Thoughts on sharing sims 3 CC (Equestrian lovers)

Don't read if you don't play with horses in sims 3

For over a year (maybe two) now, since Sims 4 Horse Ranch came out, people have started creating their own servers for equestrian content for the Sims 4. And that's fine. But what's not okay is stealing CC from other creators without asking or permission. Do you really have nothing better to do in life than rudely steal someone else's work? (To all the Sims 4 horse creators who blatantly steal cc from Sims 3 creators by converting without their permission.) How would you feel if you earned money working hard and your boss took all your money and gave it to other people? People downplay the fact that cc is just a digital invention, of course it costs nothing. It takes effort to create CC, effort to learn how to create CC. If it's clearly written in the TOU that clearly forbids converting content to Sims 4, then just don't fucking do it. Thanks to you, Equestrian creators of Sims 4, we will no longer be sharing our content publicly, good luck creating your own cc.

Little story time...

The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow over the city skyline. John Williams leaned back in his office chair, the luxurious leather creaking softly under the weight of his fatigue. Papers were scattered across his desk, contracts and schedules that detailed the meticulous operations of Jersey Valley and Kingsley. Yet, for all the success he had built, an unshakable loneliness lingered like a shadow in the corner of his mind.

He pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose and glanced at the clock. Nearly 9 PM. Another day spent poring over numbers and strategies, ensuring every horse under Jersey Valley’s care was receiving the finest training, nutrition, and care money could provide. Kingsley was thriving too, the equine shop becoming the go-to destination for equestrians worldwide. But none of it felt as fulfilling as he thought it would.

John stood and moved to the large window overlooking the city, his reflection staring back at him. His tailored pinstripe suit was immaculate, his tie perfectly knotted. Yet, beneath the polished exterior, he felt like an empty shell. “Passion,” he muttered to himself. “That’s what I built all this on. But where’s the joy now?”

A knock at the door pulled him from his thoughts. It was Emma, his ever-efficient assistant. "Mr. Williams, the team finalized the upcoming auction list for the warmbloods. I left the file on your desk."

"Thanks, Emma," he said, offering a small smile. "You should head home. It's late."

She hesitated before nodding. "Goodnight, sir. And... take a break, maybe? You’ve earned it."

As the door clicked shut behind her, John sighed. Take a break. The idea almost felt foreign. He could go to the new French restaurant downtown. But the thought of dining alone, surrounded by couples and laughter, made his chest ache. Instead, he grabbed his coat and keys, deciding to head to the stable.

The drive was peaceful, the city lights gradually giving way to the quiet countryside. The moment he stepped into the stable, the familiar scent of hay and the soft nickers of the horses greeted him. A sense of calm washed over him. These were his roots—the animals, the barns, the life he had always loved.

Walking down the aisle, he stopped at a stall where his favorite warmblood mare, Marmoledale, she poked her head out. “Hey beauty,” John murmured, scratching the horse behind the ears. “At least you’re here to listen.”

Marmoledale whinnied softly, as if in agreement. John leaned against the stall door, his thoughts drifting. Maybe he wasn’t destined to be alone forever. Perhaps, somewhere out there, someone shared his passions—someone who would understand the dedication it took to build this empire, yet still cherish the simple moments like this.

For now, he had Marmoledale, the quiet nights in the stable, and the hope that life had more in store for him. She touched his neck lightly with her muzzle and snorted, looking for encouragement to play. With a faint smile, John whispered, “Maybe tomorrow will be different.”

Self-use Sims 3 CC Tutorials List

Here is a list of tutorials from which I learn to convert/create sims 3 cc in a few months (and as a poor English speaker). I think it might help someone who also wants to try making things for sims 3 but doesn't know where to start, though it's been 15 years from the game release and even Inzoi is coming hahah.

The list covers objects, clothes, hairs and eyes. I know there're lots of tutorials not listed here, that's because I haven't tried them in my projects by hand. But The list will be updated with new things I learn. Most tutorials are in English. Thanks to all these creators for sharing their precious knowledge!
