crazy how every time a female character gets cliche misogynistic writing we have to explain to people again that fictional characters are not real and do not choose things for themselves.

the reason men want women to look so unnatural and bizzare, the reason they want them in layers and layers of makeup, insane amounts of surgery, completely covered and faceless and quiet, is that the less human you can make her, the more you can remove her from her natural state, the less guilt you feel for being a monster. If she is not human, what humanity do you need to treat her with?

this is going to sound so consumerist of me, but I think the shrinking market for tween girls is a sign of something sinister and evil. no questions pls<3

i’m high but i feel like modern “queer” activism is like: you’re gay so you’re weird but that’s okay! and real gay activism was like: you’re gay and you’re not weird for it!

You could say "Porn is bad" and instantly, five guys would jump in with, "But masturbation is healthy!" Okay and? when did I ever say masturbation is bad? What’s actually bad is that you can’t get off unless you’re watching a woman being abused.
What’s bad is that you don’t see a problem with consuming content from an industry built on trafficking and raping women. There is no such thing as ethical porn. And this does not exist in a vacuum btw, this translates into real life.
You see a woman being abused, get off to it and then bring that same dynamic into your relationships without ever questioning how fucked up it is that hurting your partner gets you off. But ofc, kink shaming is the real problem, right?

Hi! I’m a radfem in America and I was wondering if you know any good books by indigenous authors about life in indigenous communities in modern times? Specifically those addressing women’s issues if you know any? Thanks!
I don't read so I don't know of any books but maybe my followers will have some recommendations

so, fun fact: your partner’s desire to have children actually can be a totally healthy reason for you to start considering it yourself

No it isn't, and that's a really dangerous message to send to a majority female audience of a YA book series.
so, fun fact: your partner’s desire to have children actually can be a totally healthy reason for you to start considering it yourself
#the hunger games#this is just like the attitude that you could have sex with your partner when you don't feel like it just to please them
