Okay, I've never written fics in English or even translated them before, but since I've started posting arts and videos, I think I should at least give it a try.

I'll start with a small piece, and if things go well, I'll translate the remaining four pages.

I have no idea how good or bad it'll be in translation, so if you feel like giving me feedback on it, feel free to do so.

Hughie can hardly remember when exactly warmth starts to appear in Butcher's gaze. Not the usual demonic fire burning in his eyes, always fueled and relentless, but a human glow — familiar yet strangely novel to Hughie.

Hughie notices it quite by chance: in the morning, he walks into the office with coffee for the whole crew, jokes around, laughs with Frenchie, and gets bear hugs from MM, and then unexpectedly catches sight of the unusually silent Butcher. He stands with his back to the panoramic window, leaning on his own desk, sipping his disgustingly bitter double espresso and staring in a manner that momentarily halts Hughie's motion.

His smile freezes, feeling Marvin's hand in his hair, squinting against the warm morning light flooding the office, and simultaneously feels like time is slowing down. Billy, on the other hand, takes a leisurely sip, hiding a strangely soft smirk behind his paper cup, winks, and turns away—going back to the same papers and folders he was sorting through before.

It doesn't immediately dawn on Hughie that Frenchie has been calling him not for the first time.

As is often the case, once you observe something for the first time, you start noticing it constantly.

Butcher continues to tease and joke around, like he always does, but something intangible is changing —Hughie feels it deep down in his soul. They begin to look into each other's eyes more often, and a completely new level of understanding and connection is established between them. Neither of them dares to verify what exactly has changed, but it seems like both are enjoying what's happening.

However, the ambiguous looks and philosophical remarks from Frenchie are becoming much more frequent. And oh, those understanding nods of his...

I fell for these two dorks absolutely by accident. I was searching for 'Hughie' for a text role-playing game and stumbled upon Soldier Boy. We ended up creating an amazing plot together, and it led to all this stuff.

I've made a few collages as illustrations for our game and even did a video edit (though Tumblr said it's 18+ content and hid it, lol). So, I thought I'd share at least this here.
