waiting mode

So waiting mode. Something I struggle with. I do have it with appoinments but not that badly what really makes me paralysed are packages.

And currently I am in waiting mode hell.

I've been waiting for this package now for 3 days. Every day the parcel service tells me:

Your parcel will be delievered today.

I kinda knew it wouldn't arrive the first day not that bad. But the longer I wait my brain will fixate more and more on this.

Tuesday they even send me an email yay your package is coming soon ^-^

And i was like yay. It doesn't help that the thing in the package is something I really really want. So I wait. And wait. I watch the package come closer and closer on the web page. And then goes away further and fursther until the page just says. There are no information on the package, try again later. I did. This info popped up at about 1.30 pm. Guess when i fell asleep. 11pm. I even woke up in the middle of the night checking if they now know where my package is. No.

I was lucky I got to go back to sleep there but I know it was close.

I got to work today but I can't cause my brain has been so fixadet on this.

Today at 6am they decided yo your package is back at the distribution cented it started yesterday. It will arrive today soon ^-^

And again I wait excited happy that my torment will finally over.

The time when the parcel is supposed to arrive comes closer and closer and then, the side changed there is no information currently try again later.

I am devastated. And exhausted. I really have other problems than this parcel. But I can't do anything but wait and obsess over this package. I am stuck and I hate it.

Am now hoping that customer service will get back to me soon.

If anyone has any ideas how to deal with this is welcome to tell me because I am so done.

The 2023 Gender Census is now open!

The 10th annual international gender census, collecting information about the language we use to refer to ourselves and each other, is now open until 9th May 2023.

It’s short and easy, about 5 minutes probably.

After the survey is closed I’ll process the results and publish a spreadsheet of the data and a report summarising the main findings. Then anyone can use them for academic or business purposes, self-advocacy, tracking the popularity of language over time, and just feeling like we’re part of a huge and diverse community.

If you think you might have friends and followers who’d be interested, please do reblog this blog post, and share the survey URL by email or at AFK social groups or on other social networks. Every share is extremely helpful - it’s what helped us get 40,000 responses last year.

Hey uhm this is my first post on this blog but most certainly not my first on tumblr. I need to write this I don't know if I wil blog again or not but please listen to this:

YOUR GENDER IS NOT AN INCONVENIENCE TO OTHERS!

You deserve to show yourself to set boundaries becuase of your gender. And if the oter person feels offended that is their problem you do not have to apologise or fix anything.

No matter if you're a trans woman a trans man, non-binary, genderfluid, bigender, agender, genderqueer or any other gender (if you want me to add anyothers I can't think of at the top of my head just comment amd I edit the post).

You deserve to be heard and respected you can be loud and open and proud and base your life around your gender.

And this goes without saying BUT:

ALL OF THIS ALSO GOES FOR YOUR SEXUALITY!
