain.
Jungkook watched as you disappeared from his sight and let out a sigh of satisfaction. You walked down the sidewalk and stood by the bus stop, heart still racing, skin still flushed pink. You pulled out your phone and looked at your recent emails, one from BigHit about your recent job offer.
I think tonight just made my decision a lot easier, you thought to yourself.

waiting for you
“Christmas is supposed to be a happy time of the year, but Jimin feels anything but as he sits alone, without you. His holiday is looking pretty bleak, until there’s a knock on the door and he gets the best present of all.”

It was Christmas, but he didn’t feel any of the cheer. His friends ran around the cabin with excitement, drunk on cheap beer and glee, while he sat on the sofa and thought of you. He let out a heavy sigh as he stared into the fireplace. All he could imagine was you right beside him, and he damned fate for not letting it be so. It was Christmas, for God’s sake. You were supposed to be there. You were supposed to come back a few days before Christmas and spend a few weeks together with him, before both of you had to get back to school and work. But life got in the way, so it was Christmas and you weren’t there. Jimin wrapped his sweater tighter around his body and rested his chin on his knees.
“Ah, come on. I know she’s not here, but she wouldn’t want you to sit around like this either. Come have fun with us!” Jin tugged on the arm of his sweater, an attempt to coax him into joining the others.
Jimin let out a deep sigh, knowing that Jin was right.
“I know…I just can’t help it. I was really looking forward to having her here. It’s our first Christmas together and I just…I don't know, I had high expectations, I guess.”
Jin smiled weakly and squeezed Jimin’s shoulder in acknowledgement. “Life happens sometimes. It’ll all work out. Don’t let this Christmas pass you by.”
Jimin nodded, “Okay, yeah, I’ll come join you guys in a bit. Thanks, hyung.”
After Jin walked away, Jimin pulled out his phone to check the time. Instead, he was entranced by the photo of you that covered the lockscreen of his phone. Jimin beamed at the sight of you, but his smile lowered along with his spirits once he realized how far you were from him.
.
Your entire body shook with excitement as you got off the plane, despite the exhaustion that you should feel after a fourteen hour plane ride. Instead, you felt high on anticipation. He had no idea you were coming and that made you even more anxious, but in the best way.
You still had no idea how you managed to book a flight on Christmas, but that didn’t matter because you were finally here. You looked up at the sign above you, which read Incheon International Airport.
Hoseok was your partner in this crime, even sending a taxi to the airport for you. He was the only one who knew you were coming and you hoped he was doing his job of keeping the secret.
You didn’t think you were going to be able to make it, work and family troubles getting in the way, but fate has its way of making things work. It had been three months since you had seen him and your body tingled with anticipation as you began to think of being able to see him, hear him, touch him, taste him, feel him again. You wanted more than anything to feel his embrace, his body pressed against yours—tightly. You wanted to hear his voice, smooth like butter; to see each and every freckle and perfect imperfection that covered his body; you wanted him.
Before you knew it, the taxi was parked and the driver was pulling your luggage out of the trunk.
.
He was doing his best to get into the spirit, he really was, but it wasn’t working out all that well. Everything he tried to do reminded him of you, so he found himself back of the sofa, where you used to be.
He heard a knock at the door and waited for someone else to get it—all the guys were running around, someone else could grab it. Except, no one did. After a few moments Jimin pushed himself up from the couch and made his way to the door, opening it without hesitation.
He was nowhere near prepared for the rush of emotions that hit him as he saw you standing in front of him, sparkling eyes, goofy smile, and all. Before he could give a reaction other than shock, you leaped into his arms. You wrapped your arms around his neck and clung to him like you hadn’t seen him in years. After a second, Jimin returned the favor and squeezed your waist and you could feel every emotion shared between the two of you: excitement, desire, love, and so much more.
This moment made every late phone call, every desperate moment away from each other, every painful second, worth it. It felt like the emptiness in your chest was being filled and you could finally breathe. Before you knew it, the tears were flowing and there was nothing you could do to stop them. You felt Jimin dig his fingers into your sides gently, as if he was afraid to let you go—like you might somehow disappear suddenly, or that you may not even really be there. Then you felt it, his stomach cave in, the tears hitting your shoulder, his body shaking as he wept in your arms. You attempted to grip his body tighter, as if it were even possible.
You eventually pulled away from his embrace and placed your hands on either side of his face, using your thumbs to wipe away his tears.
“Surprise…” you giggled quietly, sniffling. Jimin smiled widely at that and went for a kiss, pulling you back into his embrace. If his hug had been magical, his kiss felt other-wordly. You kissed him back with a passion that you didn’t know you had. He kissed you desperately, like he would never get a chance to feel your lips again.
When you pulled away, you looked behind Jimin and noticed all the boys had crowded around the two of you, clapping and taking photos. Hobi was in the middle of them, smiling like a proud mother with his hands placed neatly over his heart.
When Hobi noticed you looking over, he came over to the both of you and wrapped his arms around your shoulders. “Wow, oh my god, this is—this is too precious.”
You laughed and leaned into him, silently thanking him for all that he had done to help make this happen. Hoseok let go of the both of you and grabbed your luggage.
“Okay, okay, let’s leave them alone. They have a lot of catching up to do.” He said as he carried your luggage out of the room and shuffled the other members out of the room.
“Hyung, I wanted to say hi to her…Can I go say hi?” You heard Jungkook whine as he was nudged out of the room.
“Later, I’m sure they want to be alone right now,” Hoseok turned back and winked at the two of you before disappearing down the hall.
You both laughed and Jimin turned back to you, wrapping his arms firmly around your waist before lifting you up. You squealed and instinctively wrapped your legs around him, giggling as he carried you over to the couch and sat down on it, placing you on his lap, legs on either side of him.
You both stared at each other, amazed that you were back together.
“So… how?” Jimin asked, looking up at you as he tangled his fingers in your hair. “How did you get here?”
“Well, would you rather me not be here?” You asked and pretended to get up, but Jimin held you in place firmly.
“No, no! Of course I want you here! I just thought—you had said that—I didn’t think—” He stuttered, and you shushed him with a peck to the lips.
“Relax…I was just playing with you. Don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere.” You reassured him, cupping his face in your hand. “I didn’t think I would be able to make it either,” you continued. “A few days ago, things started to clear up at home and it looked like I would be able to make it, so I was talking to Hoseok about it and he helped me get here. We both owe him a big thank you,” you smiled warmly.
Jimin’s smile returned as he leaned into your touch, “God, I missed you…I didn’t know I could miss someone so much.”
“I missed you too,” you spoke into his neck, causing him to shrink away from you, breaking out into a giggle.
“That tickles!” He exclaimed.
You lifted your head from his neck, giggling along with him when you remembered the gift that you had brought him.
“Oh! Wait here.” You ordered as you jumped up from his lap, running to grab something from your luggage. You returned a few moments later, holding a gift behind your back. “So, it’s not much…but it is Christmas, so I got you something.” You stated, revealing the gift in your hands. He grinned and took the gift from your hands and you sat on the couch beside him.
“Can I open it?” He asked, looking to you for approval.
“Of course!” You replied, eagerly awaiting his reaction.
He pulled at the wrapping paper and opened the small box, revealing a set of couple bracelets, “Oh, babe...I love them. Thank you.” He beamed, leaning over to peck you on the lips before pulling the bracelets out of the box. You reached over to help him put his on, and he returned the favor.
“Do you really like them?” You asked, looking at the bracelets side by side.
“I love them, babe. I really do. I just… I don’t have a present for you yet, cause I didn’t think I’d be seeing you, so I feel bad…” Jimin sighed.
You smiled and pulled him over to cuddle into you. “That’s okay. Being with you is the best present I could’ve ever asked for.”
Jimin chuckled and laid his head on your chest, tightening his arms around your waist. “That was pretty cheesy.”
“Maybe, but it’s true.” You smiled, twisting tendrils of his around your index finger. “Besides, you can make it up to me this week. You still haven’t bought me that sushi you promised a few months ago.” You giggled.
“Ah, that’s right,” Jimin chuckled. “Okay, we’ll go get some sushi tomorrow and maybe even see a movie. How does that sound?”
“Perfect. As long as I’m with you, I’ll be happy.” You sighed in contentment, closing your eyes and taking in the moment.
If only it would stay like this forever, you thought to yourself.

note: Repost from old blog!
It was a Friday night and the boys invited you over. You had been working a part time job in the restaurant above their company for a few weeks when you first met them and you had all been best friends since then. They basically invited you everywhere. They were like your big brothers and best friends all wrapped into oneーwell, most of them, anyways. You and Namjoon always had a different relationship. You were certainly close with him, just not quite in the same way that you were the other boys. You and Namjoon had something different. You were always reminded of this on nights spent with all the boys.
“Yah! Y/N! Why do you only pay attention to Namjoonie?” Jimin pouted, obviously already tipsy. You had brought over alcohol, as per request of Jungkook and Jimin, the babies of the friend group, despite still being older than you
Your face blushed deeper, already flushed red from the little bit of alcohol in your system and you took a step back from Namjoon, having leaned in close to him as the two of you giggled. “I pay attention to everyone equally! You know I love you all,” you giggled, doing your best to play it off.
That’s not true, you thought to yourself. While you really did love them all, you knew you gave Namjoon more attention than the other members, but that’s because it was just… different. Everything was different with Namjoon. You were closer, but in a different way. There was something else there, you were just never quite sure how to pinpoint what it was.
“Guys! Let’s play a game!” Tae shouted, running down the hall. He slid into the living room on his socks, giggling. “I wanna play a game!” He shouted again.
“Well, what game do you want to play?” You asked, desperate to change the subject. Namjoon stayed in place, leaned against the counter behind you, eyes shifted down at the drink in his hand.
“Truth or dare! It’ll be fun, come on, Y/N! Guys, come on!” He grabbed you by your wrist and pulled you down to the floor with him. He crossed his legs and sat upright, nudging you to do the same. You smiled and decided to follow suit, crossing your legs and placing your arms in your lap. Hoseok quickly threw himself onto the floor beside you, drink in his hand. He rested his head on your shoulder and smiled up at you. Then Yoongi was follow by the rest of the boys until Namjoon was the only one still standing.
“Yah, Namjoon-ah! Come on!” Jin shouted and patted the spot next to him.
“I don’t think I’m gonna play. You guys have fun.” Namjoon said, seeming down.
“Oh yes you are,” Yoongi said before he pulled Namjoon down beside him, “Now let’s play.” Namjoon fell down beside him and sat up, fixing himself.
“Okay, okay, who’s gonna go first?” Tae asked, obviously excited.
“Let Y/N go first! She bought all the alcohol. It’s only fair.” Jungkook said and nodded in your direction.
“Oh, me? Oh, uh… okay.” You stuttered and looked around the circle, eyes landing on Jimin first, “Okay, since you think I don’t give you enough attention, truth or dare, Jimin?”
Jimin giggled, sitting up straight, “Ah… okay… Dare!” He exclaimed.
“I dare you to… chug a bottle of Soju. You drink well, don’t you?” You giggled as you grabbed a bottle of soju from behind you and pushed it in his direction.
Jimin cocked his eyes at you and nodded, “Alright, dare accepted, Y/N… I see you,” he smirked and twisted the bottle open. He took a deep breath and placed the bottle to his lips, turning his head up to the sky as he down the entire bottle without a problem.
“Wah, what a man!” Jin laughed as Jimin slammed the bottle down with a sigh of satisfaction. They all clapped in awe, a few reaching over to pat Jimin on the back.
“Okay, okay, now it’s my turn! Y/N, truth or dare?” Jimin asked firmly, seemingly unphased.
“Me again? Truth, I guess,” you shrugged.
“Okay, is it true that you like Namjoon?” Jimin asked bluntly and you fell awkwardly silent, a few of the boys chuckling to themselves. You looked to Namjoon who was blushing, trying his best to cover his face nonchalantlyㅡand failing.
“Of course I like Namjoon,” you said, trying to play it off. “I like all of you, why wouldn’t I?”
“Yah, stop playing games. You know what I mean.” Jimin persisted.
You fought to hide the blush that threatened to cover your entire being and sat up uncomfortably. “Iㅡyeah. Yeah, I like Namjoon. Jin, truth or dare?” You quickly changed the subject, trying to look calm as nerves attacked your body like a warzone.
“Wow, Y/N is so brave. Oh my god, is it hot in here or is it just me? Wow. Oh, oh my goodness.” Jin erupted, dramatic as always.
“Oh, come on, pick one!” You said hurriedly.
“Okay, okay, gosh! So mean. You hurt me, Y/N.” Jin groans dramatically and clutches his chest. You glare at him and he laughs, “Alright, truth. I pick truth.”
“Is it true that you ate Yoongi’s snacks last week and blamed it on Jungkook?” You asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Me? Oh, oh my gosh, how could you? I would neverㅡI did notㅡI would notㅡYes. Yes, I did.” Jin laughed loudly.
“Hyung, I told you! You didn’t believe me!” Jungkook whined to Yoongi.
“Okay, okay, I believe you!” Yoongi sighed, annoyed with everyone in the room at this point. You laughed in relief, thinking that you had finally successfully changed the subject for good.
“Okay, Namjoon, truth or dare?” Jin asked.
“Uh…truth,” Namjoon replied, unsure.
“Okay, is it true that you begged me to get Y/N’s number for you when we first saw her?” Jin laughed loudly, already aware of how much he was embarrassing both Namjoon and you.
Namjoon sighed in frustration and covered his eyes in embarrassment. “Why would you do this to me?” Namjoon asked, defeated.
“Yah, just answer it!” Jin continued to laugh.
“Yeah, I did. I asked you to get her number for me. I did that,” Namjoon replied, seemingly more confident than before.
“Hyung, it’s your turn now,” Jungkook said, nudging Namjoon.
Namjoon looked around the circle of people and focused his eyes on you. He had a look in his eyes, a look that was different than usual. “Y/N, truth or dare?” He asked and you froze in place.
“Dare,” you replied without even thinking about it. Your heart was hammering inside your chest and you could feel your stomach in your throat.
Namjoon stared into your eyes with an intensity that you didn’t recognize and your breath began to quicken.“I dare you to kiss me,” he said without hesitation.
The whole room erupted in squeals and howls and your heart pounded in your chest harder than before. You stared at him in awe, your mind begging you to stay seated and your body begging you to leap in his direction and kiss him as hard as you could. But instead of doing either of those things, your mind and body made a deal and decided on something in between.
You finally lifted yourself and crawled across the floor in his direction before stopping right in front on him, sitting on your knees. You could hear all the other boys giggling and howling behind you, but you tuned them out. Namjoon bravely looked you in the eyes and his lips turned into a smirk.
“Well?” He chuckled and you smiled, biting your lip with embarrassment. You took a deep breath and closed your eyes before leaning in, bringing your lips toward his. Your lips finally grazed his and your breath hitched with excitement. Namjoon pushed forward the rest of the way and suddenly his lips were pressed firmly against yours.
You felt your entire body go weak as you melted into the kiss. He placed a hand on your cheek and kissed you harder. He pulled apart, only slightly, to let his tongue graze your bottom lip. You parted your lips and your tongues met, intertwining as you let out a sigh. Namjoon placed his other hand on your thigh and suddenly you were reminded of where you were and your mind forced your body to pull away in a nervous panic. You didn’t even look him in the eyes before you crawled back to your seat in a hurry, your face red like the wine you had been drinking. You pulled your sweater up, despite the heat that covered your flesh. You hid your face behind your hands, both excited and embarrassed.
“Wowㅡthat was unexpected,” Hoseok chuckled as you tried to shrink yourself down. You wanted to disappear, your entire being doing all that it could to shrink down as small as humanly possible.
“Well, Y/N, it’s your turn!” Tae shouted, then giggled, so drunk he might pass out at any given moment.
“IㅡI have to pee,” you stated nervously and ran for the bathroom. You made it to the bathroom and slammed the door shut behind you. You turned to face the mirror and stared at yourself in shock.
What the fuck just happened? You thought to yourself. A smile spread across your face. We just kissed. Namjoon and I just kissed. You shivered with excitement. You began to laugh, shocked at the entire event.
“Okay, okay, calm down.” You giggled once more and took a deep breath, doing your best to regain your composure before heading back out. You opened the door, eyes facing downward. You took a step forward and you ran face first intoㅡ “Namjoon?” You asked, eyes wide as you looked up at the man in front of you.
Suddenly, you were being pushed back into the bathroom. Namjoon shut the door behind him and pressed himself against you. His hands grabbed at your hips. “Is this okay?” He asked.
“YㅡYes, yes, it’s okay,” you choked out, all of the nerves rushing back.
“Good,” he smirked down at you. Before you could say anything else his lips were on yours, his body pressed flush against yours. You replied with a hand on his chest and a kiss that screamed more. One of his hands slipped past your hip and onto your ass, squeezing gently as you pushed into him. You hummed against his lips in satisfaction, reaching up to clutch his hair in your fingers. You grabbed his lip between your teeth and bit down gently, drawing out a moan from him. You wanted to smile, proud of your accomplishment. Before you could, he was pushing his tongue past your lips and pushing against you harder, doing all that he could to bring his body as close to yours as humanly possible. He reached his other hand under your ass and hoisted you up onto the sink, placing himself between your legs. You giggled, shocked at his strength.
“What?” He chuckled darkly, his voice thick with lust.
“Nothing, nothing,” you continued to giggle. He smiled and leaned down, his lips foregoing yours to meet with your cheek. He trailed kisses from your cheek down to your neck, biting down gently. You let out a sigh of pleasure and you could practically feel him smirk with satisfaction against your skin. He continued to kiss your neck as you reached under his shirt, eager to feel his bare skin in your hands. He jerked back slightly at the initial touch of your cold hands but quickly leaned into them.
The two of you were quickly caught off guard when Tae knocked on the bathroom door. “I have to peeeeee,” he whined into the crack between the wall and the door. The two of you quickly jerked away from each other, damp with sweat and high with nerves.
You looked at one another nervously and you spoke quickly. “Use the other one! My… uh… my tummy hurts.” Tae whined again, but didn’t argue and made his way to the other bathroom.
You both sighed in relief simultaneously as you heard him leave the doorway. Your sigh was followed by giggles from each of you. Namjoon rested his back against the door, leaning his head back, Adam’s apple bobbing as he swallowed.
“So that was uh… something, huh?” Namjoon chuckled awkwardly.
“Yeah… you could say that,” you smiled as you fixed your clothing and hopped off of the sink. “I’ll take this as a sign that you like me back, yeah?” You asked, gazing up at him. He peered his eyes down at you without moving his head before squeezing his eyes shut and smiling from ear to ear.
He pulled himself from the door and took a step forward. He took your cheeks in his hands and squeezed gently, his dimples deep enough to drink from.
“God, you’re fucking cute,” he laughed and flattened his palms against your cheeks as he pulled your head to his lips, placing a firm kiss on your forehead. “Yes, I do like you. I always have. Isn’t that obvious?” He asked as he pulled you into a tight hug, your face fitting perfectly into his curve of his chest.
He pulled away and beamed down at you. “We should get back out there,” he suggested unwillingly. You nodded, but didn’t move. “What?” He chuckled, noticing your lack of movement.
“One more kiss?” You asked, touching a finger to your lips.
“Okay, one more kiss,” Namjoon grinned and placed a gentle kiss on your lips.
Yeah, you could say your relationship with Namjoon was… different.

Funny how yall spent so many days fighting with EACH OTHER, regarding the idols’ cultural appropriation matter rather than coming together to educate the idol about it instead.
A lot of Asians don’t know about this since there’s a lack of cultural mix in each country and the language barrier makes it worse to know what’s okay and what’s not.
I’m not black so I can’t speak about this matter, but I’m brown and my culture is taken as a joke too so I can say I have a fair idea of what it feels like, not completely but fair enough.
Stop fighting with each other and fucking try to educate those idols who’re messing up, comment on their posts or live streams. make this issue something they see everywhere to ask themselves “wait what’s wrong?”. Comment on their tweets, posts, anything. At first do it politely. Find a way to convey the message and if they still act ignorant then you’re allowed to do whatever honestly.
The fight isn’t between you guys sitting at home and making this into a fandom war or a racial debate, all that’s up to you is taking the privilege of being educated about this matter and helping other people stop doing what’s wrong. Stop arguing and let the idols know.
Edit: look at @sea-comet ‘S post.

Also I’m 15 don’t come at me I’m still learning too

#4YearsWithMonstaX
time really does fly when you’re enjoying the moment. i can’t believe it’s already been 4 years since their debut. i am so proud of everything they have accomplished in these 4 amazing years. i’m glad to be a fan of these 7 wonderful men. they are so inspiring and have brought so much joy in my life. thank you for being there to lift me up when i’m down. seeing how they’ve gone through so much and yet still be the humble and cheerful people they are really reminds me of how nothing is given for free. they had worked so hard through the pain and suffering of being in No.Mercy to struggling to get their first win. despite all that they were able to achieve that and so much more. i’m so proud to have been there through all their accomplishments and i hope to continue walking this flowery road with them for a long time. thank you monsta x and happy anniversary!
