Bio: The most insecure participant in the group. He specializes in keen observations, analytical deductions, and info memorization, thus allowing him to take up roles in advising team plans and solving clues/riddles scattered throughout challenges that will give him and his team advantages later in the future. Though he possesses intellectual skills proven to be formidable and valuable, he's sidelined and ignored a lot of the times during planning phases (and in actual challenges) due to him never being vocal or certain enough to speak up at his own accords. Shuichi is often alone saying things like he's trying to find clues or discovering dangers that might be lying about, but in actuality he's just scared to talk or to look at others; his anxieties are shown to be even worse when he can't even talk loud or clearly enough in his own confessionals. He tries gets along with his team, and everyone else, the best he could so that none of them would see him as worthless as he does himself. He goes to such far lengths to get long with others that he'll do almost anything that is asked of him no matter how absurd or degrading it is, he'll do it while forcing a smile on himself. Many of his issues stems from growing up with neglect and verbal ridicule by everyone around him; insults revolving around his limited accomplishments even with the skillset he has or about his appearance where people back then (and even today) confuses him as a girl. But the source of his problems lies from a single point in his life where his actions saved the life of a known criminal while persecuting/ruining the life of one of the criminal's most unfortunate victims; Shuichi felt unfathomable guilt and self loathing ever since.

Goal: He entered the competition not for the money, but for the experience itself. He believes that getting on the show would provide him the chance to meet bizarre people and encounter unimaginable situations, all this so that it could help reduce his anxieties and become more confident in himself. If he does win the money he'll hold onto it so that he could give it to the victim once he's released from prison, that way he could start his life again and get the help he needs once he's out in the world.
