Day 26 of MerMay: Memory.

My favorite Disney movie, and the one that legitimately got me to love art so much I wanted to learn how to make it too.

MerMay Day 18: Abarcadabra. Is it any surprise my first and only thought upon seeing this prompt was Zatanna?

For Day 14: Brave. I wanted an environmental message for this one, and I ended up with this Joan ofArc looking mermaid, which, I admit, ended up looking sorta villainous, but I'm posting this as is anyway, and hoping the general idea still goes through.

A MerMay combo theme this time! Guard & Redraw (an old mermaid). I really wanted to do the Guard prompt, but my idea would have taken too long to do. Now, for the Redraw prompt, I went through my recently unearthed childhood drawings and found this magnificent work of art from around the time I was maybe 3-4 years old:

Day 8 of MerMay: Atlantis. I would have drawn Helga, but I love Kida's color scheme too much.

The theme for day 7 of MerMay is Myiazaki, and, after deciding between 3 possible ideas, I chose to go with reimagining this scene from Kiki's Delivery Service.

Mermay Day 6 - Sweet Treat.

Feeling a bit frustrated that I missed the previous 2 prompts, as well as May The Fourth (couldn't even do something for Revenge of the Sixth) but oh well. At least this one turned out cute.

“average person eats 3 spiders a year” factoid actualy just statistical error. average person eats 0 spiders per year. Spiders Georg, who lives in cave & eats over 10,000 each day, is an outlier adn should not have been counted

Gonna post the next MerMay and May the Fourth art with a significant delay (probably tomorrow) because I'm more focused on the presidential elections here today.

This one (prompt #3 - Hair), I’m not really feeling it tbh. Maybe doing three drawings in a row is taking its toll on me. Might revisit it tomorrow, or do an entirely new idea altogether.
