Me when I realize that I’ve made the same type of oc x canon three times in a row for three different superhero fandoms. Their color schemes are all yellow/orange too guys, like what. Why am I so predictable???

I’m sooooooo mentally ill. I miss my wife so bad, it’s so bad.

Meet Senna Cullin (Last name pending… it might change.). She grew up in the same shady government facility as Rex, so they’re childhood besties and were each others first crushes. And then he ran away and left her behind whoopsie, trust issues ✨. She ended up later rescued by the GDA, and despite being given options to live a normal life after everything, she chose to become an operative in the stealth operations division. Because her whole ability, what I’ve been calling dead fields, completely and utterly deprive the area around her of the senses. No sound, no smell, and no sight practically. It effects her too, but growing up with it she kind of has learned how to navigate it. I wouldn’t say ‘easily’, but she knows how to do so.

Also, I just gotta say, gestures at Rex’s backstory, I really wish they fleshed it out better because I have been pulling and grasping at strings. I had to look into the comics to get more specifics compared to what I know about it from the show, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing obviously, but like- even the comics don’t really cover it well. I know he’s a background character technically, but man I wanna know more about that shady business. They were apparently government run, but Cecil doesn’t seem to have any connections to it at all, which has me under the impression it wasn’t something mandated under his station- especially because at one point Rex was like- ordered to kill Cecil??? They’re not on the same terms and I wanna know more but it’s so hard reading the comics easily. I can’t find them all in easy access.

I bring, once again, some of my DC ocs who I posted about before; Halla-Kann and Alessia Horn. Aka “I looked at superbat and made them into lesbians”.

A funny thing about these two, I made them originally to be shipped with different male canon characters, but then I kind of just stared at them for a hot minute and went “they should hold hands” and now they’re wives.

Back once more, it’s another oc from Melded Realms!

Today’s lucky contender is Pherenike, and like- ya’ll I love her so much. She’s so pretty. She’s an icon.

So, once more for a yap fest; the Eloraith! These are residents of Caeprice originally like previously mentioned Syrmor and Monus- and also Luxents. There’s a lot of races from the Caeprice realm, lolol. So, the Eloraith are essentially a name for the fae in this universe. Separated into five main divisions each ruled under a different Fae King. These divisions are usually classified based on the type of invertebrates that originates from that region. Oberon’s realm is that of essentially “the catch all”. It includes all those random sort of invertebrates that aren’t just insects, crabs, snails, worms, and spiders, which is what Pherenike and her family are. Which is why they have multiple limbs. And yes, I know, spiders have eight limbs, she only has six, listen fitting one more pair of arms is very hard. I gave her eight big hair pompfs, please let me live in peace /pos.

But yeah, that’s Pherenike, or Phi as I will probably more often call her.

Helloooo. It’s been a little bit, been busy with work. Once again, another redesign! Today’s is Spurius, whose been a hellish design to reinvent. I’ll probably share the old designs eventually, but bro used to be a “evil elmo” in appearence. I kid you not, he was so goofy. But now he’s a Syrmor/Monus hybrid!

What’s a Syrmor? Well, Syrmor are one of the many species of Melded Realms. Originating from the seas of Caeprice, a fantasy realm, are basically sirens/mermaids of the world. The Syrmor are seperated into two specific classifications. Aves and Skals. Because, technically, Sirens in original texts of Greek Mythology were bird-like, more like harpies, than fish-like as they are in modern day. And I like portraying both sides of the representation, so I made them into two classifications.

Aves are often sailors, pirates, and generally stick over top the seas.

Skals meanwhile remain under the sea (yes that was purposeful).

So, that leaves explaining what “Monus” are. And that’s the easier thing to explain, because they’re just Humanity. Which is why he’s so humanoid, and why he also doesn’t have any wings. But, you must wonder why he’s got a snake tail? And there’s like 2. Answers for that.

Humanity and it’s connections with snakes is so interesting, I’ve been taking a mythology class this semester and they just are so commonly problem causers and ‘evil’. From the snake of Eden to Apophis of Egyptian mythology, and don’t get me started on Loki and snakes, and then the world snake of Yggdrasil— there’s just so many snakes. It just felt right to give Shatter that little detail.

The real answer is Dungeon Meshi because I was watching it while designing him. And it worked so well since he was a lizard before he was a bird.

And yeah, it's a definitely nice stop! Jaws was actually the one to recommend I made a ice cream parlor, as they became common social places for people to gather at during the alcohol ban. As for if they're allowed to talk about cartel things, I think me and jaws have joked about it before. The parlor's considered 'neutral ground' in the universe, so there tends to be some intermingling and speakeasy murmurs that float around the patrons, so it's entirely possible that one of the employees have over heard something they maybe probably definitely shouldn't of heard of 😰

Hiii!!! so with your post about you and jaws's OCs, you mentioned that the cartel "came across" The Sweet Asylum (the ice cream place, hope I got the name right!)

What does "came across" mean? Has it become sort of a home base for them? :O

I suppose regardless it'd be pretty cute to see all those characters just hanging out and having some ice cream (does the asylum make their own? any special flavors?)

When the Cartel dropped into St. Louis, they ended up stopped at the parlor for a bite to eat. They enjoyed the vibes of the establishment, and ended up making it a common stop! The Cartel has a base elsewhere, as Jaws tells me "somewhere more refined".

They do all in fact vibe and eat ice cream at the parlor often, and so does some residents of Lackadaisy and Marigold in our little timeline. The Asylum does in fact make their own ice cream too! I've not made any original flavors yet since I've been reworking the staff, but they've got a bunch of classics and other such. I even assign most of the residents their own specific flavor, and have headcanons on what most of the canon and fanon characters probably would order based on vibes. :)

Hello, thank you so much! It's one of my favorite little stories me and Jaws have come up with ^^.

As for the question; they are in a romantic bond :D. The two of them met a little while after the Cartel entered, out in front of a bakery. Since Artemio hadn't had any american currency, he couldn't grab anything and was just looking at the nice bakery goods while waiting on getting picked up. Odd, who getting bread for the speakeasy, ran into him, and out of the goodness of her heart, got him a loaf as well.

Little did they know though that they'd meet again, quite literally hours later. As the Cartel may or may not have a working arrangement with Lackadaisy in this timeline. And the two are very very silly, we've got so much on them but I don't wanna make this too long :>

Hiiiii, I’m here again, more fandom oc art. ✨

These are actually both my own and my friend, @xjdjaws, ocs! We’ve been making a bunch of ocs for Lackadaisy universe and yapping about them for like a year now, and they’re great.

This isn’t even all of them, he’s got like 5 more I have to design and I have 4 more ocs of my own. But these are the ones I’ve drawn so far; (And yes… I know most my costuming is probably historically inaccurate… I am about style more than accuracy and I will not apologize /pos)

We’ve got two lil groups of our own; Jaws’ ocs are part of the Orquidea Cartel, all of which were from Belize originally, came up to ST. Louis to establish a trading route. And through that, they ended up coming across a sweet little ice cream parlor; my lil slice of life, The Sweet Asylum. Which has gone through so many different iterations, and before I even had the Asylum, I had a “the gays” speakeasy. But I decided that was boring, and decided Ice Cream was better.

Susanna “Rosenrot” Petrov: A songstress who was born in Russia with her sister, Valya. After a divorce of her mother and father though, she was brought into the Americas where her dad brought her up into the music industry from an early age. She ended up spending most of her life carefree and without much pain. At least, until she heard the news of the war over in Russia, finding a photograph of her sister, who had been disguising as a man, in one of the newspapers that America was posting at the time. When the white army lost. She dropped everything to see if her sister would arrive on one of the boats to California, eventually reuniting with her after years. And now the two have made residence at The Sweet Asylum.

Oddrún Utkin: Born in a religious town I will probably never name, Odd has dealt with a bunch of religious guilt and being perfect and all that good religious trauma stuff. When she was 10 she made a mistake though, and to repent, her parents used a cow brand to burn in a cross into her neck. Which, wow, that sucks. So she ended up running away, as far as she could, ending up on the streets of ST. Louis. And because this story was just friend yapping, I had the full jurisdiction to go “yeah so Viktor picked this kid up and now she’s his daughter figure” because “Viktor being a dad who can’t see his actual daughter so he acts like a dad to everyone else” is everything to me. She and Ivy are also absolutely sister girlies, Ivy helps her loosen up.

Artemio Nataniel: My friend’s oc! He’s also got religious trauma where it was also just a really bad community, but instead of running away from it and never looking back, Artie went back to the town and burned it down along with the help of the Cartel. With the fact they’ve saved him, he’s become pretty loyal, especially to Telmo who had led the mission. And when he heard Telmo was going to be sent up on a mission into the Americas, he offered himself to join the squad.

Telmo Humberto: Once more my friend’s oc, he’s OLD HE’S SO OLD- He’s not, he’s like- 32. But stare into his eyes, he’s so very tired. He’s the leader of this off branch and he’s a formal guy and all. I wish I could yap on him as much as the others, but also, he’s like- so weirdly self-fulfilled, he’s so traumaless. How dare you Jaws, making an oc that I can’t yap about easily. Smh.

Heloise Lecuyer; Gothamite from old blood rich money and father-daughter trauma that can only be healed through punching the extensive Gotham rogue catalogue.

Halla-Kann; My obligatory sunshine Kryptonian because I wanted to give the next character a sunshine girlfriend. Definitely wasn’t in a cryo stasis for like twenty years.

Alessia “Sissy” Horn; The said girlfriend of the sunshine Kryptonian, and a gothamite again, and occasional ally of the Waynes and their hijinxes despite being a pacifist.

Minerva Wernher; Metropolis down-on-her-luck college artist who keeps doing artwork of varying heroes on the sides of buildings to show they’re adored.

Maud Holst; A metahuman from the countryside, now moved to the big Star City trying to make a name for herself, both in modeling and in hero-work.

Laudine Holst; The younger sister of Maud who is running after her big sister’s footsteps, and, despite her sister, a hero as well.

There’s a lot more about them, and I might end up rambling about them later on here as well ^^

One of the characters from my world building project, Melded Realms. Resident of Maein City, a realm that is so creatively named it sickens me, I’ve been reworking a lot of it and the other realms for like- the past 3 years.
