a/n: whipped this one out randomly lol a pretty different style than usual but I hope still as good as the rest :) please enjoy~

Love is not always easy. Sometimes you get to scream it out to the world, and other times you care for it in secret as if it was an endangered flower. I wonder if its obvious to you, if in your head I have it written all over my face. If you did know, you do a good job of not showing it. 

We step out onto the platform after buying our tickets for the train heading to whatever adventure you planned for today. Nothing unusual for us, seeing as you drag me everywhere you wanna go, not that I’m complaining. We have 3 hours to kill because you wanted to look at the little market beside the station and I never say no to you. 

“Taeyong, make sure you don’t go crazy buying stuff.” I laughed looking at you marveling at all the cute tiny objects in each booth we pass by. You turn at me, sparkles in your eyes and all. “But everything is so pretty and I just want to appreciate small businesses!” 

I roll my eyes, knowing you knew how often I give in. “Fine,” I say, smiling ear to ear, “but mark my words, I’m not carrying anything for you!” I know my words hardly reach you as I watch you practically skip into one of the shops. We end up walking through all the shops and luckily, with not many bags to carry back to the station. 

As we’re sitting for a while, resting before we have to board the train, I think about how I got here. I watch as you look around and I do the same for a few moments. “So how did you even find this old-timey station?,” I knock your shoe with mine to get your attention. Immediately you smiled, “I saw a series of it in a photography page I follow. I thought it looked super cool.” I nodded and we went back to our comfortable silence.

I hear the intercoms calling our train out and start to get up. “Come on Yongie! That’s us,” I hold out my free arm. You take it and we stand behind the caution line. I wonder if I’ll be content forever like this, our relationship never going past friends, platonic soulmates and all that. Or maybe someday I’ll be able to move on? Whatever the future holds, I’d be okay with honestly, I am happy with the now. 

We find our seats, train bustling with conversations, laughter and kids crying. I sat first and took the window seat and you sat next to me, placing the bags in front of us. I noticed as the train started to depart, you lean forward so you could see outside as well. I laughed a bit and asked if you wanted to switch, to which you instantly lit up to as you nodded.

I stood up and you scooted. It was more than fine with me, I didn’t mind. After all, on the train you wanted the window and I wanted to look at you.

a/n: don't know if it came out super good but after trying to think of who to write in for this, all i could think about was jisung 💀💀 hope you enjoy!

You and Hubby!Jisung had never been the soppy sentimental type. Sure you guys have those moments but there's something about not expressing that deep vulnerability every day that makes it all the more special. Not even now, both standing at the alter with your phones in your hands, getting ready to read your vows. You had actually thought about it, about transforming your feelings from all these years into intimate words. But that's what it was - intimate. So deciding to save those words for when it was just the two of you, all tears were put away and you were sure Jisung had reached the same decision. You waited patiently for what the love of your life had to say.

To say you were both nervous was an understatement. He was sweating bullets and darting his eyes looking around the entire venue. You could feel the heat compressed onto your back and possibly a recoil in your stomach.

Once your eyes met, however, you finally understood what people meant when they said that literally everything fades away. It's just you two in the entire world right now.

Releasing a deep breath, he began to read. "I never knew how much fun a person could be until i met you," he smiled at you shyly. "You took a blank canvas and splashed it entirely with colors. I am so grateful to have found my forever buddy and love all in one. I will never forget the day we met and not everyone knows this." Jisung wiggled his eyebrows and laughed while your eyes widened and you mentally face palmed. "Brace yourselves," he said, looking at our guests. Knowing what was coming, you try to swallow down your embarrassment. "I walked into that pizza place by chance, because my usual spot was closed for the day. And there you were, all in your uniformed glory. I thought you were cute so i decide to bust out a joke." He laughed and you laughed with him as you both cherished the memory before others knew about it. " 'Can i have a pizza with invisible topping?' Granted, no one else would've understood it either but you looked at me like i was weirder than a blobfish. Feeling embarrassed, i had to rapidly salvage what i could and said 'Your humor is invisible too i see. I'll have a cheese pizza.' You then let out the loudest laugh and even snorted." He looked up at you and smiled sweetly, then continued, "I knew in that moment that i could listen to that laugh for the rest of my life. And thankfully, i still carry the ability to hear it every day. It's never been a dull moment with you and i promise that my love for you will be anything but invisible."

Everyone laughed and cheered for a while but all you could was smile like an idiot and wipe away the tears that escaped. You noticed Jisung's eyes were also glistening as he mouthed that he loved you forever.

The reason I hold on. Lee Mark, the one who swooped in and picked me up from shattered pieces. How is it that all this time together - the laughs, the smiles, the caresses - amount to absolute anguish. Sitting here you wouldn’t think anything was wrong, that we’re a normal couple enjoying their youth. But what happens when you look closer? The slight dull in his eyes, the blank stare at our old favorite movie, my hesitance to get closer, the inch of a gap between us seeming infinite. It wasn’t like this before. Before. Such a beautiful word. Before, it was us being carefree, sweet murmurs of nothings. Our blissful ignorance of the future, thinking the present lasts forever. I often think about how it all suddenly went south. Or was I too oblivious to see it building up? I was too caught up in the idea of our love, how we work so well together. Where did it all go wrong? Was it me or him? Maybe it was the fact that we spend less and less time together, maybe it’s the way our silence resonates throughout this house. I can try to fix it, to bring back our spark, but what if it’s too late? Looking up at him, I can’t read a word he’s thinking, his deep breaths indicating nothing short of control. I wish we could stay forever in that paradise where the dark can’t touch us. It will be okay… “I miss the old us”..

If you're a fanfiction author and you haven't done this already, start backing up all of your fics on a Google Drive.

When Post+ goes live (it will despite the backlash - Tumblr is owned by Automattic who also owns WordPress), it's going to be mass purge of fandom accounts.

You've probably already seen the posts going around stating that if you make fanworks, you legally cannot monetize (EDIT 2: APPARENTLY THIS IS FALSE. EXPLAINED HERE. Check sources and come to your own conclusions. I've been getting messages with different takes on this). As soon as the idiots at Automattic realize this (EDIT: actually, they definitely know this), they're going to purge fan creators. Why? Because they're also going to be dealing with lawsuits, not just the creators.

And they can write out all of the rules and terms and warnings they want before a user signs up for Post+, but that isn't gonna stop all of the fandom babies from Wattpad coming in thinking they can make money off of writing fanfiction. So the solution? Shadow banning all people who create for fandoms, driving us into a dark corner, and ultimately kicking us off the platform so it can bring in more outsiders and normies, therefore becoming more appealing to investors and advertisers.

I implore you, please read up on the history of fandoms and the great purges of fan content here and try to tell me that's not where we're headed.

(EDIT 3: What I'm trying to say is, I'm pretty sure that the big men up top want us gone so they can try to make this site profitable. Back your works up. Let your voice be heard. Know your roots as a fan. All hail AO3.)

ok, so I never make posts like this, but I feel like I should let y'all know.

on august 6th, there will be a Tumblr blackout.

so as most of you know, Tumblr has tried making post plus a thing, and unfortunately, after all the surveys and posts we made against it, their making it a thing anyway.

so, another Tumblr user whom I forgot the name of, decided to make a point to Tumblr that we do not want, never wanted, nor needed, post+. and to make this point, we are gonna hit Tumblr where it hurts.

ad revenue

so, on august 6th, No one use Tumblr, this blackout, if I'm remembering right from the original post, will last 24 hours. please spread the word about this, make posts about this, do what you need to do to to make sure Tumblr plus doesn't become a thing.

a/n: literally no one asked for this HoWeVeR i felt like i had to write something new lol. I know it doesn’t mention any names but i wrote this as jeno’s pov? or you can do yours if you want. hope you like it <3

There’s an old blue spruce at the corner of my home. Looking at it, I’m amazed by how strong it still stands. Planted 20 years ago by my father and I, it’s sharp needles faded of color, the bottom branches were slowly starting to brown. Yet the trunk is as healthy as it was the first year, and the year after that. All this time, it grew as i grew. It oversaw my first bike ride without training wheels, and the scars that followed shortly after. It swayed in the wind on my first day of high school, me rocking on the balls of my feet trying to calm my nerves. It provided its evergreen arms to comfort my first real heartbreak junior year and the long healing process after. It made it out well and alive through those storms and winters, as did I. We continue to adapt and grow, for that’s all there is in life.
