Nice to catch up with these beauties today @blackburnmuseum for the structures in ceramics exhibition that opened this weekend. These are the ceramic modular coloumns I made with the amazing @darwenterracotta for the @thefestivalofmaking 2017. Inspired by the influential artist #ninocaruso and the skilled workforce of the Darwen factory ! It’s a really interesting exhibition exploring the role of architectural feaince and how it is produced. Also I’m trying hard not to upstage a Grayson Perry ceramic tile piece from his house of Julie on loan from the @vamuseum also manufactured by Darwen Terracotta. Never get bored of releasing a mold! This is a #slipcast tin of #ortizsardines, the original kindly donated by @kateseaside all the way from Antigua , and is forming the basis of some new work about #migration and #climate .
