I feel like the entire gang would’ve loved Costco, because of the prices and the little samples!!

The workers hate to see them coming, they always get like an entire tray and pretend they’re not doing anything wrong. The only people who feel bad are Darry, Pony, and Johnny the rest do it without any guilt.

Pony for the longest time was scared to get a job because he never understood how hard it was to get one.

To Darry, it was easy as a handshake and a smile. All you have to be is confident, and have a nice charming personality.

To Soda, All you really need is connections. He knew Steve and that’s one of the biggest reasons on how he got the job, he also had a smile on his face which worked out well.

To Steve, all you need is experience. Working around cars all his life and knowing so much about cars is the reason why he got the job. And the willingness to learn. He didn’t need a smile and a firm handshake, he already knew ne got the money in the bag.

But to everyone else in the gang? Getting a job, let alone keeping it was a struggle.

To Twobit? He messed around too much. Customers weren’t enjoying his funny remarks nor did the manager liked how many breaks he took to mess around with blonds. Even though he had a nice smile he still couldn’t get a job.

To Dallas? With his police record he couldn’t get a job. He was confident, but he still didn’t get the job.

To Johnny? He was too meek to keep a conversation going with the interviewer. He said that their eyes were already judging him before he began, and that he blanked out whenever she wrote something down. Even though he was qualified for the job position he still didn’t get the job.

So, how hard is it to get a job?

I feel like Soda and Steve refused to wear pants when they were younger. Just shorts. Even with the coldest of winters, they’ll fight to their death (until they were tired) to wear shorts to play in the snow. Mrs. Curtis always won.

“Honey, you can’t play in the snow without your snow pants.”- Mrs. Curtis, holding up Soda’s snow pants.

“I don’t wanna!” And Sodapop tantrum insures.

I bet Bob has a pair of pajamas that he wears every night, no matter how tired he is he’ll wear them. He made a bedtime routine and he doesn’t like breaking them, it’s the same with his morning routine as well.

Bed time routine consists of: Take shower while brushing teeth, put on his pajamas, dry his curls, pick out an outfit for the next day, and then read for about twenty minutes (reading makes him tired).

He’s broken the routine before, and it fucks him up in the morning and he HATES IT. As he’s grown older, his routine got worse, and worse, and worse — made him more irritable and angrier. He kinda wishes he can go back to his normal routine.

Dallas Winston thinks April fools is dumb, because he always falls for the tricks. It doesn’t matter how easy they are, he always falls for them.

He tried to get something from the fridge, there was a string tied to a door, and an open milk carton, so if the door was opened? It would spill all over the floor. Unlucky. Another time where everything in the Curtis house was rearranged and nobody would be honest on what really happened. Unlucky. Another time? He couldn’t locate his lighter, every time he found it and eventually placed it in his pocket, by another second it was gone. Unlucky.

Dallas Winston will never, has never, liked April fools.

I feel like Johnny struggles pronouncing words more than anything, his lips don’t move right and he just is real funny about it. Nobody except Twobit and anyone drunk comments on it though.

“Spe-what?” Steve asks, taking another sip of beer. He’s always had a smart mouth.

“Specically! Y’know what I meant.” It gets Johnny to be sassy so they like it fine.

Darry 100% has back pain and refuses to bend down when he ties his shoes, like he will go out of his ways JUST so he won’t have to bend down. He tries to play it cool but he just looks awkward.

“Darry, whatcha’ doin?” Twobit asks, as Darry is trying to tie his shoes, only using one leg to prop himself up. Causing him to instinctively jump around like a rabbit.

“Tying my shoes,” He tries to look cool, play it off, but it’s real hard when a 6’2, 210lb man is jumping around like an idiot.

Johnny and Soda are listening to a romantic song, and the first thing Johnny thinks is, “Do real people feel this way to real people?” Cause he thinks their being dramatic

Darry is the type of guy to just eat every candy that his friends/brothers don’t like. He doesn’t even like candy, he just doesn’t want to waste food.

“Don’t throw it away,” He sighed, “Just- I’ll eat it, okay?” And he was fifteen, and been doing it ever since. They just give him the candy they couldn’t trade out to him now.

I know Bob loves playing chess, or at least knows how to play it. Before he used to get drunk, he used to go into competitions cause he thought he was interesting. He got second place at the highest, and enjoyed it. Day to day he still plays it with Randy.

“Are you stupid? The rook can’t go that way!” AND THEN BOB PLACES THE ROOK WHERE IT WAS.

“You never explained the rules you dingbat!” AND RANDY LOOKS AY THE BOARD. Bob’s white and Randy’s black.

Curly was a picky eater growing up, used to get slapped around by his dad because of it, he got over it, but not really? He learned how to mask the feeling and tried to ignore it, but if he can choose what to eat, it’s always a cheeseburger with no veggies, and no sauce.

“Just.. patty and bread?” Ponyboy asked, taking a bite out of his very colorful burger.

“What of it?” Curly asked, taking in his very thin burger into his mouth. “There’s also cheese in it.”
