I feel like everyone forgets that Gonta quite literally hates himself

Like in every other sentence this man is degrading himself- I feel like the reason why it’s not looked into more is because he’s a ‘silly’ and ‘cutesy’ character. It bugs (haha) me a lot, especially since people make content of emo Kokichi all the time when we basically no nothing of his real personality so it’s not to say wether he’s depressed or an absolute nut job or just a regular bloke but the character who openly degrades himself and treats himself like shit gets no recognition

I love Gonta sm, I would go into a more detailed rant but maybe later bc I’m very tired right now

Au ideas with me, Dj, part one-

An au where there is two professor Iidabashis- one a random character that I’ll design later and the other being Kazuichi (they’re married, Kazuichi taking the formers last name) and they made Kiibo together. It started off as a project but slowly progressed to them actually wanting to make a robot-child to raise as their own- Mystery Iidabashi was the one who got hurt during the first prototype and has a robot arm because of it

hello hello hello! Any tips on drawing lips on dark-skinned? (Sorry if this sound racist, i swear im just curious)

Hello :D here’s some tips, with demonstrations- though I need to clarify something first (Also apologies for how long this may be).

I am NOT a POC. I’m as white as snow, this is just how I tend to draw lips on POC, from what advice I’ve been given myself. If I say anything that’s a bit offensive please tell me and I’ll change it.

Our example for today will be Bandai.

When it comes to drawing lips on POC, drawing two curves is what I usually do. Another thing that you could do is just do the top lip and leave the bottom part. Sometimes the bottom lip is bigger, sometimes the top lip is bigger- I usually draw the top lip bigger though.

Sometimes POC’s top lip is darker than the bottom one. That’s what I tend to draw- colour picking the skin tone itself and darkening it down a bit. Then using the airbrush on ibis paint to draw the top lips colour

Sometimes the bottom lip is lighter too! Usually it’s more of a pinkish colour from what I’ve researched. As the same with the top lip, I use the airbrush to colour the bottom lip

I cannot stress this enough- Do NOT under ANY circumstances draw lips like this mf from one piece

Another piece of advice I can give you is to ask an actual POC on advice on how to draw lips. I personally asked my older cousin for tips and advice as he is mixed race and a very skilled artist in itself (he passed his art GCSES with full marks!) and it low-key helped a ton. I had no idea how to draw lips before hand

This is how I personally draw lips whenever I draw dark skinned people- but there’s a lot of other ways without being offensive. A very good example is JJBA. The dark skinned characters aren’t stereotyped or racially motivated or anything of the sorts. They’re just people.

(Beautiful people might I add- my boyfriend loves both of these characters a ton)

Don’t get me wrong- I feel I really would’ve liked Mikan if some of her fans weren’t so toxic. I remember I made a TikTok talking about the SA scene and how some fans seem to defend her on it (which is gross btw) and somebody said, and I quote ‘Mikan can SA me’

Anyways I relate to Mikan a lot but her fans + her OBVIOUSLY being a pure fan service character really threw me off so now I feel nothing but hatred towards her
