The Maximum Ride series by James Patterson “Some kids get called “bundles of joy'” or “slices of heaven” or “dreams come true.‘” We got “the fifty-fourth generation of DNA experiments.” Doesn’t have the same warm and fuzzy feel. But maybe I’m oversensitive.”

Shout out to all those people obsessed with wings who read the entire Maximum Ride series because they convinced themselves the next book would be better but it just kept getting worse until you got to the end of the series and realized you would never recover the hours you lost forcing your way through it.

The Thousandth Floor by Kathrine McGee - 9/10
“Set the year 2118, The Thousandth Floor tells the story of 5 kids who live in the thousand floor tower that encompasses the entirety of Manhattan.
The Thousandth Floor leaves the reader begging for more.”
My full opinion and essay can be found here. I will be reading and reviewing the rest of the series at some point. Send me suggestions for the next book I should review.

Maximum Ride by James Patterson - 6/10
“Maximum Ride is an 8-book series that focuses on Max and 5 other kids who have 2% avian DNA mixed in with the rest of their human DNA. This causes some major changes in the makeup of their bodies, the main one being that they have large wings attached to their bodies.
I highly suggest this book for young girls who need to see a badass woman in their life. Max is a strong female lead, one who doesn’t take shit from anyone and despite her emotional façade most of the time, we get to see that you can be badass and have normal human emotions at the same time.”
My full opinion and final essay can be found here. I feel like I have a lot more to say about this series so if you have any questions or want to have a discussion about it feel free to reach out to me!

Hello!
My name is Jade!
(this already looks like an email, yikes.)
I’m starting this blog to essentially, review everything. I wanted to put my opinions out into the world and although I’m not anyone special I hope that people will listen.
Hopefully this will also help me with comprehension, as I go through so much media that it’s hard to unscramble everything ya’ know?
I’ve been reading a lot of books lately but would also like to review things like music albums, TV shows, and fanfictions. I will try to organize my blog in a way that makes it easy to find what you’re looking for but I haven’t really tried to have a nice organized blog before so we will be learning as we go, unless there is anyone out there willing to help (please).
I will always be looking for new recommendations and will try to give justice to everything I review.
I will hopefully be putting up my first couple of posts here in the next few days so look out for it!
