For those who needed this..

Honestly randomly felt like sharing this..so..confessional: I’ve been admitted to a hospital for attempting overdose on a medication I was prescribed to help with my depression and anxiety. It was months ago, but I honestly regret letting myself get that way. Reach out, ask for help. For fucks sake guys, the suicide hotline number is now even a song title. I’m not disgusted or mocking it, I’m saying it’s nothing to be ashamed of. Yeah, my mental health hasn’t been the best and probably won’t be because of a chemically unbalanced brain. I don’t post this for pity or anything, I’m just letting everyone who has been to that dark part of your mind for more than just a little while that there’s no shame in asking for help. In fact, you’re a bigger person by admitting you need the help and for seeking it out. You’re taking matters into your own hands this way, and admitting when you’ve had too much.
