Joy Con Charger

I recently purchased another gadget for the Switch. I have heard that joy con chargers that are not affiliated with the Nintendo brand have had some issues in the past, but I found one that has not ceased to amaze me.

This off market charger for the joy cons has been great to use and I will continue to use it every time we utilize the dual gaming on the TV. I often find that after a long gaming session the joy cons are pretty run down battery wise. It is easy to charge while you are playing the handheld Switch console, but when you have two or more sets to charge at once it can be a task in itself. This gadget makes it easy and for only AUD$13.82 you can’t go wrong!

The best feature is that the joy cons slot easily into the dock and the lights indicate whether it is charged or not. Obviously red for charging and green for finished. When the joy cons are not on the dock the light will remain green, showing that no power is pumping through the dock.

All in all, a great gadget for the avid Switch user and a must have!

Gaming Gadgets- Nintendo Switch Tempered Glass Screen Protector

For all those Switch owners out there, you know how hard it can be, not only to keep your screen clean but also free from cracks! I for one would be devastated if anything happen to my precious, electronic baby. Having just purchased one I have investigated into the best ways to keep it in pristine condition, I need that bad boy for Pokemon Sword in November! So, what is the best way to keep your Switch in tip top shape? Why not try this amazing tempered glass screen protector.

I found it on eBay recently, linked below, and it was only AUD$4.64 with free postage. I had to test it out. What would the quality be like? Would it match that of its much more expensive competition? I am not made of money, and forking out AUD$400 for my Switch has left me a little strapped, so I decided to give it a go. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised!

Firstly, it arrived a few days before it was due on my doorstep. Score! Instantly I unwrapped the tough packaging and found that the screen protector had its own little box, complete with everything you need. Plus, the box was made of cardboard, so into the recycling bin it went after I was done with it.

The initial step was cleaning and included was two cleaning cloths, first the wet and then the dry. Your screen needs to be super clean before you pop it on, otherwise you will be left staring at fingerprints and dust for quite some time.

Next, you will need to take that screen protector out of the case and peel off the protective plastic. Be careful not to touch it on the side that will be stuck soon to the screen of your switch. Ensure that you line up the top, flat edge with the bottom which has some indents there for the sensors on the bottom edge.

Lay it flat against the screen from one edge to the other. Make sure to go slow so that you minimize the chance of bubbles underneath. Tempered glass is less likely to cause bubbles but you still need to watch out for it. We all know how frustrating it can be to be looking at those for months on end.

Now you should have a perfect looking screen that will not crack before the protector breaks on you! That should put your mind at ease for now, just in case it is knocked off a table, bench or your lap by accident.
