Gideon keeps a journal, sort of. It's filled to the brim with diagrams and sketches mostly, with notes in-between. Occasionally he'll write about something that's bothering him, but it's usually about something breaking down rather than him doing any sort of reflection. Though there is the odd page where he attempted to write some feelings down and just gave up.

Sometimes there are tiny doodles of him and his friends included in the margins and tiny spaces in between the important looking machinery.

Retconning the rest of the crew to be largely made up had the (possibly) unintended effect of making Pyke and Rett's partnership feel a lot more intimate.

Before, it was like a bunch of siblings living together, now, it was just the 2 of them. Alone on that ship, for days.

It's insane that no one is discussing the meaning of the rooms in the Crooked House. How it revealed the path ahead of the Witch Hunters and the decisions they would have to make to achieve their true form.

Jericho dancing to Vergil's tune and having the Gals and then Pazuzu be taken away, as he would follow Vergil's plan to rid them of the ones trying to control them.

Lethica sacrificing the doll to Bag, as she would in the future sacrifice the Lurker.

Marius destroying Faustim's statue, as he would in the future abandon Lathander.

Brigsy destroying the perfect ship with a cannon, as he in future choose power over his dream.

And Yorgrim, fated to die. I wonder if that was always the step he would take for his metamorphosis or if Nikkie had to change his room.

And I also wonder what the room made for Farryn would like.
