Here is a SketchUp recreation of the podium from the game show Duel (also known as “Le Quatrième Duel"), which was a game show format created by the production company French TV. The show, which was developed in France, has had a troubling history. While the show was first developed in France, the United Kingdom was the first country in which was the show was commissioned and filmed, but the United States was the first country where the show actually aired (from December 2007-July 2008). The format actually lasted the longest in its native country of France, where it ran from 2008 to 2013.

Bianca Black

Back in 2015-2016, I created a sim named Bianca Black. This is the first sim I ever created for The Sims 4 (although I did not play it until 2019), and she received a major redesign.

Bianca Black is a fashion model and style influencer who lives in Willow Creek. She is married to Carson Rogers, a restaurant chef. Together the family have a total of two children, who are twins named John and Jennifer.

Bianca was born in Sunset Valley to Walter Black and Amelia King Black (née King), who were both stylists and butlers. She was raised by her parents at their house in Sunset Valley until she entered high school, where she was enrolled at a boarding school. One of her favorite classes at the boarding school was the fashion class, where she was enrolled with Mortimer Goth. She remained at the boarding school until she graduated, after which she accepted a job offer to become a style influencer in Copperdale. Her parents died shortly after she graduated from the boarding school. Upon accepting the job offer, Bianca was required to complete the fashion program at the University of Copperdale, where she met fellow culinary student Carson Rogers. The two fell in love witch each other and lived in a shared house on the campus.

Upon the completion of her last term at the university, Carson proposed to Bianca at the graduation ceremony. Bianca not only immediately accepted the proposal, but eloped, causing them to become instantly married. They would live in an apartment in downtown Willow Creek, where they would have their first two children, which would turn out to be twins named John and Jennifer; John is the older of the two twins by four minutes. The marriage to Bianca at the graduation ceremony caused Carson to resign from his part-time job.

Bianca is notable for her long, flowing black hair that has waves, which is used by many film actresses when they go to the Academy Awards (although she slicks back her hair for fashion shows and other formal events). The Spanish soccer jersey that she wears at sporting events is a link to her Spanish heritage; her father Walter was born to Spanish immigrants of European descent who had the last name Blanco (the color white), which formed the basis of her last name due to its lack of color.

Serenity Rune

Hello. This is Serenity Rune, a gothic rock/metal musician from Sunset Valley who first appeared in The Sims 3.

Serenity Rune, who was born a natural blonde, is the daughter of classical musician Steven Rune and science journalist Celia Avon. Growing up as a toddler, she initially stated that she was to be a classical musician just like her father was. However, by the time she was in elementary school, she began disliking classical music and started listening to metal. Upon reaching high school, she bleached her hair and decided to cut it into a shaggy hairstyle with a bang completely covering her left eye, a hairstyle she would go on to have for most of her career. She rocked numerous hair colors during high school (including blonde, silver, pink, and teal), but upon becoming a young adult, she took the plunge and decided to dye her hair jet black. She would later surpass her father to become the most honorable musician in the history of her family's legendary music career, which began with Steven's great grandfather. Nothing can stop her from pursuing the talent that she deserves.

Serenity Rune's influences are Emilia Suhonen (guitarist for hard rock band The Rasmus, who represented Finland at Eurovision 2022), Elize Ryd (lead singer of Swedish metal band Amaranthe), and Hayley Williams (lead singer of American emo rock band Paramore). Her traits are Music Lover, Active, and Loyal.

Serenity Rune shares her name with the Austrian metal band Serenity and the multiplayer video game Runes of Magic, but was not actually named after either property. She is instead named after the Serenity Falls lot in the console version of The Sims 2: Pets, with her last name coming from a reference to a quest in The Sims Medieval.
