One thing that I think everyone should live by is: “What goes around, comes around.”

This means that you eat what you dish out. You treat someone negatively, and that negativity comes back to bite you in the ass. I can’t say that I wish negative consequences on anyone, but those who have released their wrath on those who don’t deserve it?

Well… They have it coming to them. 

In due time, those who act cruel receive cruelty. That’s just how it is.

Look who’s back, back again

Turns out that the dilemma I’ve been having wasn’t really a dilemma after all!

I still have to make a new commission sheet since mine was… sloppy.

So for now, I have these temp commissions set up for when I do end up getting my own chase account on September third!

Am I Still Human?

So, I was going over @joeydrew-ink-orporated ‘s blog again and realized they’re part of the Angst War! So I’m gonna delve into Joey’s psyche! 

Sorry this is so short. ^^”

Joey Drew was not in a good place. Despite what he kept telling people, he was not fine. He was deeply unsettled by the changes occurring in his body. He knew he’d made some mistakes in his life, but to end up like this? He’d seen the way his brother had looked had him when he’d first shown up at work looking the way he now did. He was sure everyone thought of him as a monster. He had fangs, for Christ’s sake! It had taken so long for him to figure out how to speak again without growling. His own mother had been terrified by him.

Those thoughts swirled in his mind every time he saw himself in the mirror nowadays or when someone flinched upon seeing him. He didn’t go outside much now. He looked too strange for that. He knew he was slowly losing his humanity, and he knew it was due to the things he’d done to bring his characters to life. Had it been a mistake to bring his characters to life if it was costing him his humanity? No. He could never think that. His work was more important than anything else. He had to make sure his legacy would be cemented. Even if he died a monster, it would all be worth it as long as people remembered him.

Right?

It had to be worth it. This had to be leading up to something. It all had to be worth something. He was turning into a monster, losing his humanity slowly and painfully. He hardly recognized himself anymore. A tail, fangs, the pointed ears. What was next? Horns? Claws? Cloven hooves? It almost made him want to cry at the thought. Henry and their mother had tried to assure him that they still loved him. That he was the same as he’d always been. But he knew it wasn’t true. He was growing stranger by the day. He wasn’t the man he’d once been and he feared what the coming days would bring for him. If he was lucky, things wouldn’t progress any further. But he hadn’t been lucky so far. Still, he wasn’t going to bring any more toons to life, so maybe he would be fine.
