This blog has all of my experiments and work that I have created during my time on my Art Foundation course. I'm interested in many different types of specialisms but I am manly interested in stop motion animation and illustration.
Final Major Project- These are all of the drawings put together for the feeding part of the scene. Due to it being tracing paper you can't see any of the drawings after the 3rd/4th.
Final Major Project- I am going to be using this for the furniture which is the ridged part of the cardboard. I have used this because the colour contrast of this and the floral background is quite good. Also, it give the 2D animation a bit of depth.
Final Major Project- I have been looking at the different fabrics that I have collected and I really like this as it looks a little bit like wallpaper. Also, it reminds me of Lauren Child's work. I have added cardboard for the floor because I believe it gives a nice contrast to the colourful fabric.
I have decided that i am going to just make the animation black and white for now and just have the colour in the background and essential things. This is mainly because the scanner at college isn’t picking up the watercolour that well.
Final Major Project- This is a background I have made using ridged cardboard and normal cardboard that is used for boxes. I have made this because I believe it'll go well with the fineliner.
I have created this recording of an edit that I am doing on all of my drawings so I can put a background in the animation. Also, by doing this I can remind myself how its done.
This is my first colour animation using watercolour and fineliner. However, it has been quite hard to try and get all of the pieces of paper to be alined with each other when drawing. Therefore, there is a frame that is out of place slightly but it has made the animation too ‘jittery’.
Final Major Project- This is another drawing of my character that I have done today. I believe it is really important to keep drawing your characters because you need to feel totally comfortable with them as they are the ones that tell the story.
