A week ago my friend and i decided to cosplay spider mom and rui at animenyc this year! So be on the lookout, ive been working every day sewing both of our outfits and working on accessories and my friend has been working tirelessly helping me with accessories and styling wigs! Find us at animenyc on saturday! Ill probably post a picture of most of the progress tomorrow since i should have all loose ends done tomorrow after work.

Day 2 of connecticon 2019 as casual sailor mars! This was such a fun cosplay especially being in a group of other casual sailor scouts.

First day of connecticon 2019! Super excited to be finally wearing this cosplay. Honestly i was too lazy to tie the wig up in a ponytail after helping my friends with all their cosplays and working on my own

Almost finished my stocking cosplay for ctcon 2019! Just have to hem the shirt and add a few buttons and ill be all done! Cant wait to finish this and get to work on the next one

More progress on my waitress stocking cosplay! Im so happy with how the sleeves turned out for the shirt, just a little more to finish it off and this cosplay will be all ready for ctcon next month!

So its been literally forever since ive done anything with cosplay for personal reasons but ya girls back and going to CTCon again, ill be doing this outfit of Stocking along with a couple other cosplays. I just finished making the skirt tonight! I also got the wig, shoes and apron. All thats left now is to make the shirt! Im pretty excited to see how this turns out ☺️

Did not take a lot of photos of anything st Anime NYC this year because I was running around and felt pretty sick most of the day. Ended up not cosplayimg Maki because of it but still went today and had a blast! I can't wait to go next year! Until then, I've got to recover financially and start planning my next venture ✌

If i could take a decent picture of the whole outfit I would, but oh well. Here is me as Nozomi Tojo from her initial unidolized SR! I wish I could have gotten a sweater that was actually off the shoulder but this will probably be way comfier to walk around in anyway! Plus everything else about it works perfectly as far as I’m concerned. Looks like this outfit is all set for Saturday! Can’t wait and hopefully I’ll have someone take a better photo that I actually like lol 😊

Making sure everything works for my Maki cosplay for Sunday! The vest came in a size too small but it works for my purposes until I have time to try to alter it. Everything else fits perfectly though and I still like how it looks! I'll do a make up test run with the wig tomorrow probably ✌

My plans for Anime NYC this weekend! I'm not doing much in the way of actually crafting, I managed to literally buy everything for both outfits since there was no way I was going to have time to make anything with work being crazy. But these are my best girls and I am so excited to be pursuing this hobby again! Its been a while since I've looked forward to something this much!

Guess who is actually going to a convention again after over 3 years!!! I just got this wig for Nozomi Tojo from Love Live, I'll be cosplaying her initial SR unidolized at Anime NYC this weekend! So hype for the full test run, but in the meantime im really happy with this wig! Can't wait to get lots of use out of it!

Cosplay tip of the day:

When making a garment closed by hooks and eyes where there is going to be strain on the closure (tight garment, lots of movement, etc.), alternate which side is a hook and which is an eye.

Since they face different directions, the closures can’t pop open at once, reducing the chances of a wardrobe malfunction
