Do you prefer to train alone or with a partner? Coming up as a bodybuilder I started off training alone because i knew it was about me and what i was trying to create. A couple years under my belt and I then started training with a partner but it was only because his determination was as intense as mine. We both wore head phones, we never talked unless it was to say "asshole dont drip sweat on my face as you spot me on bench "***********" But finding those types of training partners is damn near impossible. The majority of people want to turn a workout into a fn therapy session over words and what happened to them over the weekend blablabla.. After losing my training partner i had a few more over the span of 2 years but it seemed to become a burden more than anything. They're late, they're high, there's relationship bs drama, there's im not feelin it today because I didn't get in all my meals and the excuse list went on. I never had a fucking excuse. NEVER. And any of the people that knew me coming up will vouch that my determination was laser sharp. Nothing and i mean nothing got in my way. The majority of ppl would want to show up to the gym venting about this and that with there mouth. My girl did this i dont know what to do, my response "your fn 20 not married and no kids stfu get a new one that supports you". my boss said i cant eat on the job, "get a different job thats conducive to the life style or fn say you have low blood sugar and you need to eat every 3 or you'll die, do whatever it takes!" I feel like im not growing "just like empires bodies are built one brick at a time". So many excuses and at the end of the day I would respond with "i got 99 problems too but a bench and a bitch aint one so stfu its your set, lets go ******* .."A couple years of training partners and i was done. With every passing year my focus became more fine tuned. Training alone headphones on in a meditative state I found to be the best way. this is bodybuilding and its about what you are building, what you are digging deep inside to build. If you need a hand to hold this isnt for you.. Take up team sports. #ItsNotEasy #butworthit #mylifemyway #Strong #itsnotoveryet #Focus
