Whats with artists and fic writers depicting members as smokers? Is it some sorta very attractive aesthetic or trait? Or an extremely popular fantasy…because I honestly don’t understand the appeal and frankly its a little disturbing that something like smoking is seen as an aesthetic for idols who have that image of innocence thrown on them to a point that they cant date or you cant draw them in certain relationships without backlash. this is so dumb. why the HELL do you need to hire someone for a hobby like this. i have thoght about letting writers know if i see a spelling mistake in the past but ive never thought i was doing their job for t hem??? like what job?? i thought i might be helping them out some how idk. idk i feel like maybe readers should be asking for compensation for finding mistakes in writing likeee????????

honestly sometimes writers do sound a little mean when they respond to feed back but you have to consider the fact that sometimes the feed back they are responding too is really mean too. or the tone is off. you can have -ve constructive criticism but its not the same as negative criticism. there is away of saying things that can help other people improve their writing. and even then....if you dont like hte writing why are yhou bothering??? there are plenty of writers and stories that just arent my style so i sjust dont read them. like why do ppl make this shit such a big deal. if you dont like this corner of the internet move on. 

idk man, im seeing a lot of this hate on writers and it’s really annoying because they write some bomb ass stories and really hot smut and it pisses me off that people have actually been bullied off this site... like let me read my smut in peace and let others write in peace. jeez

There are many things wrong with this ask. I don’t know why you took the time to send such a hateful, three-part speech to a person you don’t know. Everything I said earlier was civil, logical and I stand by it. The fact that you need to come at me with anonymous hate only further shows the type of content you stand for. I can only fathom at your reasons, but rest assured that I don’t agree with most of them.

But like why is there still this concept that males don’t like cute mushy romantic shit and being emotionally taken care of? Just the other day I was cuddling with my boyfriend and after admiring him for awhile I told him, “Your eyes are so beautiful, they look like mini oceans” and I swear to god I heard him squeak in embarrassment and saw his cheeks actually begin to blush. Sometimes he likes being the little spoon and although I’m half his size I’m always happy to play jet pack. If he’s having a bad day he knows he can lay his head on my shoulder and just bawl his eyes out and I won’t think any less of him. on a side note i find this story hard to read because i feel SO DAMN SAD about the fact that oc has to watch jimin with her best friend. i would never want to go through something like that. it would break me. i got recjected once and thought  a friend of mine had ended up with him... those moments were so difficult..and we were never together in the first place anyway

“What?! This is totally unfair!” You exclaim at the weekly school newspaper meeting.

Yoongi, the editor, rubs his temples in exasperation, “I thought I explained this to you, ___. This isn’t permanent. I just need you and Somin to switch positions for the rest of the semester.”

“You should be thanking me,” Somin pipes up from where she sits across the room from you, “Your politics section is way more difficult to write for than mine!”

“Yeah, but yours is dull as hell,” you shoot back, “At least I won an award for my piece on sexual violence last semester! What competition could I even hope to enter writing about goddamn sports?”

“For god’s sake, woman, it’s only for six weeks,” Yoongi growls, frustrated with the length of the meeting, “Just make the switch already.”

“I don’t know why Somin can’t still write for her segment! All of the stadiums are wheelchair accessible on campus!”

“But what about the away games?” She exclaims, “Do you really expect me to ride a long-distance bus with a broken leg?!”

She’s got you there. You feel a twinge of guilt about being so insensitive when your colleague is in pain, but you’re still hesitant about giving up your beloved politics section for something as mundane as sports. “You’re right, Somin,” you say in a soothing tone, “You’ve been in a lot of pain with that leg, and you should really just stay home and rest… The politics section might be a bit too stressful for you. Why don’t you switch with Taehyung instead?”

A handsome boy with sandy blonde hair looks up from his phone at the sound of his voice, “Huh?”

i am in awe. i admire writers who write so WELL and so MUCH AND have lives. I don’t get how you kill the game in so many ways.

Personally i only ever ask if someone is going to update soon if im concerned they might have dropped a series, it’s been a verrry long time since they updated [some stories i read and love havent been updated in over a year :( i usually end up forgetting about them at that point .. ] or if i just binged all their other chapters and am showing my excitement for more.

I think it’s actually SO SO weird that people feel so entitled. like how? and the grateful thing... im sure all writers are grateful for literally every single +ve comment they get. But demanding updates isn’t reall ya positive thing. and personally i do think if people keep askinh for updates it gets repetitive and in my case would probably contribute to anxiety and pressure. also, duh i will update when i get around to it?

i dont care for this kinda drama [so i dont really know exactly what’s being said] or any drama but i feel personally offended every time i see these kinds of things on peoples’ blogs. not cool :(

Important! Fic Trade

Hi everyone, so in light of the all this recent drama on my blog with people asking for updates, then calling me rude for not finding these demands flattering, I decided to make a deal. 

I totaled up everything that I have written on this blog for the last two years, and all added up, I have written 180,000 words for my ongoing series, and around 430,000 words for one-shots (but I have rounded down, so the real number is a bit higher than this). All added together, that is 610,000 words. And let’s not forget my works in progress and unposted fics that could increase this number. 

So I have written over half a million words on this blog, and 68 different stories. All of this as a full time Ph.D. student without receiving a single cent in return. I’ve told you guys again and again, on every single page of my blog, and at the end of every single fic, to please not ask me about updates because it makes me feel miserable and anxious. But you guys don’t seem to understand and I’m getting frustrated. 

So, fine. You guys win, and let’s make a deal: if you want to demand an update, that’s totally fine. I will be more than happy to write you anything you want– if you can match me in my writing. 

600k+ words is a bit too much, huh? I’ll accept just 500k instead :) If you can write me half a million words, then you have every right to send me however many asks you want demanding that I update and I’ll happily accept it. Hell, I will get right to work and update for you immediately! 

But if not, please leave me alone :)
