This is a VERY long over-due commission for my dear NativeWolf318 I cannot tell you how wonderful NativeWolf318 is for being so patient with me.  The end of last year was a crazy whirl of events. So I got a commission from CrystalUniicorn  and I was super excited!  Her art is beyond anything I could hope to do.  At first I was stressing out about it, because I mean come on... How could I ever top her art?!  But then I realized its not about topping, its about portraying her stunning character in my own style.   So I took some tricks I have recently learned and put them into practice on this one.  I wanted to give her a very soft god-like feeling and also SUPER flowy cause DAMN THAT MANE!!!! lol  Anyways, I hope I did her justice, ignore the wonky hands, LOL.  I saw that in one of the posts it says she can make her wings visible/invisible when she pleases.  So I chose to focus more on her face and not stress out over wings I hope you like it dear, this was a challenge and so much fun! So I felt so bad that I took so long on my dear friend’s commission, wanted to do another piece of art for Rhixas This was fun, I had a great time trying out a new pose and lighting.  The Albino in the picture is my OC Edur, who is an albino Makoto.  His lady fair next to him is Rhixas 's sweetie Aryanna.  She is a human.  She is an artist and a scribe taking notes on the Makoto species since they were so closed off to the rest of the world.  In the RP currently they have been trying for a child and it just has not been working.  Its a tough time for them, but they still make the best of it.  They have each other. So the awesome Aaron Blaise had his classes on sale this weekend!  WOOT!   I decided since I'm using Photoshop daily now, that it would be very beneficial to me to actually KNOW what I'm doing or capable of doing in that program.  To be honest Photoshop scared me for a LOOOONNNGGGG time.  Which is why I used SAI.   Well today, I went back to try to use my tablet and SAI and .... I actually couldn't use it.   I mean it just felt so flat and so... I dunno... weird?  So that's what motivated me to get this course and really dig into what Photoshop enables artists to do.   So on the 3rd lesson Aaron walks you through a quick sketch.  I drew this along side him in the course and DAYUMMMM... wow I just... I've never really tried to draw a Lioness before and wow... I ... Just have no words.  I feel like this came from a different artist and not me.  Aaron's teaching is so easy to follow and makes so much sense.  I have taken art classes before and never have I been able to understand or enjoy what I'm being taught.   Just gunna say if you have interest in getting affordable art classes, or brushes or textures.... So I bought some courses from Aaron Blaise!!!   For my first time drawing a bear I think I did pretty good   The course is great and I can't wait to keep practicing!  What do you think?

So this was my first piece I have ever tried to paint in PS.  I think for my first shot it turned out really good!  This is my character Rynas in her equine form.  The butterflies are part of her magic that she released.  Followed ablaise 's  tutorial found here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Oihjn… Wow this was actually really fun.  Stressful at first, cause I had NO IDEA what I was doing.  BUT it was fun.  I also used brushes that I purchased from ablaise's website.  FANTASTIC!  And super cheap.  Go get them!
