Hi Jackie!! I was wondering if you know any other artists or storyboard artist did reference sheet of Scarab or maybe work on Scarab scene or you may have seen reference sheet of him for working on the rough scene?
hello! yes, I worked off a reference sheet of him! if I remember correctly the ref I used was a drawing done by Adam.
if you keep an eye on @kingofooo the concept art/character design sheet of Scarab will prob be posted at some point!

Quick question! What was the hardest you had to do/work on in Fiona and cake? Also what did you have the most fun with?
Btw love your work! And I’m excited to see more of it! Have a wonderful day! Don’t forget to take breaks!
the hardest thing was definitely boarding on the finale episode; any finale episode of a show is gonna be a lot of work, and I wanted to make sure I did it justice!
the most fun part was all the nice people I worked with tbh! it's really nice to get feedback and ideas from directors. drawing-wise, the most fun was anytime I could draw Fionna because she was the most fun and easiest to draw, hehe

Do you have any tips on how to start storyboarding? Like methods on how to do so or different mediums to use? I’ve always wanted to make my own show so I think I’d be a good idea to learn the basics :]
tbh I'd just recommend using Storyboard Pro! it's industry standard for tv animation, and it's the only thing I can board in because it's super intuitive and just makes everything flow. it's very easy to learn as well. as for methods, I'd recommend watching your favorite shows/movies and doing shot studies to see the way the shots are composed. a lot of storyboarding really involves shot choices and cinematography

Hi! Hope you’re doing well— it’s my dream to work as a writer/storyboarder for a show like adventure time or Steven universe and I was wondering if you had any advice on how to get a foot in the door for that kind of career?
I love your work btw 💕
hello! i feel like you can find a lot of advice on this topic from other artists as well, so my answer is probably a pretty common one, which is just that it's a mixture of luck, timing, and skill/tastes lining up!
it's a difficult time in the industry right now so that can make things a bit harder. it took me nearly a year after art school to get my foot in the door with my first job, and I think it came from posting my art online and drawing stuff that I enjoyed, as well as doing different storyboard tests at studios.
definitely don't be harsh on yourself if it takes a long time to get your foot in the door! best of luck!

more boards from Fionna and Cake, with the scene at the little campfire in episode 8! had lots of fun with the expressions in this section. there's a few panels here that got cut for timing but I still like the drawings!
