Finally finished Building the Band on Netflix and I've never been so proud and so heartbroken at the same time. Seeing the spark in his eyes again as his career came full circle, sitting right next to the woman who created One Direction, was a beautiful way to end his career through such a tragedy.

I loved the way the show shed so much light on who Liam was as both an artist and as a person. And I'm so glad others were able to witness that. The unwavering kindness he showed to everyone around him and his impeccable quick-witted remarks reminded me why I adored him so much. I will never forget that.

I held back from watching the show because I wasn't ready to accept that this could be the last memory we would have of him. But I'm glad I finally did. For a brief moment, it felt as though Liam was still here with us, but as the final episode approached, I teared up knowing it was the end.

The added clip of Liam singing WMYB with the audience was such a bittersweet addition. The love he was shown as he sang along, harmonizing the lyrics like muscle memory as he did many many times, and just seeing the smile reach his eyes again, made my heart feel so full.

Liam, I miss you and your gentle spirit so much. You've left behind such an unforgettable legacy. Thank you for being such a kind soul in such a cruel world. I hope you know just how dearly you are loved and missed every single day ❤️

shadejenifer: My last conversation with you... I was partying on stage celebrating the amazing things we just accomplished. You then saw me & called me over. You told me personally I had every tool needed to be a Star in this industry. Gave me so much knowledge on how to stay appreciative, humble, make the right decisions. Things I’ll cherish forever. But most importantly you told me enjoy the time with my boys @soulidifiedmusic because it will be the best time I have out of all the things I will go on to accomplish. I delayed finishing building the band because I was so anxious to say goodbye to Liam. Watching the show was weird bc my brain couldn't register he was gone, again. He looked amazing: beautiful, elegant, smart, funny and so kind. There was something missing in his eyes at first but as the episodes continued the spark came back. He looked so much like his younger self. His smile reached his eyes again. He was so caring and articulated and surprised when people showed him love. I felt an urgency in him to do that mentoring more, to sort of heal his traumas through these young bands. I'm so glad he was surrounded by love. His family, A.j (that went through the same issues and is his friend) and Nicole and Kelly were so nice to him. I watched some interviews these days and he left a mark on these people. Their words are genuine, not just for the camera bc he's gone. When Season 4 sang "human" I teared up a bit because Liam was never allowed to be an imperfect human being, he was always punished and judged for that. When he hugged the mom. He was always just a kid looking for love.

Then the final moments came and I started crying like an idiot. The heart knows what your logic refuses to acknowledge. This is the last time I will ever see Liam do something "new". To be happy, sing, dance, hope, recover. What does that song say?" I don't wanna say goodbye cause this time means forever". I am so so happy and glad this is his last memory and his legacy. Kindness and light. That in loving memory tho felt like a dagger in my heart. I hope he carried that joy with him for a while. I wish that this was the end, that nothing happened after the rolling credits. Your heart knows best but your mind can create alternative realities where everyone is safe. Not even the bad guys nor a landslide can do any harm there.

I love you Liam, you were always more than your darkest days for me, you deserved a billion second chances and you were always lovely. When the aussie guy made you feel warm with his words he was just returning the warmth you gave to us all these years. It was never lost. It'll never go away.

the way all these 1D stans on tiktok are throwing 1D anniversary parties and each person is captioned with their favorite member, but i RARELY EVER see any liam stans in these videos…

and that’s one of the reasons why i’ll never believe some of y’all actually cared about him….and the nerve to mock his strip that down dance in a way to “remember” him is so weird to me. y’all are still finding ways to make a joke out of him 😐

and before y’all say “it isn’t that serious” ….it is. just say you don’t actually care that liam is gone and you’re just sad you won’t get that 1D reunion anymore and leave it at that.
