i just wanted to give a quick thank you to everyone that's ever read stay or popped into my inbox to say something nice about it. writing is really, really, really hard. like, it's fun, and i love it and i'm grateful that i have loyal readers both in fanfiction and other avenues, and i can't believe i actually get to do this every day, but... realistically, writing is hard.

you're balancing characters and their goals alongside themes and internal conflicts and often times romantic subplots (for me anyway) and OTHER subplots that tie into the main plot and it's... it's all a lot. but i know this is what i was always meant to do, and i'm so grateful that i get to do this and my confidence has definitely skyrocketed since the warm reaction stay has received over the years

i haven't forgotten about an update, i know i owe you all something soon. i had hoped for halloween, but honestly, life has been really chaotic. like... the most chaotic time ever. and nano's around the corner and the whole of november is jam packed sooo... at this point, i'm hoping to update around christmas. truth be told, the chapter's not ready. and i've said it a thousand times but it bears repeating, you deserve the best i can bring this story. you've stuck with it, you deserve more than something rushed just to get an update out on time. i refuse to compromise the quality of a chapter when I know I can do it right given time

i just wanted to pop on here and gush a little over all of you that have supported me all these years. i doubt any of you truly realize what your kind and constructive comments and reviews have done all these years. truly, from my whole heart, thank you 🤍

tl;dr: writing is HARD but you guys are AMAZING!! :D
