I just wrote in my notebook Ratchet's introduction. He broke down doors and threw a wrench to get to a bit with a medical condition, called people an idiot for not taking proper care of said medical condition, picked up the afflicted bot and walked away while saying what is going to happen now. He does not play.

Second Archivist AU "What if"

Okay, so my main AU will have the story go the same way it did for Transformers Prime. However I was thinking to do a bit of a "what if" where Lyra got the matrix and prime title instead. So the other two need to mech up and be supportive because she will need help.

A Second Archivist AU *A Wedding gift of a Bookshelf*

Lyra, sitting on the floor of the hab/apartment with a Cybertron IKEA project all around her, "This was supposed to be a surprise."

Megateonus standing in the doorway having just got home, "It is." Moving to sit beside her, "What are you doing?"

Dentas gripped the lip of Lyra's lower intake as she looked at the mess, "I'm trying to put together Alpha Trion's mating gift to us." Holding up the instructions, "But I think that I'm getting something wrong here."

Wrapping his tiny mate in a hug Megateonus answered, "Then we'll do it together." With a slight squeeze, "Nothing can stop us right "

The frown left Lyras faceplate as a large smile took its place, "Okay." Returning his hug, "I love you Mega."

Holding his wonderful little mate Megateonus felt his spark swell, "And I love you my spark."

A Second Archivist AU *New Mode*

I have seen that there are toys where Optimus's alt mode has a trailer that fits ratchet's alt mode. Which made me think, what if the end of the war is signaled by Megatron changing his alt mode from a giant fighting one to one that can still fight but has a big enough hold to carry Lyra around with him in her alt mode. Just making sure his tiny wife is cosy.

A Second Archivist AU

I have a story called 'A Second Archivist' where it is set before the war and before Optimus and Megatron are the leaders most know. Instead it follows Lyra Pax, the younger sister Orion Pax (who will become Optimus Prime). Some things this AU has:

Views on the caste system

Relatively relaxed transformers who are still learning about their world

Protective and in love Megateonus (who will become Megatron).

Caring Ratchet HC

Ratchet is the type of person to complain and say he hates everyone but is underneath the biggest softie ever.

Whenever the children are having a sleepover at the base he constantly checks on their vitals once they fall asleep.

If they fall asleep around base he will carefully pick them up and bring them to the human area and tuck them in

Speaking of carrying if Ratchet carries one of the kids however rare that may be, his spark hums louder like he comfort a youngling.

Ratchet may an appear ruff around the edges especially with the children, but that is mostly because he is afraid of getting attached again.

Even before the war Ratchets favourite patients were the young of their spices. So before he became a renowned doctor/scientist on Cybertron he worked as the cybertronian equivalent of an paediatrician

There exists a singular photo of just Ratchet and all the kids, everyone thought Ratchet threw it away but in reality he keeps it in his subspace and treasures it more than anything.

tfa ratchet and tfp ratchet hold a special place in my heart. they are so exasperated and DONE and old and OVER IT. they are TIRED of fixing friends and loved ones only to send them back out to get hurt once more on the battlefield, all because some Idiots can’t get their heads out of their asses and have a goddamn conversation. he’s a medic and a healer, not a soldier or politician. his main goal in life is to do everything in his power to safeguard the wellbeing of whoever is in front of him, and the war makes this impossible, and he is burnt the fuck out and bitter beyond words. he loves so much, and the war punishes him for having that heart, and the end result is an old ornery dude who refrains from going full alcoholic only because his devotion to his duty as a medic is even greater than the despair
