University AU Taekook (Taehyung/Jungkook) Fluff, Tiny bit angst

‘It was a hell week for Kim Taehyung as he getting through crowd of people in the hallway, he just finished another experiment, don’t get him wrong he loves experiment but when it never goes the right way, or to be exact the chemicals reaction he got it all wrong because he been working on other assignments among other things, it took a toll on him.

He finally gets out from the hallway to outside, ahh fresh air never been so good! And now he needs to find coffee and a friend to tell all his problems as he walks to the café near the campus which also where his best friend work.

“JIMIN!” Taehyung shout as he walk towards his best friend who try his best not to acknowledge that Taehyung shouting like 5 feet away but of course he is known as Jimin so cannot avoid that as he sigh

“What do you want Tae? And you look like death, the usual?” Jimin ask knowing fully well but just in case.

Taehyung nods making a sad face and Jimin roll his eyes knowing that face, that face that will make a bitchy whiny story as usual, nothing out of ordinary since it’s their second year already.

“You know me so well chim, but oh my god I am dying, you know! I just make a wrong chemical mixture and guess what it almost blow up at Professor Kim but thankfully he accept my pleading sad look though I am not sure how can I make those grades up but ughh I don’t even want to think anymore and the essay assignment that I did last night is trash but guess what I handed in anyway, I am doomed !”

As Taehyung keep on rambling Jimin works on his drinks luckily there’s not too much customers at this time and although he won’t say some of the students inside the café is happy with the way Taehyung keep on rambling like a mad man.

Jimin handed Taehyung drink as Taehyung savors it taking a sip, “UHH! This is heaven you always got the best drink! “

Jimin smiles softly, “I know but you probably should keep it down they literally glaring at you, I know it’s frustrating but you got this”

Taehyung sighs, “I know, I just I am regretting taking double major, I know before you told me , ‘ I told you so’ but hell no, this is what I love I just want to let it out sometimes ya know but I still can’t find my partner for the project and I don’t know who to ask” Taehyung look at Jimin giving his best puppy eyes but we know Jimin got the best one when it comes to persuasion but Taehyung is a close second.

“Taehyung, I told you I already partner with Yoongi hyung and you know he won’t agree taking you in, you know how he gets” Jimin said

Taehyung huff and roll his eyes, “Of course, so possessive, he knows we are best friend, he just wants you all to himself”

Jimin blushes, “It just how he is, you know he is soft hearted, hey you know what let me ask around maybe there some sophomore you can take, I’m sure they will be thrilled to have you Tae”

Taehyung sighs, “I guess, cause honestly right now I can’t think of anyone and if you could find me one I owe you, if you managed to find one text me, I will be at the lab as usual.

Jimin smiles, “Okay, don’t you worry just get the chemical thingy right!”

Taehyung chuckles and nods as he waves goodbye.

He walks back and the hallway is a bit emptier since the classes is already over but not for him, he sighs softly as he taking a sip on his drink, as he walking towards the lab he look over an art class that he thought empty but he sees a guy who seems busy painting, he feel intrigued as he slowly walk towards the class, the door seems not close as he walk in the boy still not noticing him busy drawing something. He sees some kind of portrait but it’s unclear as the boy seems to notice him, the guy quickly turn his drawing as he stands up surprised.

Taehyung pout, “Aww, I wanna see it, you seem really good”

“Uh, well yeah. I guess so?” the guy answer timidly, he seems shy but Taehyung can work with that, he is friendly after all.

Taehyung walk closer as the guy step backward nervously, Taehyung chuckles

“Calm down, I’m not doing anything, I just want to introduce myself, I’m Kim Taehyung and you?” as Taehyung hold out his hand.

The guy stares at his hand and then his face, “I know”

Taehyung furrow his eyebrows, “Your name is ‘I know?”

The guy shook his head, blush, “my name is Jeon Jungkook” as he takes his hand and shakes it.

“See, that wasn’t so bad is it Jungkook-shi?” Taehyung gives a bright smile and Jungkook feels a flutter in his heart though he’s trying to keep a straight face.

“…Yeah”

After 10 seconds, awkward silence…

“Well! It was nice to meet you, but I have to go to lab now, I hope to see you again Jungkook”

Jungkook nods as Taehyung waves and walk out from the classroom, Jungkook let out a relief sigh as he looks over at his drawing.

-2 days later-

Taehyung feels so much better; the assignments seems getting along pretty well except maybe there’s few experiments a bit disaster but nothing that cannot be fix but there’s one assignment that been bothering him which is a pair project for the music subject which he absolutely love but how can he come up with a new song or dance or whatever related to it but hopefully his savior Park Jimin will managed to get him a partner although he is a social butterfly and friendly with almost everyone and he mean everyone in the university but it does not mean easy to find a partner and a good partner for the project but he trust his best friend.

Before he can panic even more, Jin walk in seeing the state of his little brother pacing around like a mad man.

“Kook –ah would you please calm your butt down and actually choose something to wear, I know you have solid body but he ain’t seeing it on the first date” Jin smirks

“It’s not a date! Hyung!” Jungkook said flustered thinking it might be a date making his heart pound, geez what even happening?!

Jin sighs, “as much I love you suffering, now let’s focus you are partnering with Taehyung is a good thing he might notice you and then it will be all cliché love story and you two dancing around –“ Jungkook cuts him off, “Hyung!”

“Okay, okay, since I am a good brother and don’t want you to embarrassed yourself, let’s pick some clothes and teach you not stutter through you word though I am surprise when you met him before you did pretty well, just do that”.

Jungkook sigh, “It’s not that easy! but I will try I guess, just he is so gorgeous”

Jin roll his eyes, “I am gorgeous he is alright but oh well, I guess it can’t be helped.

“Hyung!”

“Okay, okay I will help and now calm down and let your great brother help fix you up”

“Okay, just nothing weird”

After an hour of Jin helping and Jungkook contemplating whether the outfits is okay or not they finally come to decision, with black leather jacket with white shirt and black skinny jeans, not too bad and just a nice style hair courtesy of his brother Jin at least he is good even sometimes his outfit is too pastel for his taste but it works for him that he is fine with it.

“Aww my baby brother is growing up trying to woo a guy, I’m proud” Jin said shedding fake tears.

Jungkook rolls his eyes, “It’s not a date, I gotta go now okay, I see you later”

Jin smiles, “Alright, if anything happens you know the code”

“Nothing will happen, we just meeting for a project” Jin just give a smile, “Okay kookie, go on now don’t want to be late!” as Jin pushes Jungkook out the door after the door closes Jungkook let out a breath, he is not nervous okay maybe a bit, he takes a deep breath as he goes.

Taehyung walk in the café that is all too familiar and he loves the comfort feeling it brings, the smells of the coffee always a fresh scent, he goes straight to order some coffee they might need to talk first and see what they going to do for the project, he can only hope they will get along well since his pair is Jimin friend too as he just finishes have his order, he finally looks around and he tilt his head when he sees Jungkook look pretty nervous and doesn’t seem to notice him…wait could he be his pair partner? That could be interesting he think as he walk over hoping that is true he clear his throat as Jungkook look up and look like a bunny caught eating a carrot, well who cares, he is cute.

“Hello there? Are you by any chance my partner for the project?” Taehyung ask a bit nervous.

Jungkook nods slowly as seems unsure, “Y-yeah , I am you are also Jimin friend right?”

Taehyung nods smile as he take a seat, “shouldn’t you say Jimin hyung though? Aren’t you younger than us?”

Jungkook rub his head a bit embarrassed, “Uh, yeah it slips out sometimes”

Taehyung smiles amused, “It’s alright, I won’t tell him”

Jungkook nods as he mumbles a thank you. Taehyung eyeing him and he definitely looks great when they met before, he dresses pretty simple but this one he looks really handsome but his expression is too cute, he seems so shy though he guess he can’t judge when they just met 2 times and only take for a few minutes.

“So, I just wonder how come you don’t have a partner because I heard you are pretty talented a dancer, singer and even do art really well” Taehyung start to ask question

“Uh, I wasn’t that talented and well Jimin hyung mention you and he said you are really talented but don’t have a partner and you seem like an easy-going guy, so I thought why not” Jungkook said nervously

“Aww, that’s cute well I don’t mind being partner with you though we should start to think now because we need to practice and everything and we both still have classes and all so we need to arrange time and stuff, do you have ideas ?”

Jungkook blush when hearing Taehyung says cute but managed to composed himself, “Yeah, I was thinking we can sing together and maybe have a bit of dance like make a remix, I have few ideas for songs and the steps if you don’t mind”

Taehyung look at him with full concentration somehow it makes Jungkook inside making a somersault, he usually would see Taehyung looking goofy and just carefree but he looks so good being serious and oh he is staring, he clear his throat.

“Well, I think that’s a great idea honestly, let’s go to my dorm now, we can start to think how to divide the song and everything if you don’t have anything to do?” Taehyung ask

Jungkook did not expect that at all, after a minute of not answering Taehyung look at him, “Um, Jungkook?”

Jungkook look at his eyes wide and Taehyung can’t help to think how cute is this boy!

“You still did not answer my question?”

“Oh, uh…. sure!” Jungkook said

Taehyung nods a bit weird out but let it slide, “Alright, let’s go then, don’ worry, first date is never perfect we can make it work”

Jungkook look at him shocked, “Uh…what? I—but “

Taehyung laugh loudly, “Oh gosh, you should see your face! You are so adorable Jungkook! Come on I am just kidding, let’s go we should focus on our project yeah”

Jungkook nods slowly following behind Taehyung, “right…just kidding” if only Taehyung knew he sigh softly as he catches up to Taehyung and he proceed to rambling a bunch of things, who knew he is such a talkative but Jungkook doesn’t seem to mind at all as he listens.

As weeks pass by, Jungkook is officially screwed as he watches over and over his and Taehyung rehearsal performance, he couldn’t explain it but Taehyung voice is like a breath of fresh morning air and it’s beautiful and soulful he can feel the emotion of his singing that every day he can’t help to fall for him and it hurts because he can’t even confess cause he is a coward.

Suddenly someone takes the phone from him, he looks up and sees it just Jin as he sit beside him, “Is there reason why my little brother looking at this video for the past half an hour nonstop with starry eyes because of certain someone ?”

Jungkook just look down, “No…”

Jin roll his eyes, “I am so convinced, honestly I think you should told Taehyung, he doesn’t remember, does he?”

Jungkook sigh, “No…”

Jin look at the younger sympathetically, “You can’t keep going like this, maybe if you say something he would remember, I just don’t like seeing my baby brother sad like this you so close to him but felt so far how is that will help you?”

“I don’t mind..I just want to be closer to him, that’s enough for me” Jungkook said

“I know but you will never know till you try, just think about it okay” Jin said as he ruffles the younger hair and walk out.

Jungkook lay on his bed thinking that it couldn’t hurt to try right? He just scared Taehyung would be away from again…after so long he found him but somehow he did not have courage to talk to him or anything and now it seems there’s hope, being close to Taehyung make him the happiest he can be.

It’s the weekend and Taehyung is bored out of his mind, he finally settles his lab work and most of his assignments and he couldn’t be more happy and it’s almost break and with the upcoming project show coming it makes him feel excited and with Jungkook…it’s weird that he feel Jungkook is so familiar he can feel a memory comes up but it seems hazy and it makes him wonder if they ever meet? But Jungkook never mention anything if they known each other before.

He decided to call Jungkook just to hang out, why not he shrug and call Jungkook and of course Jungkook agreed and he smiles as he hangs up, maybe I should get some snacks or we should order some food and play some games that would be fun he went to the kitchen and rummaging through the cupboard well he did have some snacks and drinks so that’s good.

Then the doorbell rings Taehyung quickly gets the door revealing Jungkook looking good as always, he can’t to check Jungkook outfit and as always he look really good then he notice he shouldn’t checking out his friend as he smiles and let Jungkook in.

“Uh, I got the snacks and drinks so thank god for that, we can just hang out cause I am bored and out of my mind, I hope you don’t mind?” Taehyung said

Jungkook shrug, “I’m fine with it and it’s fun to hang out with you”

Taehyung a bit taken aback as he feels blush on his cheeks, “Oh, cool! Me too, just let me get the snacks just see what’s on the TV, be right back!” as he quickly goes to the kitchen , he think to himself, he did not just blush as he slap his cheek, he just says it’s fun to hang out no big deal at all but why it feels different when Jungkook said it?

Jungkook just look at Taehyung quickly goes to the kitchen and he’s not sure if he is mistaking but Taehyung blushes and somehow that make his heart beat faster, honestly whenever they are close he always feel that, he just doesn’t know what to do but he gotta admit, he is cute maybe he could tell him.

After all the snacks and drinks is set up, they decided just to put on some movies since somehow the xbox is not working, Jungkook look over Taehyung that is seem to be absorbed by the movie, it’s now or never he thought to himself.

“Uh, Tae hyung?” Jungkook said timidly, Taehyung turn to him with a question look

“I need to talk to you about something, very important” at that Taehyung turn to him as Taehyung paying full attention to him he feel nervous but he have made up his mind.

“I know we just met like few weeks ago and in passing maybe we bump to each other but I was wondering if you remember we have met before?”

Taehyung blinks at Jungkook question as he try to go through his memory and he look at Jungkook intently…his face is very handsome but have that boyish look and that bunny teeth that make him so fond and he is such a living meme but he is not sure if they have ever met before…he frown

Jungkook notices this, “It’s okay, I just need to know, it’s okay if you don’t remember” even he say this, the older knows that Jungkook is upset, he seems so hurt and that make Taehyung sad, then Taehyung put his hand over Jungkook and somehow he feel different, the touch seems different, it remind him of warmness of sunlight.

“Tell me Jungkook, have we ever met before?” Taehyung needs to know maybe he will remember something.

Jungkook is hesitant but it doesn’t hurt to try and even in the end Taehyung doesn’t remember he have faith they can still work it out.

“ We meet when we were 16 back at your hometown Daegu, I was on vacation with my family for the summer, we met at the beach you were running with your dog and you trip and drop your ice cream on me and we did not start out nicely but of course you feel so guilty that you give your shirt and take my dirty shirt to wash and you were so persistent that we become fast friend even I am shy and quiet but you don’t even care”

Jungkook breath out and continues…

“Everything was great and at that moment I felt something for you and you did too but we don’t want to put any label and that’s fine with me, it was a week before my summer vacation over and you were so eager to show me a nice hiking mountain and I went with it but at that time it just after rained the trail is pretty dangerous but you insisted it’s fine and you assured it was fine but then accidents happen, you fell and hit your head but luckily you were saved but the doctor said you don’t remember our times together and I was sad and just went back home cause I couldn’t face knowing you don’t remember me…” Jungkook trails off and Taehyung feels his heart in pain, he squezzed Jungkook hand, “I’m sorry…I think I know about the accident but my parents didn’t say anything at all so I assume it’s nothing important”

Jungkook smiles sadly, “your parents pretty mad so I just don’t want to bother you when it becomes like that”

“You are not a bother, we-we must have something special right at that time? Since you still haven’t forgotten till now and now we in college you watch over me don’t you?”

Jungkook blushes at Taehyung remark, “Uhm, I guess you kind of special to me”

“Aww, kookie…”

Jungkook look into Taehyung eyes, he misses those eyes, those unique smiles of his and that attitude, it’s like he never changes just get mature over the years well as mature as he can be.

“I just want to say, I might not remember about our past together…but we can make a new one don’t we?” Taehyung said smiling

Jungkook smiles back, “Yeah, we can honestly I don’t mind, I been waiting for this moment for quite a while I am so relief you are okay with…this.”

“Honestly, how can I not like you, I have crush on you but I thought someone like you wouldn’t’ want someone like me”

Jungkook shook his head, “I think you mean how can you like me”

Taehyung giggles, “let’s just call it even I was just wondering have we ever kiss in the past?”

Jungkook sputters, “Uh, I—umm”

Taehyung smirks and he scoot closer, “Because we did or not, we should try it now, maybe a kiss can make me remember something…”

Jungkook feels like he is choking how can Taehyung be so nonchalant about this while he’s having a hard attack.

“Are you always like this kookie? Calm down it’s just a kiss, you have kiss before right?” Taehyung ask

“Well, yeah but not a lot and honestly you were my first back then…” Jungkook blushes

Taehyung coo, “oh my god, you are a cutie! Wow I am your first kiss well, let’s forget about the past and think about this moment”

Jungkook nods and he decided he should be a man about it as he pull Taehyung closer grabbing his waist and in turn making Taehyung surprised at this,” I hope you don’t mind”

Taehyung shakes his head looking at Jungkook as he closes his eyes leaning on Jungkook and Jungkook smiles as he kisses Taehyung lips and it was so wonderful, even they have only kiss once in the past but it feels the same, it feels like warm and he can imagine back when they at the beach the feel of the sand and the waves of the sea so calm and just gorgeous and Taehyung is indeed gorgeous.

They pull away a little taking a breath but Jungkook then kisses him back, he feels like he could never get enough of Taehyung lips, he misses those lips, he misses Taehyung everything even they only spend few weeks together but he felt something for the older and even Taehyung don’t remember he knew that Taehyung do like him as he is now and he couldn’t be happier with that and for that he is content pulling Taehyung closer.

Jin is a very patient and dedicated worker, he honestly loves his work well not love but he does have a good reputation and he is not about to ruin it

that sound somehow sounds like a destruction to his concentration on his work, he put it on vibrates.

He sighs as he unlock his phone, of course what does he expect from his younger boyfriend, a memes lots of memes, you see Jeon Jungkook is a typical teenager he seem very quiet, give that cute dimple smiles that make Jin stomach make a flip flop when they met at the first time when Jungkook accidently and I meant accidently knock him off when he’s getting a coffee which luckily on his way to get the coffee so nothing was spilled.

Jungkook smile sheepishly and somehow he managed to persuade Jin on to sit with him as he pays for the muffin that Jin been eyeing and from there they hit off.

Jin never regret it even he knew that Jungkook seems to be way younger but he carry that maturity mostly because of his face but sometimes he can see that cheekiness that he secretly like but should not be tell or Jungkook will make fun of him endless as in pranking him because he’s a child. A damn man child honestly.

As he about to put away the phone, it vibrates again and he take a look at it

Jungkook making an evil face with a knife...wait pointing at his figurine, Jin’s precious figurine...okay he’s making a joke but still!

Okay, Jin calm down you still have...damn it 4 more hours this kid never going to stop

He does the best solution he can, turn off the phone he look at satisfied and back to his work.

Jungkook is pouting and Kim Taehyung laughing at him, “I told you, Jin would never let anything distract him”

“I know that! but why won’t he replied like at all, like come on he could at least say something”

“Well when you doing stupid faces he probably get bored maybe if you do something sexy-”

Taehyung word is cut off by a hit of a pillow, he deserves it but Taehyung just give a smug smile.

Jungkook grumbles, while Taehyung just roll his eyes

“You got it so bad dude, honestly you could just bang him when he get home am sure he up for it”

Jungkook just sighs heavily, What does he do to do deserve this punishment in a form of unreliable best friend.

“There, there now...I’m going to go cause Hobi hyung already done with his practice session, ciao” as Taehyung walk out his and Jin apartment leisurely.

Jin is proud that finally finish his work for the day and maybe few days in advance, he stretch out and can feel the bone cracking he turn back his phone, he wonder what is Jungkook doing he does somehow feel bad knowing sometimes when Jungkook just very bored he gets very bored.

There’s a few missed calls and a few memes mostly with pouting face, he shook his head.

As he gets home the lights is off, weird he thought as he cautiously walk in and try to search for the light when someone grab him from behind he almost curse out when he felt a familiar heat.

“Jeon Jungkook, are you trying to give me a heart attack?”

Jungkook grin, “Maybe” as he start to kiss his neck softly missing the older scent, he smells so addictive, he might think too much of Jin that he just want to hold Jin.

The light is on and Jin turn towards Jungkook still holding on Jin waist,he lean on Jungkook and kiss his cheek, “I miss you too you man-child, it’s your fault sending so much memes while I’m at work”

“It’s so not my fault, you could at least entertained me, apparently work is more important yeah?” As Jungkook hand run down his butt, Jin let out a yelp

“Stop that, you perv and let me breath you can touch me when I have a bath and relax please?”

How can Jungkook say no to that big eyes and pouty plump lips, he gave a hard kiss and pull away, “Sure hyung”

Jin just sighs and cannot deny that Jungkook gestures can turn him on but he needs a bath before anything he calms himself and went to the bathroom luckily he finish his work for the day as tomorrow might be his off day because of certain man-child.

Epilogue;

Senior year, it’s been a good past years and now you are the senior nothing much changed really, Jungkook is still your annoying best friend along with Taehyung somehow you two are more alike in terms of almost everything that Jungkook get jealous.

Then when Jimin officially your boyfriend he see it coming but somehow he felt a bit left out but you two always work the friendship out and now all four you are close as ever.

As you reminisce someone peck on your cheek, you turn to see who it is, of course it’s Park Jimin, your boyfriend.

“Stop with your daydreaming class started soon” Jimin smiles, you raise your eyebrow, “Since when you care much about class?”

“That’s mean, I do care and besides this is our last year as high schooler and who knew we will be going to the same university”

You smiles, “Yeah, but still no matter where we go, we always be together”

He shook his head, pulling you close toward him, “I never want to be apart of you and even the boys cannot be apart from you, I have to keep an eye on you”

“Like those two especially Jungkook won’t anyways, besides only you will ever be mine” you said blushes.

As Jungkook and Taehyung walk by they gag at your sweet acts

“That’s not fair, only you can drive” Taehyung protest you smiles, “Not just me, we have Jin Oppa, Hobi Oppa, Namjoon Oppa and Yoongi Oppa remember? they said they on their vacation and I was like we all can have our road trip all way up to Busan!”

Jimin smiles, “Really?” you nods, “I’ve always want to be there because it’s your and Jungkook hometown and maybe we can go to Daegu too”

Taehyung grin and hug me, “You the awesome sauce!”

Jimin pull you towards him, “Hey,no longer than 5 seconds” You giggles as Taehyung just shrug his shoulder smiles.

You couldn’t ask for better friends and you somewhat happy that Jimin teases you because that’s just what you both of relationship are.

Jimin sees you daydreaming again, he smirks as he lean closer to your ear and blows on it, you shriek loudly then get red when you realize you still in the hallways where everyone still is here and they are looking, you glare at Jimin the culprit.

“You such a meanie!” you hit his arm and stomp away from him.

It’s almost time for the dance and even you and Taehyung goin not exactly as date well it is a date but friendly date? but you still have that nervous feelings on your stomach and excited even you not that crazy about wearing dress and slow dance but you got Taehyung and Jungkook that will accompany you so it won’t be that awkward hopefully.

You and Taehyung been texting sometimes and he is a very unique guy that love to text random facts about everything from, ‘do you think we are only a speck of dust ? or why is the world is so round?’ and you just look at the text start to wonder about things you never did but he sometimes make jokes and you realize in a way he have that similar personality with Jungkook well not much but they are funny for sure and you are happy to have another friend.

You wait for Jungkook to go for dress shopping and his for suits which you are excited because he loves dressing up secretly pretending he such a tough cookie but he just a grown boy you laugh quietly thinking of Jungkook antics and you look up when you see Park Jimin was walking out the school and you look down with red face as you glance up he give a soft smile and you smile back.

You feel weird in your chest as you put your hand over it, he’s been really normal as he never tease you and you feel somehow sad by it even you should be happy you try to subtly ask Taehyung but he just said not to worry about it and you just...worried? you sigh softly and then Jungkook walk towards you, “Ready to go?” he ask and you nod as you both head over to the bus stop to go to the mall.

You’re not really into much dress shopping but Jungkook insist to make you show your selection and his as you try to protest he just give it all and push you to the dressing room, you just sigh looking at the dresses and put it on hoping it will end.

Jungkook somehow enjoying this for a guy who hates shopping and always wear different colors of plain t-shirt on daily basis but okay it might be a little enjoyable as you both finally decided on lavender dress that is mid-short and it’s very light and pretty and you are happy about it as finally you both done seeing Jungkook decided on a nice black suit with light pink long sleeved shirt well it’s more like you force it on him but it look nice so why not.

It’s about a week before the dance and you not exactly counting it down but of course everyone is busy again with selling such things as flowers and cookies to give to the special one or for friends you contemplate but maybe you can give Taehyung and Jungkook cookies.

Honestly you still don’t know why he insist saying he does not want a date but ask you to have a date yourself of course you and him still going to hang but you just wish he be more open with other girls, you sigh then you feel a hand on your shoulder you turn to see who it is when you sigh in relief to see it’s Taehyung, “Don’t scared me like that please, I have fragile heart”

He frown, “Really, oh I didn’t know that” he seems a distraught and you giggles, “No, I didn’t meant that as in a condition it means just ya know don’t scare me like that in case I get shocked you know”

He nods scratching his head smiling, “Oh, okay cool anyways why are you sighing?” You turn to look at the window seeing people playing soccer, “Nothing really don’t worry about it” you look back at him, “why you here though?not that I mind”

He smiles, “Just bored, Jimin been practicing a lot these days for the dance performance so most times I get bored and we are friends so I came here”

You smiles shyly but also happy he thought of you as friend, “That’s cool, but I’m a boring person though” He just smiles, “Don’t worry about it, since we got an hour left why don’t we go see the lab?” You question him, “Why?”

He put out his hand as you slowly take his hand still confused, “Just trust me” as he lead you way to the lab.

You coo at the sight, there’s a few animals like rabbit,mouse, frog and cat, “Oh my god, some are cute,I forgot they have them here”

Taehyung look accomplished, “Of course, not all of them experiment but Ms.Lee keep them here because the lab staff would take care of them and sometimes they would let us students take care of them like me” You look at him, “That’s awesome, this cat is so cute and so friendly” as you petting the cat that seems to be purring and snuggles comfortably on your lap.

Taehyung secretly snap a picture of you and the cat wonder how would Jimin react to this when you look up he just smile hiding his phone behind his back.

The dance is tomorrow and you look at the lack of your makeup collection, you could ask your mother but she’s not into makeup either since she’s getting old now and well you just want something light but you want to make it nicer for tomorrow dance.

It’s pretty sad when you don’t even know how to apply eyeliner properly then you remember Taehyung wear eyeliner sometimes and he look good, hmm maybe you could try to ask his advice it couldn’t hurt.

So you texted him and he agreed and ask permission to come to your home seeing only your mother home you are sure your mom won’t even mind it would be easier having him here and just go together at the dance so you both decided to meet up and get ready at your house.

Taehyung promise to be there at 3 p.m the dance start like 6 p.m so you can hang out with him just to get to know him more, he greet your mother and at instant your mother like him already turn out he is such a sweetheart bringing your mother flowers after a bit of embarrassing story on you which is unnecessary she finally let Taehyung goes to your room to help you.

“Sorry about my mommy, she can be embarrassing and always try to say bad things about me” You apologize a bit embarrassed since you don’t have much friend that goes to your house other than Jungkook really but he just smiles and waves it off, “Nah, your mom is cool, she’s cute”

You smiles, “So, you know about makeup? cause I'm at loss and I don’t know have any girl friend so you can see I’m stuck, sorry to bother you with this”

“I won’t say I’m expert but I know little things so don’t worry about it, you already pretty but we need to enhance that prettiness” he grin

You blushes, “Whatever, but thanks I hope you don’t mind Jungkook is coming later on so we can all go together, Jungkook brother is going to send us”

Taehyung nods, “It’s cool, I don’t mind though I hope at the dance I hope you don’t mind Jimin is sitting with us?” You look at him feeling your heart beating a little faster at the mention of Jimin name wonder if he have a date but shook it off, “Um, yeah of course not, we all friends so it’s alright”

Taehyung beamed, “Cool, now let me see your makeup collection and I can teach you basics of it and whatever you need”

After having impromptu tutorial on makeup which you impressed by Taehyung knowledge, he start to makeup you simple but somehow he make it look neat, your eyes look bigger, you lips look nice who knows you can look this pretty, you feel a little confident and decide to enjoy yourself for tonight.

Jungkook came by half an hour before we are going, you look at the mirror nervously your hair is nicely done letting your hair fall down naturally wave, Jungkook call out for you, you turn around and he look surprised you can’t help to blush, “You look beautiful..wow my best friend is hot” You hit his arm, “Stop…”

Jungkook chuckles, “I’m serious, aww man now all the guys will be all over you” You roll your eyes, “You are not my friend anymore” Jungkook just laugh as you walk out and walk down the stairs as your mother help Taehyung fix his tie somehow your mother really fond of Taehyung you won’t even question that.

At your arrival, she admire how beautiful you look and finally look like a beautiful young girl, you pout thanks mom as the boys just chuckles, she quickly usher you three to take pictures, you protest feeling embarrassed still as your mother took make many pictures but how can you resist as you let her.

After hundreds of photos taken and I’m not even kidding you, she finally let us off to have fun and to be safe as we all get in Jungkook’s brother car and went to the dance.

As we get there, the students is scattered all around, there’s pretty lights everywhere and everyone look very nice as Taehyung and Jungkook escort you, you feel a bit embarrassed as you feel some people eyes on you but the reassurance of Jungkook make you feel a bit better as you three walk in the venue and get seated.

The beginning of the dance is boring like usual, there’s speech and reminder to vote for the king and queen of the night then the dance and the mingling begins people around you do not waste their time getting their partner to dance on the dance floor, there’s also photobooth which is a good thing as you taking silly photos with Jungkook then you saw Taehyung coming over with Jimin you feel a bit unsure of what to do, Jungkook notice this and give you a nudge, you just shook your head and smiles.

“Hey guys, mind if we take some picture with you guys?” Taehyung ask while Jimin just stare at you, Jungkook shrug doesn’t mind as Taehyung grin and pull Jimin towards the box of things which contain props for the photobooth picture.

Taehyung take a bunch of silly props like big glasses, some kind of fur and Jimin is sporting some cute headband...not that he’s cute you shook that thought as you and the guys take a bunch of picture after a while Taehyung ask you to dance it’s an upbeat songs you just let him lead you as you both dance who knew he’s a funny dancer then you switch with Jungkook and for a while you let yourself loose.

After you take a break having some drinks while the boys is talking they actually have something in common and you just watch them then a slow song came Jungkook look at you with a suggestive eyes you just roll your eyes, “Why don’t you dance with Jimin over here?”

Jimin eyes wide as he heard Jungkook suggestion and Taehyung nudging him, “Yeah, we all friends and we both have dance with you, so it’s your turn Jimin!”

You would like to protest but Taehyung already make Jimin stand and you don’t have the heart to say no when your cheeks is blushing madly as he offer his hand and you take it as he lead you to the dance floor.

Awkwardly you put your each hands on his shoulder as he put his on your waist, your skin feel heated, it’s just a dance as you move closer and wrap your arms closer he look at you seeing a bit nervous, “Stop being so nervous you make me nervous too, let’s just enjoy it okay?” he just nod as he start to relax.

After a awhile it’s not bad and you both enjoyed it although the feelings of slow dance with Park Jimin seems unreal as you sneak glances on his feature, he is very handsome despite his chubby cheek that seems to slim down over the past years, puberty sure did wonders but you secretly love his sweet cheek it make him more lovable well sort of.

After the dance ended you both went back to the table as Jungkook and Taehyung eyeing you two with a smug look but you just ignore them and their teasing after the event ended all four of you decided to to hang out at this ice cream place near the town for some refreshment.

When you get there Taehyung and Jungkook said they going to buy the ice cream leaving you and Jimin sitting there awkwardly, you clear your throat, “So, that was a fun event yeah?”

He nods, “Yeah, it was pretty cool” then the silence started again somehow you not sure what to say and he seem not wanting to say anything then the boys came you smile at Jungkook, “Thanks, you got my favorite” Jungkook shrug his shoulder, “Obviously”

You just punch his shoulder playfully and take a bite savoring the chocolatey ice cream melt in your mouth as you open your eyes Jimin been staring at you, you blushes as you look down at your ice cream.

Jungkook sees this and make a woo sound, “Geez, you two is sickeningly make me barf”

You glare at Jungkook, “Yah, there’s no such thing whatever you think, I’m going out first, I need to go home”

Jungkook tug my arm, “Ah, come on we just got here, I know your mom won’t mind it’s not even midnight yet”

“I’m just tired that’s all, my house only a few blocks away, I will call you when I get home you guys just hang out but thank you for tonight it was fun” before they can say anything you walk out the shop with your ice cream you just need to be away from Jimin somehow being close to him make you think weird things.

As you walk back home you started to feel the cold of the night, you totally forgot to bring jacket and usually Jungkook would offer his, you walk in fast pace wanting the warm then you heard footsteps behind you, you started feeling a little scared you walk a little faster then you heard him, “Wait! Y/N, it’s just me” you turn around and saw it’s Jimin you just look at him, “You know how dangerous it is for you to walk alone?” You shrug

“I was pretty sure you were scared before..isn’t it?” he teases and you just huff turning around starting to walk again, he follows you, “I’m kidding, I’m sorry”

“I don’t care, you can go home now I’ll be fine” he look at you knowing how stubborn you can be, “Let me just send you home then I will go”

You just shrug act like you don’t care, “Sure, whatever suits you”

He smiles then notice you shivering he took off his jacket as he put his around your shoulder liking the way you blushes at the contact.

“You don’t have to do this…” you said softly.

He put his hands on his pocket, “I do it because I wanted to, don’t worry about it”

You glances at him then look away.

Why he has to be so good looking and handsome and stupidly charming now, can’t he just be mean until we done with school

As you complaining to yourself the silence somehow not that awkward and then you both reach your home, “Um, thanks for walking me home and the jacket”

He smiles, “No worries, Jungkook would kill me if anything happens to you”

“Yeah…” you take off the jacket and hold it out, “Thanks”

He reach for the jacket and your hand brushes against him, it feels odd and he stares at you as you stare back then it was over.

“I should go in...anyways be home safe” you said quickly as you walk in you can see him stand there for a good few seconds and left smiling and you touch your heart feeling it’s beating much faster than usual.

It’s monday again and you dreading going to school you get to your locker like usual but sees none of the boys and you feel a little disappointed somehow you take out your books when someone covering your eyes, you frown

“Yah, Jungkook stop playing it’s too early for this” you rip out his hands but it’s not Jungkook but it’s Jin Sunbae

You bow apologetically, “Sorry Sunbae, I thought it was my best friend...sorry”

He chuckles, “Don’t worry about it, sorry for that sudden move, I see you seeing not that happy”

“Oh, I’m just fine but you know it’s monday not a very fun day for me”

He smiles, “Understood...I came here because I need your help it’s for school program if you don’t mind?”

“Oh, sure I don’t mind it would be fun, what is it about?” you ask

“It’s about volunteering, I know you loves doing that so when the teacher give us a green light to do this program I thought of you, we allowed to take someone with us to help”

You nods, “I do love it, thank you for thinking of me, I can’t wait”

Then you saw Jimin and Taehyung walk over, you smiles at them but Jimin seems doesn’t care and just went straight to get books from his locker and say his goodbye to Taehyung and left….that’s weird

“Don’t worry about Jimin, he’s being an idiot” Taehyung comfort you, you just give small smile, it’s not like you meant anything to him Jin look a bit worried at you but you assured him you are fine as you bid goodbyes and went to your respective classes.

You can’t stop thinking at Jimin behaviour, it feels like yesterday there’s something but today it’s like strangers and you don’t like it one bit you can’t even concentrate as you went to your lunch you just needed to know why he’s like that

J-hope snaps you out from your trance, you look at him

“I feel bad for the food that you keep on stabbing, who's making you so mad? remind me to not get on your bad side”

“It’s nothing…” you sigh and he raise his eyebrow, “That’s doesn’t sound like nothing well even if you can’t tell me maybe you should talk to that person instead of being an angry cute ball”

You look at weirdly, “Stop being weird but thanks” you get up and decided to do just that.

By Taehyung help, he said if Jimin not eating lunch with you he would be at the basketball court or dance studio but usually dance studio is occupied so you went to the court, you peek in and sees him shooting some balls and by the looks of it, he’s not that bad you let out a breath and walk in, he notices as he stops and look at you.

You stand in front of him,” You have no right, you know?”

He look at you not understanding as why you suddenly throw the words out.

“I don’t get you first you enjoyed bullying me, teasing me and I can take that then suddenly out of nowhere you being nice, eat lunch with me and then sometimes you ignore me for days and then I don’t get you, can’t you just make up your mind or tell me what’s going on?”

As you finishes talking he get closer to you, you step back unconsciously but he keep getting closer until your back is against the wall.

“You don’t get it do you?” he said finally and you look at him in confusion.

He lean down almost too close you can feel his breath, your heart beating so fast but you ask him anyways.

“Get...what?”

“I like you..” he said and your mind then caught up, he like you as in like like you? wait...he likes you all this time?

You look at him, “B-but…”

“Haven’t you heard, when a boy like a girl what he would usually do is pulling her ponytails or tease her around because the boy is a coward who can only watch others get close to her and hoping she’s not taken…” you can feel his sincerity and a hint of sadness when he whisper that last word.

“She’s not taken yet…”you whispers back shyly

He look at your surprised then he hold out his hand, “I hope she don’t mind, if this boy take her for a date after school?”

You just nodded, it’s still somehow a lot to process but you now understand that he likes you and you do like him apparently.

The day passes by fast but you feel weird when Jimin is not there at lunch like usual maybe you being obvious when Hoseok asking, “Looking for Jimin?” you blush and shook your head, “Um, no just looking around…” Hoseok give a knowing look but doesn’t push further and you just eat your food silently.

As usual Jungkook waiting by the gate and he seem to talking to someone you walk over curiously and saw it’s Jimin it feels weird not seeing him all day and when he saw you he quickly bid goodbye to Jungkook and walk away and you frown at that as you get to Jungkook.

“What was that about ?” you ask Jungkook, he look at you, “What?” You give him a look, “Why Park Jimin talking to you, I don’t know you guys know each other?” Jungkook proceed to put his arm around your shoulder and start to walk, “Don’t you remember we on the dance club together just talking about some dance routine” You nods, “Oh…”

it seems there’s a lot of people today but it’s not too crowded thankfully and you just feel the breeze of the wind at the park but then a kid passing by you causing you to lost control of your bicycle and fell you feel a prickling pain on your legs when you feel a hand try to held you up it’s a calming voice, “Just relax okay, I will help you” suddenly you being pick up bridal style you didn’t open your eyes yet due to the pain but you just trust this person as he putting you down near a bench then when you saw him, it’s your senior, Kim Seokjin.

He’s assessing your injuries which is not bad but you have a scraped knees and it bleeds you hisses in pain when he’s trying to touch it softly and apologize, you shook your head telling it’s okay though you feel embarrassed that it was him found you this way.

“I don’t have any band-aid so let me just buy some at the convenience store can you wait here for me?” He ask you don’t want to trouble him but you found yourself nod and he smile softly as he run to the store you just sit there a bit dumbfounded .

After 5 minutes he came with a band-aid and he gently put it on, it still hurt but its bearable thankfully you look up at him and you notice how handsome he looks and he seem a very gentle kind of person you do saw him from time to time very friendly a little awkward on the side but overall nice person.

There is one time you have to pair up with a senior for a festival and somehow you pair with him and you were lucky because he is just so nice and you can’t help to be easily comfortable around him and since then sometimes you caught him staring and you wonder why but never think too much of it.

“You good?” he ask and you nod still a little shy, “Yeah, thank you so much sunbae sorry to trouble you honestly I’m so clumsy” He just smiles, “No, it’s alright and it’s not your fault the kid just don’t see where he’s going and causing you to fell down and I was there and we sort of know each other it would be rude not to help”

After a while just sitting in silence you decide to get home and he offered to walk you home at first you hesitant but you know it’s hard to walk so you let him help then you both start to walking home.

Jin glance at you he want to say something but he’s not sure how would you feel, you notice he seem want to say something so you tell him to sit for a while at the playground before you get home he look at you, “Do you want to say something?” you ask timidly and he look a bit unsure but the said, “Well, I think you know by now who is the one send you the letter right?”

You look at him nervously, “Yeah...I’m sorry” he just smiles a little sad it seems before you can say anything else he says, “It’s alright, I mean we don’t even know each other so I understand that you do not like me that way and you don’t have to feel guilty because I think you like someone else” You look at him wide eyes and he continue again, “I’m graduating this year so maybe it’s for the better but I want to say I do enjoy our short time together and maybe we can still be friends after this” You look down although he says its alright still you feel guilty you look up at him, “Thank you sunbae, I don’t know why you still want to be friend after I just ignore your letter though”

He just shrug, “It’s no big deal and you are still young well we are all young so a little rejection sometimes helps I guess and it’s not like it’s end of the world and I do like having you around, you so cute” you blushes at his compliment even it may take a while for him to get over his crush but having him as you friend is something you know you will never regret then you grab his hand and stand up and he look a little flustered, “Let’s go eat some ice cream sunbae, I will treat you for walking me home okay?”

He clear his throat out from his trance of thought that you actually holding his hand even just a friend and just nods while you drag him even with a limping leg this somehow will turn out as a beautiful friendship he can tell.

Sunday is a little slow as always you think about yesterday spending time with Jin sunbae who knew he can be awkwardly funny you talk a lot about what he’s doing after school and he want to pursue acting and maybe business minor on the side and a bunch other stuff and you feel happy that you work out well with him then your mind drift on Park Jimin...he honestly confused you so much since the freshmen year he would always teasing you but not in a bad way just innocent tease and now you both in junior year and becoming locker neighbour it seems a normal occurance so when he just avoid you completely last week it throw you off.

Nobody knows that you and Jimin know back in the day of kindergarten year when you were 5 and he is 6 years old at that time you don’t know Jungkook yet as he is a year younger than you.

You were a very shy girl since beginning and when you get to kindergarten you prefer playing alone until he came along and silently he would sit down next to you and play with his car toy you didn’t really care much but somehow he is always next to you even during nap or lunch time then it become a routine he always smile at you before you being pick up by your mother and even you still shy but you managed to always wave at him and that make him smile even brighter and you notice even now when you see him smile it feels that it’s a healing smile and wow you need to stop thinking about him, you don’t even like him that way...right?

You shook that thought off and get ready for the day wearing your white loose shirt and leggings since you not exactly going anywhere staying home being lazy and nobody is home since your parents goes to their friend wedding party you start to make some simple brunch as you turnt up the music, oh yeah you love being alone and dance like nobody's watching you giggling to yourself as you goes out to the living room and flip through the channel as you about to take a bite of your food someone ring the doorbell you pout at the disturbance but get up thinking who could it be since since your parent’s won't be back till like dinner time you open the door.

“Hey buddy!” Jungkook greet walks in leisurely you roll your eyes and close the door so much time for being alone.

You crosses your arm looking at him, “What are you doing here Jungkook?”

Jungkook shrug, “Nothing, I was bored and what you don’t like me here now?”

You just sit besides him, “No, but don’t you have dance practice today?” knows that he’s been working hard for the dance performance for the end of year.

Jungkook try to take some of your food but you slap his hand away and he pout, “I’m hungry do it yourself and please explain your presence here”

Jungkook sighs, “Fine, the practice won’t start till like in 2 hours and it’s evaluation day so I need your support” he said fidgeting a bit and you look at him, “Aww, why you don’t tell me sooner and of course I will come ! you will do amazing as always”

Jungkook smiles, “Thanks, I guess I just been so nervous but having you there would really help” You just shook your head, “You silly boy, let’s just eat first then we can get going?”

He nods as he make himself at home as usual after you both eat and you get dressed you both went to his dance studio where he practice his dance most of the people there is on the dance club school.

Although you love dance and as Jungkook says you are not that bad but you just let Jungkook take the spot on the stage because he is made for it while you love being the best friend that stand on the sidelines cheering him.

Jungkook went to warm up so you sit down at the corner watching him then you saw Hoseok that is you know are amazing at dance he’s a dance prodigy he notice at you and wave with his bright smile and you wave back shyly then besides him you notice Jimin he is looking at you but you can’t read his emotion as you look back down at your phone.

Soon the evaluation starts all of them are amazing since they all are dancers then it’s Jungkook turn and you give thumbs up and your biggest smile to encourage him and he nods with determination and as always he ace it and you may clap the loudest but hey it’s your best friend after he finish he sit next to you, after that it’s Jimin turn and you can see he is in his element somehow the way his dance is so captivating, it lure your eyes to just watch his every graceful but sharp movement and you can’t help to be in awe.

You do notice him sometimes he would dance randomly and he always move with graceful and now when you see him live it feels weird but not a bad feeling, it’s like you fell in love with the beauty of his movement.

After everything is done it seems the teacher is satisfied and you feel happy for Jungkook and the rest because this means they will be performing in the festival and you were excited for them, after everyone already leaves just a few packing Jungkook ask to stay for a bit and you just follow him.

Jungkook turn to you, “Let’s dance”

You look at him weirdly, “What?” Jungkook just smile and get up, “Let’s dance, it’s been awhile since you dance with me and it’s just for fun, come on”

You sighs, “I don’t even wear appropriately” Jungkook shakes his head, “What you wear is fine, come on get up lazy bum” You pout as you get up and Jungkook goes to the stereo and start to connect his phone and search for music.

Then the studio is vibrating with loud bass music as Jungkook motion you to start stretching and you did might as well enjoy this.

You feel a little insecure since there is a few people hanging around just talking to each other but you let it go when Jungkook start to dance silly to loosen up and you just laugh it off then he start to make motion to dance freestyle and you just let it flow your dance move may not up to professional par but Jungkook always takes the time to teach you to dance because you both love watching dance cover from youtube and you love them so he will make it a practice for him but also something for you to learn.

Jungkook smiles, “Hey, let’s the the choreographer we learn last week” You remember he teach you to Ian Eastwood choreo dance to “Fall by Justin Bieber” you love it so much but you not that that confident you try to resist but he take no for an answer, “Come on I know you remember just follow the flow,believe in yourself” You sigh knowing he as stubborn as ever and he quickly put on the song as it started he grin and you both start to dance in sync.

Then it get’s to the part ;

“I don’t think I can stay sitting around while you’re hurting babe, so take my hand”

He took out his hand as you just smile take his hand playfully and get to the dance till it finish and a few people there clap you started to get shy and he just grin as he put his arm around you as you shyly hiding from other people viewing your red face.

You can feel someone's gaze at the back of your head but you think nothing being embarrassed after everyone is leaving you wait for Jungkook to get something from the locker you look up and saw Jimin who with his friend and he look over at you, you just look down at your phone again thought he already left but then you feel someone in front of you, it’s him.

“Hey…” You bit your lips out of habit of nervous you say hi back wondering when it get this silence when he usually would tease you, “You really a good dancer, why don’t you enter the dance club?”

You avert your eyes away feeling a little shy, “Uh, I’m not that good, it’s just a hobby for me”

He nods, “So..you and Jungkook…” before he can finish his question Jungkook come out as he look at Jimin and you questioningly Jimin just waves goodbye to you and Jungkook and left.

“What did he say? he’s not teasing you again is he?” Jungkook ask you walk back home with him and you just shook your head, “No, just nothing really he said I’m good”

“He said that? well you are “ Jungkook confirmed and you just push him to the side and Jungkook smiles, “Come on, you are but you too much of a nerd to even participate on dance”

You stick out your tongue, “Whatever, I do what I want besides it’s your dream not mine, I’m content and I love writing more”

Jungkook grin cheekily as he pinched your cheek, “Nerd” then he run ahead” You glare at him as you pick up the pace when you obviously could not compete to his athletic form then road a bit slippery and suddenly you fell on your butt Jungkook look a little alarmed as he jog back to you and hold you up, you hiss in pain.

“I’m sorry, let me carry you” you shook your head not wanting to trouble him and Jungkook sigh as he pick you up, by the sudden contact you put your arm around his neck, “Jungkook!”

“Don’t be stubborn, we almost there let me do this” he said firmly and you just nod.

The accident is not much really is just your butt being sore and Jungkook back to teasing you, why can’t you just say ass and you hit him well try to as he keep teasing you saying butt innocently, you crosses your arm, “you so mean! I can say butt or whatever word, jerk!”

Jungkook laugh as he lay down besides you, “I’m kidding, geez you too naive sometimes”

“I do not, you get out” you said feeling sulky even you not that mad but he always being a tease this is what you get being best friend with Jeon Jungkook.

Jungkook look at you get all serious, “who ask you for dance?” you look at him, “Um, Kim Taehyung” he look surprise, “Really? I thought Park Jimin would” you feel your face getting red but you cough to hide it as you ask why he’s just someone who like to tease you.

“Don’t you know if a guy teasing you to that extent meaning he likes you and I thought you supposed to be smart” he said proudly and you just flick his forehead as he hiss in pain you smirk at him, “Good that it hurts, and it’s not like that we don’t even know each other well so stop talking nonsense now who you taking to the dance?”

Jungkook smile at this, “No one” you frown…” What?”

Jungkook chuckles, “It just some of the girls been trying to get me to the dance and I just don’t have the heart to take any well I’m just not that interested?”

You look at him weirdly but then you recalled he never talk about his interest on anyone you wonder if it’s your fault when you feel a flick on your forehead you rub it as you glare at him, “Hey...what was that for?”

He take your hand,” Stop saying this is your fault I know you, we been best friend forever and I never regret it once and I know sometimes I can’t always be there with you and people always mistake us for couple which I don’t mind” You glare at him as he smiles and continue, “I’m kidding but as long we know who we are to each other it doesn’t matter what other thinks though someone who likes you might misunderstanding and I don’t want that”

You just hit him with a pillow as he just let you and after you both settle down you both talk all night from everything to nothing that make sense and you just can’t get his word out, someone who likes you? Jin? but you feelin it’s someone else but you just push the thought down relationship is not your priorities for now.

BTS HIGH SCHOOL EDITION [PART 2]

Namjoon is a good student, he is the top student, he never turn in his homework late even how much he hates homework, he always get to school in time despite him being an owl person but today is not his day at all despite him always breaking things but today is the worst day, the alarm just doesn’t go off, his mom is gone as the note left says going to groceries as he try to catch a bus he just splashed by the puddle of water on the sidewalk and he is absolutely late and that’s how he got his detention pretty stupid but whatever, he just sigh as he get to detention class and saw you sitting in the corner, Namjoon definitely surprised because you are definitely not fit in here, he decided to sit next to you at least there is someone he knows ignoring some creepy girl who is blowing bubble gums weirdly and another guy on other corner keep staring at the board, okay then.

Namjoon slides in the seat you look on your side surprise he put up his hand, “Hey” you nods and mumbles, “Hey…”

Namjoon look at you, you look back at him mouthing, “What?” Namjoon then ask, “Why you here?”

You sighs, “Late for school, it’s stupid honestly” Namjoon agrees, “You tell me, same reason like we only late for few minutes and they decide to give detention” You shrugged, “I guess we got the strictest teacher, you know how Mr.Choi can be he’s scary” Namjoon chuckles and nods the class is pretty quiet and the teacher that in charge honestly don’t ever care so it’s nice to have a talk with Namjoon you never thought Namjoon is just very nice person to talk too well he is nice but you just so shy and this detention somehow bring that friendship closer and you are happy with that as for the rest of detention you talk to him about everything but mostly music and just random stuff turn out you both can get pretty deep.

Finally the detention is over you look at the time as you supposedly to meet Jungkook at his house for project assignment, Namjoon seeing you a bit distressed, “hey you okay?” You nods, “yeah, just need to finish project with Jungkook and may need to tell him why I’m late because I got a detention whether he will be too worried or tease me after”

Namjoon pat your head and smiles, “Nah, don’t worry he will be fine just text him you know how he is, let’s go home” you nod a bit awkward and Namjoon took the initiative to pull your wrist softly and you follow him as he accompany you seeing you both going in the same direction.

Just then there’s a silhouettes looking at you both walking away, sighing softly as there’s another person besides him, “Hyung, you okay?”

Jin nods, “yeah, totally fine” Yoongi just look at him not believing but not his problem to ask furthermore, “Well, I’m going home see you tomorrow” and Jin just nod as Yoongi walk off and Jin look at the pink letter that he about to give to you, it’s might be silly for him to give you letter like this but he wanted to even you might not return his feeling he hesitate to slip it to your locker or not but decide to give it later...maybe.

You really appreciated Namjoon gesture to accompany you all the way to Jungkook house you about to protest but he said his house is near  Jungkook house as he drop you off and he continue to his house that is a couple of block, you ring the doorbell and you were greeted by Jungkook sweet mother as she usher you in as she start to ask if you already ate and you just nod as she insist you stay at dinner like always and you agreed as you goes upstairs and knock the door and you can hear him saying to come in and you walk in, he look up, “Finally here?”

You pout, “I told you already, it’s not my fault” he chuckle seeing your cute expression he’s not mad just worried, “Alright stop with the pouting already,it’s like a cat being kick’ You hit his arm, “Jerk”

He just smiles teasingly, “Too bad our goody two shoe girl is tainted by her first time detention, you have change!” You glare at him and turn away from him, “I hate you, see if I care anymore”

He drape his arm around your shoulder, “I’m kidding, let’s hear some music, I got some cool new songs to show you” You look at him, “How about the project?” He shrug as he grab his laptop setting it up, “I done half of it and don’t worry we can finish by this week, the due date is in two weeks and besides you have a rough day so let’s just relax okay?”

You hug him unexpectedly and he just smiles hugging back, “Aww, someone is getting sappy now” You mumbles still hugging him, “stop ruining the moment, jerk”

He smiles as pull away and give another bud of the earphone to you,and you take it smiling back, you are so content having best friend like Jungkook as you both spend your time with him enjoying music time with your besties.

Next day comes and you feeling a little better and not late as Jungkook waiting for you first thing in the morning and you are touched but you know he’s a heavy sleeper like you but you love him making an effort, “Good morning” you nods still feeling sleepy, “morning, you don’t have to come all the way here to go to school with me”

He smiles putting his arm around you, “Just a precaution besides I miss my morning with you” you just smiles as you walk with him to the bus stop and went to school.

The day went by like usual, somehow the routine having Hoseok, Namjoon and Jimin is normal well usually Jimin came by when you almost finish but somehow he always managed to get you flustered by his sudden sweet action, then the school is over for the day and you wait by the library for your math tutor with Yoongi, you are kind of nervous since he is pretty intimidating but you calm yourself hoping to get through this tutor smoothly.

Yoongi walk in and saw you and he goes and sit in front of you, you look at him nervously he smirk, “loosen up kid, I won’t bite” You nods give a nervous smile and he can’t help to laugh inside this girl is too cute no wonder Jin likes her, “Alright, let’s start it off easy okay I will give you some solution to work on and from there we will see what is your weaknesses, alright?” You nod without saying a word and start to do the solution he gave.

After 2 hours of doing math exercise your eyes getting tired you look up as he look bored but he really teach you well surprisingly and even you does a lot of mistake he diligently teach you the easy way and you just awe by it every time.

“Alright, I think that’s enough for today so you understand everything so far?” Yoongi ask and you nod eagerly a bit embarrassed but he just give a comforting smile, “Thanks sunbae, it really helps your method is so easy and I don’t want to say this too early but I think I can do it, it just I been so worried so much since I don’t like math at all”

Yoongi just chuckles, “Nobody likes math, you just gotta do exercise a lot of them and you will get it eventually, same time next week?” you nods as you start to pack and Yoongi bid goodbye as you thank him again, you smile feeling relief it’s over and it wasn’t bad at all.

You get to your locker to put some of your books when you open the locker there’s that same pink envelope letter your heart racing as you take it decided to just read it at home you walk out the school seeing Jungkook waiting outside you smiles as you walk over to him, “Hey, sorry to keep you waiting” He shrug and put on his backpack, “No worries just get off from dance practice anyway, how’ s the tutor?” You start to walk besides him, “It was good surprisingly and he’s really good I think I can do well by finals” Jungkook ruffles your hair despite your protest, “That’s my girl” you roll your eyes knows that he meant well then he ask, “You know in a month we going to have school dance” you glance at him, “Really? I didn’t notice how much time passes” Jungkook agrees then reply, “I know, so who you going with seeing you might have a few asking you” he said nudging you and you push him away playfully, “Do not, I don’t know honestly I don’t really care I was thinking not going but I know you will throw a fit so I guess I’ll just go” Jungkook smile satisfy, “Good, because I have a feel you will get asked so just say yes and enjoy the party” You raise your eyebrow, “So, it doesn’t matter who?”

Jungkook nods, “Yep, but if he some perv I will kick his ass first don’t worry cause nobody deserve you for a long term relationship in this school” You giggles at his protective mood, “Okay, Jungkook got it I know I can always count on you”

“Obviously, I am the best and you should treat me for ice cream!” he exclaimed and you just roll your eyes but agreed to it anyways.

Even the dance is going to like a month away but all the students been hustling and bustling through the hallway promoting flowers and chocolate or pulling on how to get someone to accept the dance proposal.

The thing about this school they does school not just for senior which will be end of year but also for freshmen and junior years combined on the middle of the year which is ridiculous but who are you to say anything you not that worried about it because you don’t really care even it would be nice to buy new dress as you smile to yourself you get to the locker and surprisingly Jimin is not here like he usually is but Taehyung is seeing he is skimming through his book you walk over to your locker next to Taehyung and he notice you and smile as you smile back and get your books.

You were looking over your lesson for next class when you feel someone is staring at you, you look up and sees Taehyung seeing flustered getting caught staring, “Um, something wrong? He shook his head, “No, it just….” you look at him encourage for him to continue, “Well, woulgyougotothedancewithme?” as he put out a flower and small box...wait Kim Taehyung asking me to the dance?

You look at him not believing why would he ask you, “Why?” He look at you a bit bashful as he keep licking his lips nervously, “It just I think you a nice girl and I just want to take you, I mean we don’t have to do anything just….go together?” You look at him then at the flower and the box and take it, “Thanks and sure why not I honestly not that hype about the dance thing” He nod in understanding feeling relief, “That’s cool honestly my mom been bugging and well it’s not bad to enjoy yourself right and I’m sure your best friend like will hang with you and all seeing you guys so close”

You giggles quietly, “Yeah, he is always like that pretty sure the whole school knows but well he will have his date but we like to keep it balance and I mean you not that bad so why not give it a chance” He smiles that unique smile of his and wonder if other people did ask him he is good looking honestly, “Thanks, I thought I would be too late on asking you”

You laugh at his remark, “No one like me like that” He gives you a look saying you being ridiculous, “Don’t sell yourself short honestly trust me you are a great girl” You blushes but thank him and you both exchange numbers although you know him but you don’t know him that well and you are happy having another friend.

You almost dozing off when someone slaps his hand over the desk startling you, “Ugh, what?” turn out it’s your best friend, Jungkook grinning and you just roll your eyes, “What do you want?” Jungkook shrug and sit next to you, “Nothing, just bored and it’s free period why are you sleeping?what did you do last night?” as he wiggles his eyebrows suggestively and you just shove him off, “Nothing, I just can’t sleep so I’m on tumblr” you mumbles and Jungkook reply, “Geez, what’s with your obsession with tumblr, is there some secret about it make you stay up so late huh” You sighs as you lay your head on the table facing him, “It’s nothing for you to concern anyways”

Jungkook not satisfied with your boring answer start to poke your arm, “Yah, don’t sleep,it’s almost lunch soon we should go eat outside today”

You block his hand as he try to poke you again, “Not in the mood, you have other friend don’t you? go with them”

Jungkook pout and sometimes you can’t believe that girls would fall for this facade of shy guy when he’s such a kid honestly, “Ah come on, oh wait is this about Jin hyung the senior?” You cheek start to redden as you sit up, “What even are you talking about?”  

Jungkook smiles too bright and it kind of scares you, “Like I don’t know, he obviously your not so secret admirer” You frown at him and hit his arm earning an ouch from him, “Don’t even start, he just gave me a card no big deal”

“The only who give you the card make me barf reading the poem making my teeth rotten” as Jungkook mumbles you hit his head, he groan, “Hey! not cool and it’s true but if he supposed to be the one, he’s not bad I mean he is good looking a little self conceited but not too bad”

You are not getting peace here as you start to get up and he pull you down, you look at him, “What else do you want? I need to get my book for my next period”

“We are project partner for English, let’s work on it after school?” Jungkook smile sweetly and you just roll your eyes after agreeing to met him after school.

You walk to your locker and then you saw someone you somehow despises but sort of not hate but like, it’s complicated bare with me please heart.

Jimin starts to grin, “Hey baby, miss me already” You roll your eyes for a thousand times honestly boys are stupid but somehow you can never get away but you just ignore him as Taehyung his partner in crime of course both of them somehow become your locker neighbour how unfortunate honestly to say, it’s weird to say  all you been  friends  with or acquaintance but have a very weird kind of friendship, Jimin likes to tease you a lot but also always accompany you to lunch which is again weird but you never try to question to filled that thoughts in your mind.

Taehyung just give you his usually smile and you smile back half-heartedly as you take out your books and maybe you just so weak or you didn’t eat lunch yet, the book fell along with your assignment paper scattered you just sigh in frustration but Taehyung quickly help as Jimin pick up the book, you turn to him, “Please give me my book back” you try to reach and you hated yourself being so short even Jimin is short but you are pretty short and you just look at him in frustration as he keep it high, “Park Jimin, give me my book I don’t have time to deal with you right now”

Jimin grin loves to tease you how you pout cutely in frustration call him a sadist but it just a waste to not tease her, “Well, if you want this book back, go lunch with me?” You look at him with blank face, “You already did anyways like you need to ask” He just smirks, “Well, I wanna hear you say it sincerely and honestly” You look at him honestly you don’t want to deal but whatever, “Fine, you can have lunch with me, I would be happy too, are you satisfied?”

Jimin chuckles as he lean down and you back away as you hit the locker, “you so cute, see you at lunch” he hand to book in your hand as you feeling his warm hand in the passing he just smiles as he start to walk off and Taehyung give you the rest of the paper and smiles, “Sorry about Jimin, he’s weird like that” You shook your head, “it’s fine, I’m used to it anyways” he nods as he start to catch with Jimin.

Taehyung honestly not bad, although he may came off as a bad boy personal, he is the sweetest guy who cannot resist cute animals and he always smile whenever he sees you though you not sure why, you just shrug it off and start to walk to your math class, the class you hated the most and the one subject you despises most and when your teacher ask to stay after class make it uneasy, you walk to the desk, “yes, teacher?”

Your teacher, Mrs.Shin smiles gently, “I know you don’t really like math and it seems your math marks is getting a bit worse so I assigned you for a tutor from senior and I hope you used that as advantage to help you improve alright?” You nods slowly, “Okay”

You look over the paper that your teacher gave you as you sigh, the name of your tutor,

Min Yoongi, what are the odds, you didn’t know him that well but even though he seems lethargic type but he is good in Math apparently you know there’s no way out so you just hope that it will go swiftly as you shove the paper on your bag, hoping tomorrow won’t be so awkward.

It’s finally lunch time and now you feeling hungry as you walk in the cafeteria that full of students hustling and bustling, you get to the counter and get some bread and drinks then you goes to find a seat seeing almost all the seats is full but then you saw a flailing of hand waving at you, you quickly goes over, Jung Hoseok  a.k.a your lunch buddy unofficially, he grin as he says hi so brightly his aura is almost blinding you that you can’t help to smile and your irritation dissipate, “Hey, Hoseok”  

“Hey, you look lovely as always keep that smile instead of scowling at everyone” he chuckles, you just shook your head, “Sure, sure”

Then Kim Namjoon came Hoseok’s best friend same grade as Hoseok but probably the smartest guy he could’ve skip grade but he doesn’t, he sits besides Hoseok and give you a nod, you just smile shyly as he smiles and eat his food but somehow knock his drink, Hoseok just look at him unfazed, “Dude, can you not make any accidents for every second in your life?” Namjoon just shrug his shoulder, “Not my fault” as he just continue on eating.

You take a bite of you bread as you about to have your drink Jimin sit next to you and open the drink for you, “Here you go princess” You took your drink and mumble thank as your sip the drink and he just grin showing the eye smile but you totally not glancing at him at all, Hoseok look at Jimin, “Stop bothering her Jimin, let the girl eat in peace” Jimin turn to Hoseok, “Ah, hyung I’m just helping her nothing wrong with caring for my girlfriend” as you hear his words you starts to cough then he carelessly pat your back your heart beating faster as you sit up, “uh, I have to go...bathroom” you hurriedly goes to the bathroom hoping no one notice your burning cheeks.

Hoseok give Jimin a nagging, “You just can never leave her alone don’t you? If you want to ask her out do it properly instead of teasing her everyday and you know what to do”

Jimin just nod it off, “I get it, I know she likes me she just don’t want to admit it yet so it’s okay I can wait, well I’m going to go now ciao” then Jimin left as Namjoon just raise his eyebrow at the scene just happened, “I feel for her” Hoseok nods and sigh, “same”

“Does it hurt when you saw him with another guy or girl?” you friend Jia ask when you hanging with her at the coffee shop you just look outside the window shop feeling the bitterness in your heart, of course it hurts you know the inevitable pain but you welcome him anyway, you fell for him, for his sweet talk, his humor, his smile, his laugh. Now thinking all those traits just hurt you more, it feels like there’s thorn in your heart prickling with no mercy you can’t escape the hurt.

You thought that you can escape from him but you know you can’t when he’s waiting for you in front of your apartment not even begging for forgiveness he just there as he belong there and no matter how much you want to push him you just can’t because he knows that you love him and he used that to his advantage.

He would reach out for you, you back away but he held you with so much love and you feel the heat of his body and you succumb because you are weak at his sweet talk, you sick of it but why you always fall back to him, this make Jimin so angry because he knows the guy, Jae only using you and it hurt him so much to see you getting more lifeless even though you put on a mask, Jimin can see it all hell everyone can see it but the others don’t want to interfere though they did advice but you never listen and it make Jimin so sick why you love Jae so much what exactly do you see in him, he doesn’t exactly cheating but Jimin knows that this guy is into both guy and girl and it’s not a bad thing but the bad thing is his attitude and how he treated you like trash experimenting quoting on your boyfriend word but you the only one, what a prick.

Jimin ask once why you just let it happen, let him get away with his action getting close with his friends going to club and practically abandoned you but you just said, “He’s just curious that’s all and I know he loves me and he would never do things to hurt me” Jimin thought that it's ridiculous how you easily say that when he can see how much you hurting.

Jimin try to confront to Jae at least that’s the only thing he can do but Jae somehow make a move on him and that honestly shocked him not because he is disgusted but because he is your boyfriend and Jimin punch him as Jae bleed on his mouth saying what the hell, Jimin just shook his head, “You don’t deserve her, just leave her if you not even going to commit you bastard!” but Jae just chuckles, “If I left her, she would be more miserable you can see it don’t you, she loves me too much, I bet you like her don’t you too bad cause you doesn’t seem like a bad companion”

Jimin is about to punch him again when he is being stop and he look back, seeing it’s you, Jae eyes wide but you says nothing as you pull Jimin away from Jae.

JImin just look at you and look at his and your hands after awhile you stop in front of the lake near the bridge, you let his hand go and look out at the lake as you start to spoke, “It hurts so much Jimin, I knew that loving him won’t do me good, he uses me, he take my money, and I give him everything that I can all I ask for him to love me back to treat me like his other half for awhile I do feel love but then it just fade away I just don’t know what to do but hold on to that feeling but I know it’s hopeless isn’t it, hoping for nothingness reaching out for a star that can’t be reach, sorry I’m so weird” Jimin grab your shoulder and turn you around seeing you already have tears streaming down your cheek and his heart just hurts as he pull you in close to his embrace as he whisper to your ear, “it’s okay, as long you realize that, he is never worth your time, it hurts me seeing you like this every time I just wish you know you worth much more than that prick can ever give to you” you just sobbing through your tears and he just held you close and you feel warm in his embrace, it’s somehow different from Jae that feel nice but not as warm and welcome like Jimin.

The next day Jae is there at your apartment, in front of your apartment and you just stares at him, he look back at you trying to pull to his embrace but you step back and he look surprised, “Are you serious?” You nod slowly not trusting your voice right now,Jae just chuckles, “Wow, Jimin really got you huh, is it that easy for you now to just left me and go for him?” You can feel tears start to form but you exhale shakily, “This has nothing to do with Jimin, it’s you and always been you but I was fooled I love you too much I shouldn’t but I did anyway and I am done so please leave” Jae raise his eyebrow as to challenge me, “Are you sure baby cause I know it will hurt you more and you know I love you”, you shook your head, “You never did from the start, I should have known but I fell for you anyways it might take awhile but I’m better off without you” you said shakily and quickly you go pass him and get in your apartment you lock the door and you just break down leaning against the door tears falling from your cheeks.

Love hurts no matter why, no matter how the failing of relationship happens it hurt you because what you felt for Jae is your genuine feelings you do love him with all your heart but he just take your heart and play with it growing thorns in your heart,the first month after you broke up with him the pain is unimaginable, you don’t feel like going out nor that you out much but Jimin notice the most but you shut him out too. It feels more empty than before there’s always reminder the guitar that you bought but he used to play with yours, the phone he would help you buy, the promise rings that engraved with your name and his and the half keychain, you can’t help to cry until you sleep, he is your first love but he rip it apart and now you left to fend for yourself on your heartbreak.

Jimin never give up because he knows that you will shut everyone down and Jimin can’t have that so he would wait after you finish work usually you managed to avoid him but you know how persistence he can be so you just let him to your house, luckily your house it not much of a mess, he brings a few tubs of ice cream chocolate with brownies bits and almond your favorite and pizza and you just look at him about to cry and he panic a little you just wave it off, “I’m just touch and you remember my ice cream, I’m sorry I just so emotional” He sigh in relief then smiles, “It’s alright, let’s have movie night we can watch mean girls” You laugh out loud for the first time of the few months, “Nah, let’s watch avengers something we both love” and he grin and he knows that it will take awhile to heal your heart but he can be patient throughout the journey as long you are happy with him by your side.

Imagine it

It’s Valentine’s Day and Jungkook wants his gift to be made with love. So he goes ask his Jin hyung to help him make bread, though they kinda fail at it. Anyway, Jungkook asks his hyung to help him bake a cake and some cookies, and they pack it up cutely. Jungkook runs to the music studio where Yoongi is recording some tracks, and surprises his lover with the desserts.

“You know I don’t like sweets much,” Yoongi says to the young boy.

“Yeah, but this isn’t about sweets,” Jungkook replies.

Yoongi stares at Jungkook for awhile, but takes a bite from the almost burnt cookie and failed baked bread. He can tell that Jungkook asked for help, but mainly wanted to cook himself. He stares at Jungkook’s hands and sees a bit of the red burnt bruises forming.

“It’s delicious,” Yoongi says before smiling genuinely at the young man.

Jungkook beams and shyly blushes at his boyfriend’s approval.

Then Yoongi gently tugs at his boyfriend’s hand and takes him inside the studio. He plays Jungkook a track with which he recorded. All but cheesy lyrics were spit in the song, and Yoongi murmurs on while rubbing circles on the lad’s hand, “it’s a demo for now because it’s unfinished, but I’ll make sure everyone hears that I love you.”
