Optimus Prime (TFP) Matrix HC: Even though the Matrix of Leadership does allow him to be much wiser and have a lore more insight, due to the combined wisdom of the original thirteen Primes being contained within, it also is somewhat of a burden for him mentally.

Due to the fact it does possess so much knowledge and wisdom, it surely has so know just as much about the terrible and gut-wrenching things as anything else. So I think that Optimus would sometimes have dissociative flashbacks to events he never was present for, or have overwhelming intrusive thoughts about violence. Not in the “what if I hurt somthing” (the traditional type) but more of a “here’s an extremely graphic and nauseating thought you won’t be able to escape”.

He sometimes has episodes where he just goes completely silent, and nobody but Ratchet knows. It’s something he keeps secret so the others don’t worry about him, but sometimes he has to go on recon or other things during these episodes, and he goes nonverbal. The rest of Team Prime just wave it off as him being angsty and moody, but Ratchet tries his best to give Optimus space and to lighten his load.

He usually gets hazy visions of different awful scenes, sometimes real, sometimes a memory from the era of the primes, sometimes a graphic hypothetical. But he can’t really fight it, and any time he tries not to think of it, his mind just leads him back to these uncomfortable and unwanted thoughts.

I dunno if anyone ever noticed this or commented on it but

The way Optimus' eyes are rendered and textured in TFP, always reminded me of tear tracks? The etchings underneath.

Like this gentle man, who so badly wanted peace above all else, had cried so many tears till he had none, that they were now marked forever on his face.

Edit: Megatron also has these tears too

Your Optimus' Older sister, and he's always looked up to you even as a Prime headcannons

When Optimus was "born" you were still young, you could remember holding him

Basically you guys were inseparable since you were young

You helped him get through his schooling and a job at the archives actually

You were kinda like that embarssing mom, especially infront of Femmes you caught him glancing often

"Ooo is that your little-" "no! No! No!"

In an honest respect you both have each others back, you've been there for every big ceremony he's been apart of.

He told you about becoming a prime first

You were more than proud of him.

And even as a Prime he really still found you a roll model

Always looking up to you like he did when you were both younger, either it be in battle or in simply speaking.

Its unfortunate but you both broke apart with the wars final days

He to earth and you, well he didnt know exactly what had happened to you

He hadnt forgot about you, but pushed you to the back of his mind.

Maybe he hoped you'd find your way to him like all those times you did when he got lost as a youngling, telling him it'd be okay as he cried scared he had lost you forever

"I always come back. Don't I Orion?"

What a way to run back into each other, back on earth that is

Everyones shocked to be honest.

They had never known Optimus had a sister, none the less one so different from him.

Also. He showing a happy emotion? Its a good day

"Still light as ever I see!"

The bots were glad to have another well rounded fighter

And Miko was just glad to meet another kick ass bot

"Optimus has a sister? And that sister is you?"

"Bam! Right on the dot! Me and ol Blue and Red here! Together again! Huh?"

Despite your outgoingness you do keep silent, they've realized Optimus started doing your little finger on the chin thing as you think

"I didn't think Femmes could be so tall."

"You're just mad because she's taller than you, Jackie."

"So! What did you do on Cybertron?" Miko asked happily.

"Do?" Y/n questioned hands on her hips, "what do you mean do?"

"I bet you were a Wrecker like Bulkhead and Wheeljack! Are you a prime?"

"Oh my occupation!" Y/n smiled as she thought, finger holding her chin in thought, "well i did a number of things, anything to get some energon on the table."

"I thought you and Orion lived in Iacon." Raffle spoke.

Y/n nodded, "We did. Didn't mean it was easy. I did do a number of things Im not proud of Anything for my little brother." Y/n answered with a smile.

"I was more than happy to ruin my own reputation and life to get him where he needed to be." Y/n spoke.

"Wow." Jack responded, "I'd wish I had siblings like you."

Y/n smiled with a nod, "never break up a set. I use to tell him that all the time."

Ratchet came out of base to even get Optimus immediate medical attention, but you snapped back and wouldn't let anyone touch him as you held him close

Ratchet knew you before hand so it was a bit helpful that he knew all the things you been through.

Arcee argues with you for it

"You could of gotten Optimus Killed!' She shouted at Y/n, pointing a demanding digit at Arcee.

"I know what Im doing. Back off!" Y/n demanded, "and don't point at me."

She slapped Arcee's servo away.

"You shouldn't even be here! You're a liability! You don't help in anyway and disrespectful Optimus!"

"Disrespect? I'd kill myself before I ever disrespected my little brother-"

"Thats just it! He's a leader not your little brother! Not no more! He thinks your embarrassing!"

"Oh please." Y/n spoke

"You're just dead weight-"

"Thats enough!" Ratchet demanded pulling the two apart.

"If Orion thinks Im such of a dead weight. He can tell me. And I'll leave." Y/n spoke, "and I won't come back."

"His name is Optimus." Arcee argued.

"And thats where you miss." Y/n defended, "This isnt just a discussion about war. This'll be a discuss about family."

You ended up leaving after dicussing it with Optimus

"But Y/n I don't understand why you are leaving"

You didnt tell him what had happen.

"It's just best for the team. If you need me, Im a comn link away."

It's almost like a big sister going off to college, but instead of coming back after 4 years, you won't come back at all

Kinda just fell off the face of the earth again :(

He never did comn you, and you never did come back.

He felt as if he's disappointed you in some way

That could be the only reason you left in such a way

Sure though, he'd find you again on the feild.

In a cave specifically, slumped against a wall, sword at your side, dead cons around you.

Sure, you did defeat all the cons, evident by the slashed chasis, decapitications, and sliced off body parts.

Turns out just one too many injuries got you this time around.

How his spark ached seeing you in such a stature

Never to see you alive again, never able to repay such a debt he had as you being his big sister

It's even more unfortunate that he never learns of why you truly left

I'M ALREADY WORKING ON THE REQUESTS BUT I HAVE TO GET THIS IDEA OUT OF MY HEAD BECAUSE I REALLY LOVED TRANSFORMERS PRIME AND SHATTERED GLASS AU, OK?OK

I mentioned in my previous post how SG!Optimus reminded me insanely of Zarkon, from Voltron, and the more I delved into this thought, this idea arose.

SG!Optimus x Haggar/Honerva!reader

Like, taking into account that in SG the Bots and the Cons have their opposite roles, I can see this Prime having met Reader in some kind of technological alliance that there was in his time on Cybertron before the war, (taking this optimus as in Megatron's place) when he was advancing in his political career.

So, for that reason, he has to meet the chief scientist of the autobot/(alien race) project, which ends up being Honerva! Reader, who despite being a brilliant mind, is actually quite friendly and sweet. apart from showing a lot of curiosity about Autobot technology, which causes them to be constantly after Optimus for their constant questions about the Autobots for the operation of the project (Optimus would refuse to accept that he only allowed this at the beginning because it boosted his ego, although he would lie if he did said they weren't adorable)

Ends up forming a strange friendship between the two, Optimus can genuinely respect Honerva!Reader not only for their efficiency in discovering new things for their projects, but also as a very ambitious person who does not say "no" to progress. although that ends up generating conflict between him and Megatron, who believes that Honerva!Reader might be going a "little" too far in terms of their tests.

This gets worse when they somehow manage to find a meteorite on their planet, made of DARK ENERGON. and they proceed to test immediately, even on THEMSELVES. making subtle changes in their personality, they become more hostile towards those who want to distance them from the project, they REFUSE to share more of their knowledge, something is wrong.

but Optimus seems to be an exception to this, if he notices something he simply believes that it is the consequences of working too hard.

until one day, it happens, Honerva!Reader have a breakdown and fait due to their prolonged exposure to Dark Energon, which alerts Optimus, obviously. that by this time they already have a more established relationship.

At this point, the tensions between him and Megatron are already insurmountable, so he doesn't even think about asking him for help, especially when Honerva! Reader tells him they need: Dark Energon, where? the earth of course.

but Optimus realizes that if he doesn't do something SOON, Honerva! Reader could die, so he ends up having Ratchet process the Dark Energon they had and GIVE IT TO THEM, AS MUCH AS THEY CAN TAKE, TAKING IT TOO.

As we know, they both end up "dying" but coming back to life (can you imagine if they had woken up after Cybetron was destroyed like what happened with Zarkon and Haggar in Voltron? It would be epic) and that's how Haggar is born! Reader.

Haggar reader is quite similar to their previous counterpart with the difference that they is a "druid" with various Dark Energon powers, however they are linked to Optimus by being the one who brought them back to life. Even if they come back with anxiety, they still see Optimus in a Master or power light. although in this case it probably wouldn't happen.

Although if it were to happen, Optimus takes the Zarkon route of taking Haggar!Reader as second in command, although not exactly in a military way but rather, well, as a conjux endura, you know what I mean. and Haggar!reader They're just like "oh well, this is my life now"

Can you imagine when Optimus is left in a coma due to the destruction of the first space portal? And how Haggar!Reader with Amnesia ends up remembering their past with him, using the connection of their dark energon to bring his mind back to his body and that will it heal even faster? it would be epic x2

they are definitely the complete opposite of, for example, the Starscream of the original dimension, they are completely loyal to Optimus, they do not question him, they do what he says, they do not hesitate to stab in the back those who THINK of betraying him, and they are respected and FEARED by that for the rest of the Lost Light . in exchange they end up receiving Optimus' unconditional love (they already had it before, but now there is nothing stopping him from having them all to himself).

Haggar!reader probably isn't even allowed to leave the ship or have a direct encounter with the Decepticons, either because the memories of their death upset them or because he(Optimus) doesn't want to risk having to revive them and go through that traumatic process AGAIN. They help in the same ways would do Original Soundwabe, but with Magic Powers instead of tecnology.

Primus prevents someone from plotting against Haggar!reader for the favor of Optimus, he will notice immediately and will have said bot opened ALIVE and he himself will tear off their Spark (probably something that he would like to happen would be that Haggar !Reader will participate in the torture, but ok, there seems to still be some Honerva! Reader. more fun for him).

I also imagine that Haggar!reader is the only one who can REALLY touch Optimus, in the sense that he could be giving an important speech about how the Autobots will crush the Decepticons, with Haggar!reader relaxing on his shoulder or one of his knees. watching everything like a loyal hawk.

Overall, a surprisingly healthy couple of space tyrants✨💜💛

Also on top of autism, i think optimus is a very depressed mech which is why he's often very withdrawn and kept to himself. He doesn't have energy to interact or speak to anyone else.

He does what he considers the bare minimum (saving the world) and just keeps to himself.

So the Autobots wanna take you home: somewhere safe and in secret.

You're even mad at them: shit you even blow up at Bumblee your so pissed.
