Why would you leave a comment like that on that werewolf art, what is wrong with you? What if someone said that about you in real life?

I will just start out by saying that I was not trying to be offensive, I was trying to make a joke.

For all those who have no idea what anon is talking about there was a post I saw recently of some werewolf art someone made (unfortunately I didn’t like it so I can’t find it) The bottom drawing I couldn’t really tell the gender of the character. So I commented “Is that bottom guy a dude or a lesbian I can’t tell”

The reason I said this is because I was recently seeing jokes made by people about how some lesbians dressed a little more androgynous to masculine; there’s a short series on yt called “Adam Sandler or a lesbian”, and the game was to guess whether the outfit was worn by a lesbian or Adam. I thought all this was pretty funny.

Now, I get that tone and intention can be pretty hard to read, especially on the internet. Which is why to your third question I say that it really all depends on context, relationship to the person, inflection of their voice, the list goes on. But in retrospect I can see how it can seem like i was just some rando being a Jackass.

I didn’t want to just ignore this so I figured I would be honest with you guys. And to you, anon, I’m sorry that I offended you. Thank you for encouraging me to do better in the future.
