I woke up and checked the time seeing that it’s 10:30am. i try to sleep a little longer but to no avail so, i get up. i go to the kitchen to get something quick to eat before getting ready for the day. “hey lix, you’re awake early for once.” seungmin says feigning shock. “yeah, yeah good morning seungmin.” i grab one of the protein bars we have and start eating it while watching whatever seungmin has on. once i’m done i head to the bathroom to start getting ready. I take a shower, brush my teeth. i get dressed then head back to the living room after grabbing belongings. “Imma head out min, is there anything you need.” i ask walking to the front door. “no, not that i can think of, i’ll text you.” he says going back to the tv.

i go walking around town then remember the coffee shop we had gone to. i head there to try a new coffee and to see if that barista is in today. when i walk in i see the barista and i immediately walk up to them to order. “hey y/n, i wanna try something new today. what’s your favorite coffee.” i ask them resting myself on the counter. “it’s really sweet i will warn you.” they say smiling. “that’s fine, i usually get one thing only so it’s nice to try something new.” i say back “i’ll go take a seat while waiting.” i start walking away to get a table.

y/n’s pov;

i go to the back to make the coffee. honestly, i wasn’t expecting him to comeback. usually, idols come in one time and then leave so, him coming back a second time surprised me. i take my time making the coffee since it’s only him in the store, since it’s a week day we’re really slow. Once i’m done making the coffee i bring it over to him. i stand there waiting to see if he likes it. “this is good, what kind is it.” he asks smiling. “It’s just a french vanilla late. i don’t usually get something too difficult.” i give him my order, explaining my thought process. “It’s good, thank you so much, i’ll be on my way, how much is it ?” he pulls out his wallet getting his card out. “It’s 7,152 won felix.” i turn around the pin pad. he pays for the coffee and waves on his way out. “Goodbye.” i wave back him.

i wait for my coworker to come in so i could leave. once they come in i tell them everything i did, tell them what they need to do. i clock out and head home to relax for a bit. when i walk into the house athena’s watching something in the living room. she looks up at me waiting for me. “hey, how was work today. you got off pretty early.” she pauses her show to listen to what i have to say. “it was good, it wasn’t busy at all, but that man came back in again. he wanted to try my order of coffee.” i say excitedly. “that’s good, it either means he wants you, or he just really likes the coffee shop.” she stands up heading to her room. “i have the night shift tonight though so imma start getting ready.” she says again getting her stuff ready. “okay, call me if you need to. i’m gonna unwind, have a good day at work.” i say sarcastically, walking off.

felix’s pov;

i go to a couple stores before heading back home. i had gotten some refills on stuff we all needed, as well as some stuff to spoil myself. i got back home and sat on the couch watching whatever was left on the tv. “you’re finally back, it’s been like four hours.” seungmin walks into the room. “yeah, i went walking instead of driving, and there were so many cool stores.” i say back showing him all of my bags. “i ordered food for us though, i know you would want some for whenever you came home.” he says showing me what he ordered. “okay, thank you, imma go change. i’ll be back.” i walk off to go get changed

y/n’s pov;

i wake up to the sound of my friend arguing with her boyfriend about something he did wrong again. i’ll never understand why they won’t break up already. i check the time noticing it was the perfect timing, i have to get ready for work soon.”why do i have to wake up at 7am to open a coffee shop.” i say getting out of bed. my friend and i split the bills to make it easier. so i found an easy job to work at to get the bills paid. while i’m getting ready all i hear is them continuing to argue. so, i start playing some music to drown it out. once i’m ready, i sneak out of the house so she doesn’t pull me into the argument.

felix’s pov;

“FELIX GET UP, WE’RE GONNA BE LATE SO HURRY.” i open my eyes and see minho above me yelling at me. “i’ll be ready in a second minho.” i say getting up heading to the bathroom. “since you woke up late you gotta pay for coffee this morning.” i hear changbin call out to me while i’m brushing my teeth. i don’t respond, i just roll my eyes at him. i come out with everything i need. “let’s go before we’re late.” chris says walking out the door. we pile into two cars to head to the coffee shop before going to the jyp building.

y/n’s pov;

i finish a small order, then see a group of eight walk in laughing and being loud. a man with long blonde hair comes up to me.”hello, i’m kind of in a rush, can i order 8 iced americanos.” he asks kinda fast. “i understand, is that all sir ?” i ask while putting the order. “Yes..” he looks down at my name tag “jace.” he smiles like he accomplished something new. “okay that’ll be 37,602 won.” i say as he pulls out his card, tapping it on the POS. i walk back making the coffees. “can you help me erin.” i ask my coworker. he walks over and reads the order. “who needs that much coffee ?” he asks shocked while he gets started making them. “those eight men over there.” i point over to the group sitting down talking real loud. “they said they’re in a rush so i’m trying to hurry it up, you know ?” I say getting done with my fourth one. erin grabs out the cup holders putting four in one and my four in the other. then he walks back to what he was doing. “group of eight” i call out and they look over. standing up to come and get their coffees. they come up to me getting their coffees. before they leave the man with long blonde hair comes up to me. “my name is felix by the way and these are my bandmates.” he says smiling. “nice to meet you and your loud friends.” i laugh back. he waves and leaves.

my shift finally ends so i clean up the shop making sure everything is ready for tomorrow. i pack all of my stuff to head back home. first i make a stop to get something to eat since all i’ve had today is pastries and coffee. i go into a convienence store to get some ramen and a drink. i head to checkout seeing the group of eight come in to the store. i get a little anxious since i had seen them earlier maybe they would think i’m stalking them. which wouldn’t make any sense since i got here first. i hurry up to leave so they don’t see me.

felix’s pov;

we finish up practice and head to the corner store to get some snacks before we head home. when we walk in i see the barista from this morning. but, she rushes out before i could walk up to her. she seemed kinda anxious fidgeting and looking down before she left. i ignore it continuing to grab what i wanted before we head to checkout. afterwards we head home i run to the bathroom immediately to get first dibs on showering, i hate feeling so sweaty after practice.

once i’m done i get out heading to the kitchen to eat something quick so i can go to bed. i lay in bed thinking back on my day. I remember the barista, their name was y/n right. tomorrow is my off day i want to get to know her more. they’re pretty and it sounds crazy but i would like to know them more. I can’t tell the other members because they’ll just laugh at me for liking someone so soon.

y/n’s pov;

once i get home i heat up my ramen to eat and then athena comes out of her room. “hey y/n, how was work today ?” she asks quietly. “it wasn’t too busy but a group of eight came in ordering americanos, one for each of them. it was crazy to me honestly.” i say taking my ramen out mixing in the packet. “were any of them cute, i finally broke up with that piece of shit i was dating,” she asks like i’ll probably ever see them again. “yeah, a couple of them seemed like your type, but there was this dude with them who was so cute. he had long blonde hair and freckles.” I say smiling before taking a bite of my ramen. “definitely your type, were they idols.” she takes my chopsticks after saying that. “honestly i think they are. he called them his bandmates.” she just smiles at me and walks away.

you’ve been dating dwayne now for a couple of months. it’s been going well for you and honestly you never thought meeting some guy on a boardwalk at night would be like this. he’s a sweetheart and anything like what those surf nazis would say about him. he also isn’t as broody as he would seem. he does like reading and fixing stuff but that’s not all. he loves painting and sketching. you’re a really big inspiration for him since he’s been alive for so long it’s hard to find something that really strikes him as “entertaining”.

“hi my love” i say as i walk into his corner of the cave. i walk up behind him and wrap my arms around him. he looks back at me smiling “hi pretty” he says to me before turning back. “what are you making this time ?” i ask while watching him paint. it’s not even halfway done to see what he’s drawing. “it’s one of those photos you took on your camera, the one of the sunrise.” he says quietly. i look at his face, watching him stay focused on the painting not even flinching when i blow into his face. “that’s good baby, i’m glad it gave you something to do. but, have you taken a break or fed yet ?” i ask a little concerned. “no i haven’t, i just want to get this done.”

I finally get him to take a break after a hard time convincing him. he goes off with the rest of the boys, and i stay finding something to listen to in his and paul’s shared music collection. i see bauhaus’ song bela lugosi’s dead. i immediately put it on waiting for them to come back. i start cleaning around the area since they barely ever clean up. it’s always a mess around here.

right as i get done cleaning they immediately show up. they have blood all over them and they look like their adrenaline high had just worn off. dwayne walked up to me smiling. “you seem to be more energetic after eating.” i state watching him. “yeah, i feel better actually. once i clean up i think i’ll stop painting for the night.” he says before getting ready to walk off. “i’ll be waiting in your nest, i love you.” i watch him nod as he walks off.

while i wait, i put his paint brushes up and close the paint he left open, putting them in color order. i get his nest ready for him and i get comfy. he comes in a little bit later cleaned up and a lot calmer. “thank you for putting the stuff away my love. i also see that you cleaned everything up in the rest of the cave, i appreciate that as well.” he comes over and lays down wrapping his arms over me. “of course, i know you guys will wait until it’s too bad before you clean and i don’t want that.” i say scooting closer to him. “I have a new book for you, i bought at the bookstore that’s in town.” i say pulling it out of my bag.

he grabs the book out of my hand looking at it intently. “a rose in winter.” he says reading the book aloud. “ why’d you get this ? the book just came out so i know it’s pretty expensive. i could’ve just stole it.” he says looking at me confused. “well, you like reading and i’ve also been wanting it when i heard it was a romance. you’ll read it to me right ?” i ask smiling. “of course, i’ll read it to you.”

we spend the rest of the night listening to calm music while he reads it to me. i fall asleep while he’s reading it. he puts the book away and falls asleep once it hits day break.

writers note: sad story for my comeback. i know it’s short but i was just going for whatever came to mind

bucciarati, the capo to the passione. the man who is supposed to be feared, the man who gets the bad people off the street. the love of your life. the man who has helped you so much even when you never asked. he’s a sweetheart and he never tells you about what he does. you know what he does though, he never hid that from you so you know you could be unsafe. he doesn’t want you to get hurt at all, even if it means risking his relationship with you.

one day instead of hearing his keys in the door you get a knock. you thought maybe he lost his keys, he kept you regularly updated so you wouldn’t worry too much. you open the door and instead you see mista and giorno. you look at them confused. “where’s bruno?” you ask genuinely confused. “we came to inform you that he passed away today, he got killed and there was nothing we could do about it.” they said looking down. like they were scared of your reaction. “thank you for telling me, go on with your night.” i immediately shut the door.

i go into my house and start crying. Never did you think your sweetheart fiance would end up dying a month before your wedding. never did you think you would only see mista and giorno when abbacchio said if bruno dies he would be the one telling you meaning he had died aswell. you also assume that narancia had died since mista and him were always together.

they hold a funeral for him that they most definitely invited you to. you don’t say a word when you’re there too scared to say anything because if you do you will start bawling. you go home and start crying again thinking about all of the memories you had with him. but, you would’ve had so many more memories with him if he didn’t pass. you would’ve been able to surprise him.

the surprise would’ve been that. you’re pregnant and now he’ll never know. your child will never meet their father. who was the best man you had ever met. you know you’ll never meet anyone like him ever again.

“who’s my dad?” your 8 year old daughter asks. you look over immediately “his name is bruno, he was the most kindhearted man, he would’ve taken care of you well. He passed away right as i became pregnant with you.” you say to her trying not to cry. she looks at you like she senses what’s wrong “i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to make you upset.” she mumbles. “no you didn’t do or say anything wrong my love, you deserve to know.” you say back hugging her. she deserves to know her father was a gentlemen and you’ll forever be sad that she’ll never meet him.

the house is very calm. it’s just you home, you are cooking for when your husband gets home. making his favorite dinner as a surprise. when your husband left for work. the girls were heading to a friends house, and you had told him you have no energy to cook. but you had been planning to surprise him with a good night in for a while, and this ended up being the perfect time. he’s been stressing himself out so much with work, and making sure you three have everything you need. he deserved this so much.

10:00pm

i made him seafood gumbo, something i had shown him when we first started dating. i was born and raised in the u.s, and it was something i loved to eat. so i made it for him once, and he’s never loved any other food more. i leave it on low heat so when he gets home it’s still warm. i head into the living room, and set up for movie night. two blankets are set up nicely on the couch, a movie is ready to be played. a candle is lit for atmosphere, and i have coffee table in front of the couch with snacks, and drinks just in case we watch more than one movie.

10:30pm

i hear the front door open, and close with the sound of him taking his shoes off afterwards. i walk over to him giving him a hug, and a kiss. “how was work my love.” i ask him while taking down his hair running my hands through it. “it was stressful as always, i’m glad to be home, are the girls here or did they go to their friends house?” he asks while leaning into my hands. “they’re at their friends house, we can have a movie night in.” i tell him grabbing his arms and pulling him to the room. “take a shower, and when you come back out we can get comfy.” he pulls me back for another kiss before letting me leave.

i get his bowl of food ready and set it on the coffee table. i get comfy on the couch waiting for him while i scroll through my phone. he comes out a little bit later in his sweatpants and his plain black shirt. “come sit i made some food for you.” he walks over looking at what i made, and once he sees it he smiles. “thank you dear, i know this took you a while, you said you didn’t want to cook what changed?” he sits down, and covers himself up grabbing his bowl of food. “i wanted to give you a relaxing night in without stress, and worry so i did this, i’m in the mood to make you happy.”

this whole night after we finished we watched many movies together. eating our snacks and cuddling. he fell asleep first, his head pressed against the arm chair with his arms wrapped around me. i lean back kissing his head. “i love you sugu, sleep well.” i rest my head against his chest, falling asleep after him.
