SOUND AND MUSIC!!!! haha thats like that one musical the sound of music do you get it hahahahah anyway. added a sound of a jump using my roomie's guitar into my audio interface, I used a song I wrote a while back and implemented it in for vgm, and made a hurt sfx using synthesis!! YAYUHHHHH lets freaking go gamers. anyway uhhh there's not too much i can show here through pictures alone.

anyway whoopsie finally completed this assignment for a puzzle haha, the puzzle itself is a platforming challenge where you gotta not die. just like real life!! yea doesnt everything look so pretty and nice when its at MAXIMUM settings haha. anyway thats all for now :3

WHATS UP HOMIES!!!! today we're back with a color pallet test! I'm goin for a fun sci fi-space game so lots of blues and greens and cool colors fit pretty well. I created materials for both the main character and the platforms and used some prebuilt ones for those funky crystals! Anyway it looks much cooler now that its not just gray blobs, but I need to add some buildings and props a little later to make the world feel more lived in. anyway ciao that's all :3

WHATS UP HOMIES!!! We're back with another gamedev log, this time after I made a building wooo!!! Uhhh this was weird and clunky and rough cuz 1. I'm so used to modeling in blender this seemed like such an inefficient alternative LOL and 2. I'm not used to modeling architecture like even a little bit so this was a challenge. Heyhey!! This is Jacob Saint Pim comin atcha with the first installment of my game dev blog. I am COMPLETELY new to all things coding, UnrealEngine, game design, and the works, so I'll be cataloguing my progress throughout the Game Design course I'm currently enrolled in. I had a good time designing a landscape for this weeks assignment, as I'm well versed in the 3D sculpting tools of programs like Blender. Although I have to ask, why in god's name does every single software have to have different controls for zooming, panning, and rotating?!?!
